  I have a window open on my desktop that I can't close. It happened when I downloaded Google Earth. This downloaded fine, but when the user agreement came on the screen for a reason he couldn't display this Web page.   I'm trying to help my mother to troubleshoot remotely.  She has a Mac Mini running El Capitan 10.11 and she seems to have some sort of malicious infection?

  I enclose a photo of its Chrome browser window - she can't close Chrome and if she did a restart it back just to the same window.

  We did download and run Avast free Mac Security (oops - probably should have checked here everything first).  The scan has not fixed the problem.

  Restore - then the cmd - then the chkdsk and none worked. Restore the computer to 30 days. The sidebar not closeing was 2 days ago.

  If a stored subprogram exits with an unhandled exception, PL/SQL does not restore changes to the database made by the subprogramme.

  What is happening here, it is an anonymous block (which is not stored) stops with an unhandled exception, and who restores the uncommitted transactions.

  Quite simple - I wanted to 'install' TypeDifer.exe as the tool of comparison for '.seq' files in perforce P4V visual client for I can browse and review the differences before check-ins, etc..

  I installed the https://lumen.ni.com/nicif/us/nilabstypdiftst/content.xhtml toolkit - first by a double click, then by installing as an administrator with XP SP3 compatibility selected. The package is very good in both cases, but none of the Toolbox tools will run.

  I've got VS2003, 2005, 2010 installed on this PC, and when I try to run TypeDiffer.exe, I get the JIT debugger breaking in with

  An unhandled exception ('System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException') occurred in TypeDiffer.exe [71276].

  Other tools all give much the same results. Did I miss something? There are a couple of DLLs with the EXE, do need to be placed elsewhere to ensure that they are seen, or perhaps they will have to be registered and by the installer under Win7 64 are not?

  We will examine that. One thing I want to mention, is that if you are looking for a different general purpose and use TestStand 2010 or higher, you should probably use the delay comes with TestStand rather under:

  C:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\Shared\TestStand\FileDifferLauncher.exe

  The typediffer is only for types differentiate, so it will only show you all the differences untyped in the file.
