Cannot capture video. Win7-64 bit

When I try to capture video in first CS5 on Win7 64 bit I get "can't activate recorder." Try to reset the camera. " I have a Panasonic DV1000 deck attached by firewire 400 (Driver Version: 6.1.7600.16385). In Nero, I can control the tape, but no video comes through. If the connection is good.

A tech note says to change the permisssion to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\1394, but I get "unable to save permsissions" and am logged on as administrator. This is a first time, I try to capture the video on Win7. I also have a problem trying to delete a folder and cannto change permissions.

I did everything to http://premierepro.wikia.com/wiki/Error:Can % 27t_activate_recorder. Not sure, I ran GSpot v2.7a correctly, says I have 111 codes ready, nothing under clarification solutions.

These instructions for an older version of first (and Windows). Do this instead:

  • Click Start orb; in the search box, type "device manager", and then select Device Manager (or you like to launch the device in any case manager)
  • Swing open the item of "IEEE 1394 Bus host controllers".
  • Right-click on your listed 1394 controller; Select "Update driver software"
  • Click on the button 'Browse my computer for driver software', then press 'Let Me pick from a list.
  • Select the option that has "(legacy)" at the end of the name; Click next and allow the driver to install
  • Close dialog boxes and try again to capture

    Hello world.

I have the Toshiba disk for Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade, as I'm currently running Vista Home Premium 64 - bit.

I do not choose the path of upgrading with the upgrade wizard Toshiba 64 bit version.
However, I am stunned with the Toshiba Upgrade Wizard dialog box, saying: "your system is not applicable to the upgrade. You can see http://www.csdsupport.toshiba.com/tais/csd/support/windows7upgrade/ information Windows 7 upgrade"after he checks the first 4 criteria as being correct.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I did buy my notebook of the USA, but live in Australia. However, I was able to order the disk to upgrade Windows 7 from Australia when I arranged for my laptop model to add to the eligible improvements on the website.

For more information, I was able to get my hands on a disc of Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit full version. On this basis, I chose Windows 7 Edition Home Premium than the version I bought.
I have used my product key from my Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade disc and chose the upgrade version.

There are 3 the memory usage possibilities that are incompatible with Windows 7 so I uninstalled them and used the Toshiba Windows 7 driver updates to install what I could. Everything works fine and update MS naturally recognizes the genuine key.

However, it defeated the purpose of why I can't upgrade from upgrade disc.

    Thank you.

Go to the default folder for MCFS3 under Program Files (x 86) /Microsoft Games / MCFS3 and move the file MCFS3.exe to a save location. Unzip the crack in the MCFS3 folder on drive C, right-click on the new .exe file and choose send to desktop as shortcut. You are in! • Compaq CQ58 - 299EV model of updated video card and driver for win7 64 bit and ram upgrade

    Hello

Since I was my compaq laptop (about a year), it was windows 7 64 bit operating system inside, even if the manual was for windows 8. So, when I looked up initially for up-to-date drivers I couldn't find support for win8, but I chose not to because I saw tons of compatibility issues with this model of laptop. Well I don't want to update soon, so I would like to know what are the latest drivers I can find for my model for win7 64-bit.

So, what model of video card has it built in (it just says: "Intel(r) HD Graphics"), so I can find the right drivers for it?
Also can I put my ram? There are now 2 GB.

    Thanks in advance.

Since it is a Celeron processor it comes:

Intel HD Graphics (on models with Intel Pentium or Celeron processor; supports DirectX 10)

They don't give him a number. The processor is based on the Sandy Bridge architecture, so any driver for the video card HD 3000 series will work.

Latest version of the Intel driver

This can take up to 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) DDR3-1333 SO-DIMM, like this:

  • New dv7t Win7 64-bit cannot access other than XP

    Hi all

My new dv7t notebook Win7 64-bit cannot see a XP PC on my home network. This is strange, exasperating er, is that he could yesterday. In short, what worked yesterday does not work today.

    * XP - Computer Office SP3 is connected to Linksys WRT54G v8 (latest firmware)
    * Office XP shared a connection USB Canon i960 printer
    * Computer laptop Win7 is wireless connected to the WRT54G
    * Internet connection is fantastic.

