  Hello. I'm running a Dell Inspiron (2010, do not have the numerical values of product stored) with Windows 7 64 bit. I tried to move a prgram ovever in that I saved from a portable 03, happened very well, who also ran fine on a USB key and active through the computer its plugged. The prgram is a software of database for model called yard Office Trains, but that doesn't mean much.   If the update program does not run, you could try and do a scannow to check any file system errors. If this does not help, you may need to use a virtual program for older software to run.

  First of all, we run System File Checker to see if you have a corrupt file system.

  Click Start
  Type: CMD, according to the results, right-click CMD
  Click on "Run as Administrator"
  At the command prompt, type: sfc/scannow
