Cannot display Yahoo mail in Firefox 26.0

For several months, I was unable to see one of my Yahoo email accounts in Firefox. I found a thread where a user had trouble with pages of Yahoo, but any suggestions for a fix are things that I've tried. Uninstall, reinstall, clear caches, SafeMode... nothing works.

I can check my mails in IE, but doesn't like to use this browser for obvious reasons. All the other Yahoo features work. (News, weather, My Yahoo, sports, etc.). Someone suggested that switch to Gmail, but out of dislike Gmail, which would be a heck of a lot of work.

Have you tried a new profile?

I tried the usual bugs (opening FF in safe mode, disabling modules, clear the cache, etc.) without success.

  • With Yahoo Mail and Firefox 8.0, the display pane appears on the right instead of below as it does with other browsers. Please notify.

It started a few days ago. With Internet Explorer and Chrome, the reading pane appears below the Inbox. With Firefox, it appears in a narrow pane to the right of the Inbox.

The view pane if I click on a message replaces the Inbox in the right pane for me.

  • Login Yahoo mail says Firefox do not accept the cookies, but my option is as cookies - so what's the problem?

My wife and I can not connect to our Yahoo email accounts (or, I suppose, our Yahoo account). Whenever we try, we get the message: "the browser you're using refuses to sign in (cookies rejected).

However, my cookies in Firefox is: 1) accept cookies 2) accept cookies third party 3) keep cookies until they expire.

There are a few days, I changed the cookie settings for 1) accept third-party cookies) 2 do not accept cookies 3) ask each time. I've also removed a lot of cookies I does not recognize or didn't want to. I did this because I was (and still am) having problems with a redirect virus.

So if anyone has any suggestions as to what needs to make accessible e-mail still Yahoo, I would much appreciate their advice.

I thank everyone for their advice in advance.

    Thank you 1 million.

Hello gkerby1952, please try all the steps mentioned in the Web sites say cookies are blocked - pledge.

In addition, if you encounter problems with redirection adware, I would recommend removing the Slick saves 2.6 & SoundFrost 3.7.0 extensions you have installed currently. also, go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there and run a full scan of your system with the security software you have in place and various other tools such as the free version of malwarebytes & adwcleaner.

Remove a toolbar that has supported your Firefox or the homepage search