Yesterday, I added the canon printer to the laptop Win7 using the trick of local port: Port Local = \\winxp1\canoni960. It worked great; documents and test printed pages. Yesterday, I could see the shared printer on the XP.

In addition, Office XP has appeared in my Win7 network. Yesterday, I could see her and you connect to it, for example, Start-> Run-> \\winxp1 worked.

Today, nothing. It does not - and I spent most of the last 15 hours trying to make it work.

    On laptop Win7...

    * passes the 'Home' network 'work '.
    * changed the workgroup on Win7 to match XP: both are now member of the Working Group "MSHOME".
    * the portable Win7 removed from the "homegroup".
    * WiFi dropped and re-created
    * tinkered with different combinations of parameters in 'Advanced sharing settings.
    * ' net view' raise an error "system error 6118 has occurred. The list of servers of this working group is not available. "Bad news: Win7 system can even see itself.

I tried hundreds of others suggestions collected on the Windows 7 forum. None worked.

I'm puzzled. I don't know what to try next, other than to return the thing to the original image.

If you know or suspect that happens and how to solve this problem, I will be highly grateful.

    Thank you.

    Hello

I have a problem with the video capture from a Sony TRV60E with a Satellite A300 1MX and Windows 7 camcorder via the firewire connector.

The camera is not recognized (or more) Windows.

I already changed the firewire driver under windows to the "legacy", also often described in other forums.
And for a few hours, everything worked fine. The camera has been recognized and Pinnacle Studio 14 could capture video of him.

But after eight hours, the camera was suddenly is no longer recognized.

-l' camera is immediately recognized by a XP system
-On the system W7, I uninstalled, reinstalled the driver firewire, powered down the material (shot of power and the batteries for several minutes), but nothing helped.

I may have a different firewire driver? Or another operating system?

    Thank you.
    kJ

It is not easy to say what the problem is here.
For confuses me the fact that cam has BEEN recognized in the past and now for some reason any it is not recognized correctly.

You can test the firewire port using another device?

  • Cannot find or open a folder for my captured videos, but they are there (WS-VR203P)

I have a nice video capture unit that I managed to capture video.  (I bought from Monoprice.com (http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=108&cp_id=10810&cs_id=1081003&p_id=5616&seq=1&format=2) and it seems that other sites sell as the WS-VR203P)

The problem: the folder that it records videos in (C:\Program Files x86\EZ Grabber\MyVideos) is not visible in the Solution Explorer, even with "show files and folders" enabled.  The only way to see it is through the interface of the software video capture card, and even in this case the parent folder, it shows the folder my videos with a top lock.

I need to access these records to import videos captured in Windows Live Movie maker or Adobe Premiere Pro, etc, but no program can see that folder.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thank you

Windows 7 does not allow for programs to save data in the x 86 Program Files or Program Files folders.  Your program is apparently not properly designed for Windows 7.  For backward compatibility purposes, it redirects these data in a 'virtual' folder in your user profile.  This can be very confusing when look you.

Think about it an absolute must - manually update your drivers.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded
on your system. For each driver in the list, additional useful information is
Poster: load address of the driver, description, version, product name,.
company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit Maker as replacements and system manufacturer of device which are
the most recent. Control Panel - write - graphics card - device manager
the brand and complete model of your video card - double click - tab of the driver-
Note the version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this can do nothing
MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
This will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard
If there are 3rd party with their own software and drivers and the other main device drivers
    you have.

Now, go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restore)
and site (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get the manufacturer and device
their latest versions. (Look for the system to update the BIOS, Chipset and software updates
    Site of the manufacturer here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN -.
    REBOOT after each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you are
installation actually appears. This is because that some rollback of drivers before the
later is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a driver - reboot.
Make sure that it is installed and repeat if necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW to the device makers DO NOT RUN THEIR
SCANNER - check manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/HT/driverdlmfgr.htm

Installation and update of drivers under Windows 7 (updated drivers manually using
the above methods is preferable to ensure the latest drivers from the manufacturer of system
    and device manufacturers are located)
    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/43216-installing-updating-drivers-7-a.html

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable driver facilities
in the updates of Windows, which leaves on Windows updates, but it will not be installed
pilots who are generally older and cause problems. If updates provides a new
driver then hide it (right click on it) and then go get new ones manually if
    you want.
