Cannot combine files in Adobe Acrobat XI

I'm unable to combine files to PDF with Acrobat XI.

I'm on Windows 10.

Here are the screenshots of the answers I get:

Does anyone know what is the problem?

Looks like you're combining files that are not (or at least not all) PDF files. The error message suggests a XLSX file. Have you tried to convert the file in question first in Excel via the Acrobat Tools/Ribbon toolbar button? Does it work or you get the same error message?

Since this morning, I can't do "Save as" or "send to" files in Adobe DC. The screen appears and a windows icon (the four squares in Windows 10) display with the squares changing color intermittently. I did a repair and also uninstalled reinstalled Acrobat, but it changed nothing. Any ideas?

    Hi sihlen,

Could you confirm please if you use CC Acrobat or Acrobat Reader CC?

Also, share the exact point version of the application installed on the document, you can find under the menu help-> Acrobat Acrobat/Reader DC.

Make sure that it is updated to the latest version, you can check for updates under the Help menu.

Right-click on the icon of the application & run as check admin if this solves the problem.

Also, try this. Open Acrobat DC-> edit-> Preferences-> General-> uncheck "show online registration storage files.

Let me know how it goes.

    Kind regards

  • Association of files with Adobe Acrobat 9

I have recently upgraded to Windows 7 Professional of Vista business and also improved Adobe 8 Professional of Adobe 9 Professional. I then tried to associate my files "*.pdf" Adobe 9 but were unable to do so. Windows 7, I cannot combine PDFs with adobe 9 although other adobe files (for example *.pdx or *.pdfmxl) are recognized as the program of choice for these files. Windows 7 does not display Adobe as default program that is available to me or let me set the file association for the Adobe program in the area of the control panel. When I try to 'Browse' to Windows 7 for the Adobe program to add it to the default programs, Windows 7 does not recognize my selection.

  • Cannot combine files into a single pdf on iPhone.   I have pack pdf

cannot combine files into a single pdf on iPhone with pack pdf

    Hello

In mobile applications of Acrobat Reader (for iOS, Android), you can convert from and to PDF documents using the PDF Pack online subscription service.

However, the 'Combine files' feature is not available inside the player of mobile applications.

To use the function 'Combine files', you must use the interface of the web browser (https://cloud.acrobat.com/combinepdf) on your Windows or Mac desktop.

You can sign in Adobe Document Cloud via web browsers (Safari, Chrome, etc.) on your iPad/iPhone to download documents or view.  However, you are not able to Choose of PDF documents combine the web browser interface because iOS (operating system) does not allow users to select local documents except the app images Photos.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

  • When I try to open a PDF file with adobe Acrobat reader Windows Media Center automatically appears.

When I try to open a PDF file with adobe Acrobat reader, windows media center automatically opens. How to prevent this? I just want to open the PDF file with Acrobat reader.

The solution I think. If you right-click on one of the files and select open the file locations it now combined the file with adobe reader.

Yes - you simply need to change the associated file (and path) back to Adobe Reader.  (If that's your choice PDF reader.)

    If you did this:

Press the Windows Logo and R key at the same time to bring up the dialog box RUN.
Once you have the dialog box up, type in the following command and press OK...

    cmd /k ftype AcroExch.Document

That he return with? Should be something like:

    AcroExch.Document = "C:\Program files (x 86) \Adobe\Reader 10.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe" '%1'

    Hi imad,.

We have a work around for this problem. I hope that it will work in your scenario.

Print the PDF using "Adobe PDF". Edit this new PDF instead of the original one.

    Steps to follow:

    1. go to file-> Print. (Ctrl + P)

    2. Select 'Adobe PDF' as the printer.

    3. click on print. Save in any desired location when prompted.

    4. open the new PDF.

    5 edit.

Let me know if this helps.
