Cannot display iTunes good screen

After downloading the last update... my iTunes screen is unusable

It's as if the font size has been increased abnormally, album icons are very large...

At the end of the mind with what to do

Help, please!

Hi there sjc1777,

I see you are having some problems viewing in iTunes for Windows after a recent update. This could be due to your DPI settings on your computer, such as mentioned in the following articles:

When you change the DPI on Windows 7 setting, some fonts can be resized too big or too small
https://support.Microsoft.com/en-us/KB/2556182

Make the text on the screen larger or smaller
small http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/make-the-text-on-your-screen-larger-OU? v = t

As noted above, the size of text can appear more or less important depending on the settings of your computer. To remedy this, you may need to change your DPI settings.

Thank you for coming to Apple Support communities!

Ah, some so I missed the fact that only 4 of my 5 segments were displayed in the preview of the user interface, which should have been a hint.  So, this is just a warning.

Something else that threw me off was that my UI was not poster when I actually loaded it in the Simulator, but I think it's because I need to have a Page at the top of main.qml, not a simple container.

  • Firefox will not display on the screen even though with Process Explorer, I see active Firefox.exe but no CPU usage

I use Firefox as default browser v10.0.2 on Dell XPS8300 Intel Core i5 and Windows 7 Ultimate and Compaq Presario CQ57 IO IO Intel Core i3 and Windows 7 Home. More frequently on the (approximately 90% of attempts) that Dell (50% of attempts) Firefox will not display on the screen when I click the icon. Cannot display other programs when it happens. I expressly say display because I believe that Firefox has started. To work around the problem, I installed Process Explorer on both machines and launch this program first, then click on the Firefox icon. When the problem occurs I see process Firefox.exe in the list of processes; some CPU consumed but, then, no CPU activity. If I click on the Firefox icon, yet another process opens in the list of processes, but with the same answer - some consumed CPU and then no CPU activity. If I have 2 processes running and kill the process from the 1st, the 2nd poster and then everything is normal. If I do not open it treat a 2nd, but kill the 1st process then click the Firefox Firefox is displayed and all then is normal. This problem has occurred since the original on the two new machines installation. I have updated the video drivers on both computers.

OK, let's see if we can solve this problem and make it work for you!

First of all, if you start Firefox in safe mode (restart your computer first, then when you open Firefox, hold down the SHIFT key) it starts more reliable? This is usually caused by a defective module. If this does not help, then restart Firefox, go to the Firefox, then add-ons button and disable your extensions one by one until you find the troublemaker.

Also, try to update to Firefox 11, it has several bug fixes that might make life easier here.

Just as a few troubleshooting steps base to ensure that we have all the bases covered,
Run all Windows updates, install all required service packs, etc.

Update all of your plugins (Flash, Java, etc.): http://www.mozilla.org/plugincheck/.

Download and install MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, run a full scan. http://www.malwarebytes.org/. This check allows that there is no virus on your computer, causing problems. You can uninstall this program after having cleaned the infections.

    Hello

Since when does the problem appear? This is the first time?

I don't know, but if you didn t already reinstalled the drivers display, I would say it since sometimes the VGA driver dislikes the desires of the users.
Please, go to the driver Toshiba download site (still ;)) and download the display driver.) Install and set only the screen inside.

If it doesn´t work back and give feedback so that we can discuss more about your problem.

  • Pavilion a6430F desktop: cannot display this page

Read a recent post on "Apps does not connect to internet" and felt that I had a similar problem.

I am running Win7, SP1, 64-bit, on a desktop Pavilion a6430F with 6 GB of RAM on an AMD Phenom triple core processor.  I frequently get "cannot display this page" on this machine on some pages.

This does not work on my laptop HP DV2620 old Win7 32bits or my most recent HP Slimline 400 Win8.1 64 bit machines running.

Here's a url for example that works on units of the latter, but not on the first.  http://www.Samsung.com/us/support/FAQ/FAQ00059191/81528/

There is a link to live chat on this page: https://sales.liveperson.net/hc/49151746/

When I click on this link I get the "this page cannot be displayed" on the unity of 6430.

Is happening in other places, like the links recommended on research such as Ask or Google pages, albums, but this one lately not on the search page.

Accordingly, I find only a specific computer that deliver the 6430.  Check a number of parameters against the DV2620 and apart from differences of 64/32 bit, all the settings in the following areas is the same: the settings of the firewall, internet options in the settings of compatibility, SmartScreen and IE11, withdraws. However this particular page is properly on the 2620.

