  Your navig was fucking up like crazy since the last update. I had nothing else to connection problems in several sites. Sites would connect at random, then I wouldn'; t be able to reconnect.   Remove the Vista updates; two ways to do this:

  1. a System Restore to before the updates:

  Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > System Restore > restore time/choose your own date > next

  If you use Norton, disable it before using the system restore.

  If it is impossible to enter the Normal Mode, do a Safe Mode system restore:

  Press F8 at the startup/power and the list of startup options, use THE ARROW key to select Safe mode > and then press ENTER.

  System restore steps according to the info above.

  2. click on start > right click on computer > properties > Windows updates down the lower left corner > updates installed in the lower left corner in the next window

• Since the last update, cannot navigate a site by typing in the address bar

  Since the last update/installation of Firefox, is no longer allows navigation via typing in the address bar. Even if I type the whole address and press on enter or click on the "go to" arrow, nothing happens. I navigate to a website by Google it and following their clickable links.

  I am not n00b - clearly an error with the latest version, or an interaction/preset that gets in the way. I would appreciate ideas.

  The setting you make must persist until you change it again. The "default" is the last used printer.

• loss of functionality since the last update

  Since the last update of Mozilla a few days ago (Mac) I noticed at least 2 items that I used to use regularly lost features:

  1. used to be able to rearrange bookmarks by drag-and - drop (bookmarks-> show all bookmarks). Is no longer able to rearrange except manually and paste laboriously

  2. used to be able to click on download arrow in the toolbar to see the progress of downloads. Click no longer works. Now, cannot see download progress by (Tools-> downloads) pop-up menu.

  the advantage of this feature to scan https is at least questionable. in order to make it work, avast has sort of a man-in-the-middle 'attack' in order to access the contents of the encrypted connection (firefox supports a feature called pinning of key which can be used by Web sites to address these MITM attacks and who also seems to pick up interference from AVAST).

  Try to hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons at the same time for about 15 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. You won't lose anything.

  If that doesn't help, try a system restore. First save your device via iTunes. Also import your photos on your computer and copy all the data if possible.
