  I have / had the same thoughts.

  I still do digital magazines, but there is no great interest in this subject over the side customers. Less not as digital publications are doing for now (with content Apps done in InDesign/XPress and enriched with scrolling more late especially perhaps some videos, slideshows and materials). Looks like we did the same experiments how people react. People do not know that they exist. If show you them, there is an effect wow for about 5 seconds. • Dynamic action with refreshment area interactive report

  I use APEX 4.02
  
  I have a page with 2 regions.
  Region1 is a form (of entry)
  Region.2 is an interactive report on the same table as region 1
  
  When you enter values in the form I'm trying dynmically similar research records in the table with the interactive report.
  
  I made a dynamic action on the change of form fields that must refresh the interactive report region. I can see this one fires if I add an alert to debug if it fires.
  The dynamic report is based on a query with bind variable pointing to the fields in the form, for example

  Field1 =: P2_FIELD1
  
  
  It works fine on the page loading, so no action is triggered, but I see the lines in the region of report are the ones I'm looking for.
  The updating of the report area does not work, but it is never nice and/or showing the correct data after a change of form fields, if it looks like the dynamic action "refresh the region" does not work on the interactive report.
  
  Any ideas why it can go wrong?
  I want to solve this problem using standard dynamic actions and preferably not via PL/SQL or JS, should be possible if I believe documentation... ;)

  When I opened my existing models, everything seems fine.

  I chose one of my domains (MyDomains.xml) files

  Areas seem to load fine.  I try to add a field (indicate name, logical Type digital =, size = 9) and click on apply

  Error message: "file name of invalid areas. supposed defaultdomains.

  New domain is not registered or added to the fields in my current model.

  Is this a bug or something I misconfigured with my installation?

  It is a file which resides in the directory of your design? If so you do not need to open this file explicitly - just add domain and select a file in the "File areas" drop-down list box, or type a name for the new file.

  The "file select areas" (when you select the file in the file system field) is useful when you want to prepare the file with the fields that will be used in several places - drawings, computers.

  Yes, I had the same problem. I ended up using a javascript function that is customized for the updating of the IR.

  First of all, you need to set pagination of your IR line varies from X to Y of Z.

  Here you go... After selecting New-> analysis-> industry, in the left pane, you will see the text "field. To his right, find two icons that with + symbol and the second with the refresh icon. Click the refresh icon to see these two options.

• Noob question Guides/anchors are not 'on' the object that I create

  I know that this is probably an arrangement that I don't get the sense... but here's my problem.

  When I create an object, the access/guide/anchor point path is not 'ON' the object I create... 'floats' outside this object... Instead of being on the object, like everybody else I see in tutorials, etc.