I turned all add-ons, on and outside (separately or in the past), reinstalled Java to the latest version, also added the url to trusted sites, and remove and reinstall IE 11 completely (remove personal settings) with the feature of Control Panel...  Don't know what else to try.

There is no unusual apps or software installed. And it has worked before. Now I don't know if a fix IE 11 Microsoft may have changed something?

Anyone who might have ideas, I'd be happy to exercise this operating system little more.

Thanks for your time and your thoughts!

Well, is there more to this story than meets the eye... my eyes anyway.  For those of you who like to do things to protect your computers, you can install an application called HOSTS BLOCK of MVPS.ORG.  Beautiful small DNS utility of blocking that keep a little of the junk in the side frames to display in web pages.  However, most of the reputable places have found ways to circumvent the blocking of the HOSTS file, so I don't see a lot of value for those who are really paying attention to their web browsing.

BLOCK HOSTS. I overlooked the possibilities this would be the source of the problem. But, as I reset the HOSTS file in windows > system32 > drivers > etc fashionable original and empty the cache DNS (run ipconfig/flushdns) the universe turned right upward and the error message no longer appears.

Also, you need to return the DNS services on 'automatic' If you choose to remove the MVPS HOSTS file.

It's easy to do in the command run by typing "services.msc" (without quotes) click OK at the prompt and get off at "DNS Client".  Right click and select 'Properties' then click on the drop down arrow for "Startup type" and choose "automatic". Apply or OK, and then restart the computer.  Pretty easy.

In any case, BH thank you for your help.  After I thought about it, it was bit of a duh, but I guess it was easily overlooked.

BTW - if you want to continue to use the blocker HOST MVPS, there is a utility on the MVPs.org site called HOSTMAN who allows to turn the blocker host MVPS and disable. I have not installed or tried this, so I can't vouch for it. Maybe someone else can do?

All this to say, everything seems to be in order.  Hope this helps someone else.

Good day and Merry Christmas - happy holidays

    Just curious.

Hello boongsong, I can see the picture now. I see that you're talking about.

Here a link to Microsoft that may have a fix for the problem. It's worth a try. If Mocrosoft cannot solve it, we can do a bit of research on the question, but I suspect it is perhaps that the Internet Explorer settings may try to block some sites and have a problem to do. I've not seen this before.

I have Norton, but I cannot in my Internet Explorer or one of the other toolbars. It's just a personal preference, which makes the screen too "busy" to me. I also remove all other icons in toolbars that I don't use. But again, this is just a personal preference.

  • Gives Windows Update: Internet Explorer cannot display this webpage

MS Windows XP Home Edition version 2002 SP 3 Norton Internet Security 2010

Start button...  Windows Update... immediately pops up a window of Internet Explorer 8, saying "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage."  with a diagnose connection problems button leading to say there is nothing wrong with the connection.  No error code is displayed.

Tried several times over several days.  Not good.  Tried to type the URL in the address field.  Same result.  Tried to access various Microsoft Windows Update web pages from within the Microsoft site.  Same result.  It almost seems as if "windows" & "update" is in the address, it does not connect.  I tried Windows malicious software removal tool.  No solution.  Tried all the Norton Scans.  No solution.  Completely removed Norton.  The same problem.

Windows Update worked until we made an update of Windows in 5/10, date at which we replaced Internet Explorer 6 with IE 8.  Since we cannot get Windows Update.

He could have something in the updates of Windows that blocks access to the updates?  He could have something in IE 8, which blocks access to updates?

Please don't give me the answer 'wipe the hard drive & reinstall Windows '.  It's a typical 'COMPUTING solution' which means 'I don't know what the problem, then that & everything will be fine.'  But in doing so, it will result in DAYS of relocation & configuration of all programs on my PC!  If you don't know the problem, tell (or do not).  If you KNOW what is really causing the problem and have a solution, I would be VERY grateful to hear from you.  Thank you.

I had this problem in my store with several client computers.

Scenario - IE browse websites ok. But when you try to manually run the updates of Windows, internet explore announcement that that the page cannot be displayed. The same also happens with Microsoft Updates.

I read a lot of discussion online, and many people do not yet have a solution.

Here's what I found... and every machine I have dealt with regard to this problem, in the last 4 months, have all had a rootkit virus infecting NETBT. SYS file in windows. Analysis tools more do not seem to pick up well. AVG, Malwarebytes, Norton... I know that these three would not pick it up.

Launch the latest Combofix it cleans well. If there is. And so far, I have managed to solve a good 6 computers by replacing the NETBT. SYS file.

So, if all else fails... check that. ;-)
