cannot combine files into a single pdf on iPhone with pack pdf

Hello

In mobile applications of Acrobat Reader (for iOS, Android), you can convert from and to PDF documents using the PDF Pack online subscription service.

However, the 'Combine files' feature is not available inside the player of mobile applications.

To use the function 'Combine files', you must use the interface of the web browser (https://cloud.acrobat.com/combinepdf) on your Windows or Mac desktop.

You can sign in Adobe Document Cloud via web browsers (Safari, Chrome, etc.) on your iPad/iPhone to download documents or view.  However, you are not able to Choose of PDF documents combine the web browser interface because iOS (operating system) does not allow users to select local documents except the app images Photos.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

  • Combining files into a single pdf file no longer works

I used to be able to combine files into a single pdf on my Mac using Adobe Acrobat Professional XI. Now, when I select 'combine files into a single pdf file", I just get a short vertical line with a gray cloud around him in the center of my screen. Should I reinstall the program?

I thought about it and then seen a response from ME & C David (who also found the same thing). Somehow the window that appears when I click on "combine files" had been reduced to a very tiny line. When I double-clicked on it, I could see she had a tiny window and then managed to extend it to normal size. This after about 3 weeks of not being able to use it until I had the time to post this question. He spends several hours of my life... I've never seen this happen before in other programs and it's a mystery as to how it happened here. Thanks for all your answers, and Yes, David, it was "completely stupid" why it happened in the first place.

  • combine files into a single PDF, sorted by file date

I can create a single PDF from multiple PDF documents in a portfolio of emails created by Outlook, but they sort by default on the name of the topic. It seems that you must manually reorganize before finalizing the conversion process, but there are hundreds of files, which makes it almost impossible. I have the emails sorted by date in the preview pane of portfolio, but it seems not to matter. Creating this single PDF file sorted by date of the email?

    Hi kenb88710049,

Select all emails in Outlook & then right-click to select "Convert to Adobe PDF".

It will convert all your emails in pdf format in the same sequence in a single file.

  • Combine files into a single PDF file with the same file name

I have a PDF form that I have to fill out some data and a Microsoft Word Document.   Sometimes I wait a few days, so I need to fill out the same form PDF.  When I combine them, I get warning that PDF forms with the same name will be the same - if I don't want it, I should create a PDF portfolio.  The portfolio is not as I want.  It combines PDF files in some others.

I could change the names of the fields that I need, but I sometimes fear that I missed something.

Is there a way to get away with this problem if the combination is good?  I have to fax documents at once created and portfolio doesn't seem like I can do.

Adobe Acrobat Pro XI and Windows 8.1

    Thank you!

    Corey

Flatten the fields of the form before combine you files.

  • Combine files to a single PDF does not recognize the .ai files. If this happens?

Im working with .ai files and I was wondering if I were to convert before a meet in a single PDF file? When I "Combine files into a single PDF" the finder window does not display the .ai files. I was wondering if that is supposed to happen? It is absolutely necessary first convert them to PDF format?

You can always store as .ai files and should. But create a PDF file for the feature of the combine. Just to be sure, have you tried to open a .ai file in Acrobat (not combine) and doing a job? I do not suspect. If this isn't the case, then it is clear that you must first create the PDF file for the graphic illustrator. Acrobat cannot convert automatically all types of files as PDF documents, but only selected application files. I'm not sure that the illustrator files are a selected application. You seem to assume that Acrobat should be able to open any file and it is not the case.

  • Combine files to a single PDF is not recognize the .indd files - not supported?

I'm 99% sure that I used the "combine files into a single PDF file" command to convert several .indd in a single front PDF files. This week, I can't do it. First I tried on Acrobat Pro XI, and then today I upgraded to DC. I called Adobe customer support, who was no help - guy who talked were told it is not supported and I have to then export in InDesign. I'm going crazy? What we used to be able to do, but Adobe has changed recently? I see someone else asked a similar question on the .ai files. Seems strange to me that an Adobe product does not support a popular Adobe product!

No, Acrobat is not convert INDD files in recent versions. For both versions, there was a plugin that does this, but opening INDD desired. He has never worked well, I'm glad that they have eliminated it.

  • HP Officejet 7610: Scan of the computer cannot be activated or scan and combine them into a single pdf document.

I've recently updated to macOS Sierra 10.12 and scanning to HP computer software cannot be located when I open the HP utility.

I can't find a further recommended HP software for my device other than El captain in operating system online.

If I try to scan through preferences systems for printers and Scanners I can open the scanner, but I can't create a PDF combining into one document - it cancels the procedure after about 2 pages!

The scan HP Destinations 'PDF for Adobe Reader' is red 'could not locate the target application that might have removed or uninstalled. File format = "PDF".

How can I get that back?

    Thank you

    Hi @JOGL,

Thank you for joining the HP Forums!

I understand that computer analysis can not be activated as well as the scan and combine them into a single pdf document. With your printer HP Officejet 7610. I am pleased to see that for you!

At this time for this model. There is no software and drivers for Mac OS X 10.12 again, given that the operating system has just been launched, it could take some time. For the time being, you can try to use HP Easy Scan to see if that can meet your scanning preferences. In otherwise, all we can do is wait for the software and drivers to be released.

    2. A small window opens
    3. Look for the files to combine
    4. Drag the window and gout.
    5. Search for the following file and repeat
    6. Drag the files to correct the order.
    7. Rename and save the PDF

Its actually easier than using insert pages.

  • Using Acrobat Distiller API to combine several files into a single PDF

I am trying to automate a process and I need to take 4 + pdf files and combine them into a single PDF.  I see in Acrobat Adobe Pro 8 that I can use the icon to "combine" in the toolbar, but my users want this process to be automated.  Is there an API or some way I can do this?  I put the API / code in an Access 2007 application.  I read on the Distiller API, but do not know if it is something that I can use in my access database to call via accomlish and vba code, that.  Need help to determine the best way to achieve this...
    Thank you

No - it's something you need on your development computer.  It contains all the necessary documents, code examples, etc in order to teach you how to develop with Acrobat.

  • Acrobat 9 Pro: "merge files into a single PDF" creates blank pages

I have a similar problem in a previous post (which received no response).

I am able to pdf documents fine Word, but when I try to combine > merge files into a single pdf, pdf pages that result are all empty. I do not receive any error messages or have problems to save the file.

I use Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro (9.5.1) on Windows 7.

Merging pdf files did not work at all since I installed the program.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I would like to try a repair before a reinstall. If you perform a reinstall, be sure to disable everything first.

How are you trying to merge. This may be a feature added by AA X and I do not have, but the details are always useful. What happens if you simply open one and then use the Document > insert Pages (or as much as Adobe may have set this time) and add a document at the end of the first?

There are a few available alternatives to fill the need such as Merge PDF files in ABAP. RCS

But unfortunately other solutions are not very good optimized solution, according to the observations, there is a high use of material resources.

It seems Adobe Acrobat also provide the ability to merge multiple pdf files.

Does anyone have an experience that what would be the needs of the command-line to examine if the solution triggered by end of SAP ECC ABAP.
