• All of a sudden I have no audio when I place an item in the sequence.  What have I done?

  My guess is you have accidentally clicked off the 'A1' highlighted in the image below.

  

  If neither V1 or A1 is in these boxes, you can drag and drop. If you do this, the A1 and V1 will display. However, if only one of them is there, then you only will be able to drop the video or the audio function that is there.

  Make sure that you look like mine. If necessary, reset your workspace.

  I can't change my fontsize by using the arrows in front of the box, or the arrow keys on my keyboard. (see image below)

  I think Jan means the small up and down arrows next to the font size in the user interface.

  Relatively simple page HTML - font size has been VERY low, but no matter what I do to try and change, it always comes back to 9 pt.

  While I never figure to the cause - the solution was to simply copy the text from the page of 'point 9' - completely remove this page from the server and create a new page in the same model.

  Guess who edited the page could have copied text from MS Word or another software that has brought its own... hidden formatting codes?

  Try to rename/move/delete your preferences file, it can be useful. This will reset all your preferences. If you only rename/move, you can return to it if without success.

  BTW, the Camera Raw preferences (such as the size of the cache and location) are kept in:

  'C:\Users\PoramateV\AppData\Local\Adobe\CameraRaw\Defaults\Preferences.xmp '.

  Looks like your current profile does not work correctly.

  Create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.

  Essbase is a similar error .otn when you try to copy an overview.

  The .otn file is a temporary plan generated during a restructuring.
  You must have had a restructuring fail recently.
  I'm in the app/db directory and delete the temporary files to a restructuring - .otn .inn, .pan, (IIRC .dbn and .esn).
  Now run a restructuring again and see if it succeeds, if so, great, if it fails again, research the cause of failure.

I tried jscher2000 suggested the procedure to return to the old profile but did not include 'semi random name' in the folder of old data from Firefox, which seems to be incomplete, as said "favorite backups" folder is empty and stupid I'm not manually save my favorites (years of research).   You use Norton or McAfee av?  I suggest to uninstall these and select free software such as Microsoft Security Essentials, Avast or AVG.  These work properly with Windows Mail.

  Hello. I'm running Windows 7 x 64; logged as administrator. Until recently have not had problems with the automated network diagnostics. Periodically, the Internet will stop working, and I click on "connection problem fixed." The system would not not automatic, including reset network cards and renew the IP addresses.

  Recently, this function has stopped working. Now, whenever I try to use Network Diagnostics, this utility ends with the message "Troubleshooting could not identify the problem."

  When I click on 'Further information', there is a message that "issues found: the adapter doesn't have a valid IP address" and the solution 'reset the adapter' is followed by ""DO NOT RUN " "

  If I create manually a problem such as disabling an adapter, it will give a similar indication that convenience store has been impossible to identify the problem. However, if I open the section more information, it shows that the adapter is disabled. with a solution 'Adapter to activate' that is NOT EXECUTED and nothing is done.

  I don't understand why this utility DOES NOT patch over. I looked for a setting activate for this and does. This problem appeared out of nowhere. It does not matter where I invoke diagnostics network - the result is the same.
