  It is possible that you have corrupted cache files; You can try to delete the cache folder and check if that helps. You can also temporarily disable your firewall and check if all of the parameters of the firewall is a cause. Better support for the effort, I'd say uninstall you the current Windows live Messenger and install the latest version (http://download.live.com/messenger)

  Yes, it's a real pain isn't. It's easy to kill (it worked for me):

  When Messenger opens upward, click the help button on the right (the one with the?)

  Add a check mark next to show the menu bar.

• cannot download all of windows live messenger

  When I go to download the new windows live messenger, so I can use it, it happens to almost 90%, then he starts backup, uninstall with no reason why.  I have windows xp, I tried to download windows essentials thinking that would solve my problem, but that no longer works.  I tried to remove MSN because I have is no longer and he won't.  I now have an email address as * address email is removed from the privacy * or * address email is removed from the privacy *, or * address email is removed from the privacy *.  Please help me solve this problem, because I really like to use the windows live messenger.  Thanks for any help you can give me.  Terry

• cannot access my original Windows Live Mail account

  I signed n additional Windows Live Hotmail, skydrive etc I thought that he would give a private e-mail account and added the private storage.  Now I can't access my original windows live account email... and that's where all my emails be sent to present so I need!

  Open Windows Live Mail and click on profile.  Then click on the button black options up next to the help option (not the options button in the profile) and then click More Options.  Click linked IDS.  Then click on link an Exlisting Live ID and follow the instructions to add your ID of origin linked to it.  There are some links on how to switch between accounts in Mange bound ID that you will see if you will have instructions on how to access your old account as well as your new account - or just after if you have problems doing but I think that it is relatively simple.

  When I go into my windows live messenger and try and open new emails I have in my inbox the screen indicates that the page can not be opened by default somewhere sometimes, if I put the back page it allows me to access, but most of the time I can't get anywhere near my box of e-mail or any other that is on this page. • Why can I not see pictures of facebook in windows live messenger?

  I connected my service of Facebook on my Windows Live Windows Live Messenger account.

  Updates are presented to me in the messenger window, it's just right. But the problem with me is that whenever I click on a photo (displayed in the window of time strong messenger), first a window saying "Loading album via Facebook" appears (which is normal) and then comes an error message saying "an unknown problem occurred, there was a problem launching the program.   I use Verizon as my IP and use Windows Mail as my email.  I was wondering if I could import my Windows Mail contacts in Windows Live Messenger contact lists?  I don't know even why I want to do but I know that somehow they were all on there before and earlier, there is no contact.  I tried to add them, but they won't add to my Windows Live Messenger account.
