Cannot insert an editable in < head > model DW region

I'm having two problems here:

(1) I can't insert an editable region my DW model region, precisely in the < head > < title > tag so that I can change the names of my pages that use this template. When I don't go to insert > model objects > editable region it falls automatically in the body tag. I am not sure, but I'm almost certain that I did it properly before, so that I could add flash to my site, but also changle titles.

(2) when I try to manually insert into the head of the document to help

1. This page has no doctype.  It should indeed.  Please add one that suits your ability with HTML.

"  Did you?  Or do you intend to never to return to this page in the Office?  I hope not.  I think you should do is to open the page in DW and use the FILE | Convert > HTML 4.01 Transitional, which will add the doctype and return thattag.

3. the page doesn't havetag - what is just an artifact of the copy?  If not, then one like this-<p class="reply"> <p class="reply"><!-- TemplateBeginEditable name="title" --><title>Untitled document

4. since it is a page template, you must add markup MODEL, not the INSTANCE tags (which are what you tried to do) (see #3 above).  So, to make this change.

Now, you'll have the normal two regions editable in the header of the document and add your title and all javascript behaviors desired for the child pages successfully.

A question that I find myself with however is "how the model has this way to begin with?  DW always inserts these two editable regions when you create a model.  Miss one or both is a major operator error.

    If you are using the term "model" loosen and not actually using 3 separate .dwt files...

    If you have designed 3 differently from the pages that you want to add the same element complex and then update this element later and have it change on the three pages, you can use a library item.

    Open your active window in window > assets

    Click the library item (open book)

    Click on the + button and type a name for your new item

    Add all the code of the element of the document and save it.

    In your originally designed page, drag active window library item to point your document where you want to go.

    From there out, you can update the library item by double clicking it in the components window, and will update any page on your site that use it.

    Cannot insert field or paste into the existing local Variable (Boolean container)...  TestStand 4.1.

    It is very strange, especially since I've done it before.

    'Paste' and "insert field" selections are grayed out and disabled in the context menu.  I tried everything I could imagine and tried various combinations of positions.  I'm sure it's something simple, bu redicoulously, I can't find the redicule to solve this annoying problem issue.

    The local variable is a container of Boolean.  It has 90 elements and I need to add one more.  I can not change / rename or do something with this Local.  Must be karma (for those who know me in the LabVIEW forum).  Usually, you do a right click, insert field and that's where...  Not this one...

    Anyone seen this before?  Closing and re-opening TestStand doesn't change anything.  There is a collection in LabVIEW that feeds the local section in TestStand.

    It is a container of data custm type.  To change flags are ok (edit is allowed).  Can't think of any other valuable information...

    It should be edited in the Data Types...  It was not automatic after reloading the prototype of LabVIEW.

    I knew it was something stupid that I didn't...  I became close... but had not sought far enough.

    I was looking at the range of Types, but not in the file of the sequence...

    I'm under EBS 11.5.10 with DB 10.2.0.4. I applied patch 7429271 following the steps described in the Doc id 233044.1.

    After restarting the application, I had one "node id does not exist for the current application" when forms started.

    After serving nodes (exec fnd_conc_clone.setup_clean) DNF, I ran successfully on the dbtier autoconfig but got the error below in the layer of apps.

    I also noticed that the content of my BCD file has been deleted and replaced by the model data (all values are by default). I tried to restore but it just had class written once again with default data.

    Hope my explanation was clear enough.

    Any suggestions?

    That gives me to think that a character is not printable (notice how there is anything between the quotation marks - "") worked his way in your PL/SQL Manager. Note how the error is reported to correspond to a column 74 on line 2, line 2 of the block above has 58 characters, so a pure assumption somehow, there is extra space on line 2, which confuses the PL/SQL compiler, I suggest retype PL/SQL Manager manually and see if that solves the problem.

    Is missing a value for the column ID of the insert statement. And a primary key cannot contain NULL values.

    If you have reviewed the file on the remote server and the code is in place, this is what will be sent to the browser. The fact that you have edited the child page outside of Dreamweaver makes no difference whatsoever. Dreamweaver template tags are simply HTML comments that start with InstanceBeginEditable or InstanceEndEditable. Dreamweaver uses comments internally to control what can or cannot be changed within Dreamweaver. According to browsers and web servers are concerned, they are simply comments that are ignored.

    It is possible that a proxy server is caching of your page. You could try renaming the page, download the renamed version and check that.

    The only other thing I can think is that you use a model of Business Catalyst. Business Catalyst is is more integrated with Dreamweaver CC 2015.

  • Cannot insert second element on the same page (DW CS3) lib

    Hi, I wonder to build a Web site with 53 pages. My client, most likely, will come with changes / desired additional pages in the future, so I thought that library items would be appropriate for navigation (correct? I am new to lib).

    After inserting a library (vertical menu with rollover images) item in a page, I would also like to use this type of nav horizontally at the top of the pages.

    However, DW (cs3) I cannot do. This is the message: "this change should change the code which is locked by a model or a translator. The changes will be ignored. " The parent page is not a template, just an ordinary new html page. I inserted the vertical nav lib in a div.

    I understand that it should be possible to insert multiple items lib in a page, what can be the problem here?

    I've not used models or elements of DW library for several years. I used to spend too much time finding my way around the editable and non-editable. They just got in my own way. SSIs are much easier to create and much, much easier to maintain.
