  Try to leave LR, restart your computer and then restarting LR.  In other situations, which caused LR to forget the old drive letter.

  The left pane is a "choose one". "All photos" are just that. 'G' is a different option.

  Lightroom is not a file Explorer. He knows only the drives and files that you have imported the photos of. If LR shows not all of the photos that are on your hard drive, it is because you did not import all photos.

  First of all, try to open in safe mode:

  You need enable preview of thumbnails in the navigation pane.

  a. open the pictures folder by clicking the Start button, click photos.

  b. in the Navigation pane, click the folder that contains the images that you want to display.

  All images in this folder are displayed.

  c. click on the arrow next to the view button and then move the slider to change the size of thumbnails.

• In Thunderbird, I want to show a named Inbox for each account in the start menu, not only "Local Folders".

  I want a single Inbox for each account. i.e. explain "Hotmail" and the folder "Inbox" and "Cybernet1" and the "Inbox" folder, I have to search for each folder to show messages in that folder now and I prefer just to check the Inbox for each account. Jim

• Cannot get data author and the title for the pdf files display in the Explorer of Windows 7

  How can I get Windows 7 explore to display the author information and the title for the pdf files?  I can get columns to display for the author and the title of information, but they are empty and when I click it, I get the message "not specified."   I use Acrobat to create and read pdf files.  Pdf files, I create include the author and title information in the metadata, so I know the information are here. When I used Windows XP, I could hover over a pdf file and metadata would leap upward with the author and title, but Windows 7 does not display no information in the pop up more than Tpye/size/update even if the metadata author data and the title has been entered.
