  I use Windows Vista on my laptop. Its quite some time that I did not use my DVD/CD drive. Today, I try to use but cannot read any CD or DVD. I was trying to solve the problem of updating the drive, but still cannot fix. Can I use Microsoft FIX IT microsoft support but the problem still there.

  It is very rare for the methods in the 1st answer above does not fix a Code 19.

  You might have a disk problem as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD and CD burn and)
  DVD playback). Therefore, it is not unusual for 1 or 2 rooms with not so work that others do it properly.

  Did you follow the Troubleshooting Guide for the reader who still does not work? There are some registry entries

• Cannot change left/right mouse buttons.

  There is no tab in the properties of the mouse buttons. Some time in all of the recent "improvements" that gave me a center mouse & keyboard, the button tab disappeared from the properties of the mouse.   I suggest you to change the boot order in the BIOS. The discs must load the way you do. Here are the steps to change the boot order.

  1. Turn on the computer and immediately press "F10".
  2. Once in the BIOS, select the option "System Configuration".
  3. Select "Startup Options".
  4. Select "Boot order".
  5. Change the drive DVD-ROM to the first option.
  6. Restart the computer with the disk in the drive

  On Vista, Windows DVD Maker requires that you have Windows Vista Home Premium or Windows Vista Ultimate Edition.  If you have one of these versions, you should already have Windows DVD Maker and Windows Movie Maker 6.0.  These versions of Windows Vista are required to have copies under license from MPEG-2 to make a video DVD.

  I was not aware of a separate installer for Windows DVD Maker, so I suspect you look at something of a 3rd site part. If it is a Microsoft site, can provide you the address you use?

  Check and make sure that you logged in to the administrator account and check if it helps.

  If you have changed the settings for region of the DVD player more than 5 times then you will not be able to change more.

  Unfortunately I can't tell you anything about this message but I know for sure that you can change the region code just for 5 times. Later it will be fixed and no another changes is not possible.
