I downloaded the Acrobat Reader Installer (readerdc_en_ha_install). But after a double-tap, a white screen comes up none produces more.
After reading another discussion on a similar problem (Adobe Download Manager opens a blank screen and freezes. I can't install the new drive. Please help me), I tried to run the cleaning of Acrobat. But now Acrobat is uninstalled and I STILL have the problem.

I used to have installed on my pc Adobe Reader XI (11.0.10). I went for a few days, and when I logged on my pc I have installed Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. With this new software, I can't print my PDF now. When I try to print in the print area, I see all documents print, the rest is grey. When I press print it tells me that it cannot print the document because its now been selected. I have been on various forums, and no one can help me. I am at a total loss what to do. Can you help me please?
Sorry, I don't understand what you're trying to say ("' I see print all documents ', ' because it's now been selected" ").

I just installed Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on my Windows 7 computer and can't download a PDF from a government site. I was able to download the pdf of the year last of this site without any problems. How can I handle this?
The PDF Viewer for Firefox supports not only this type of form PDF (XFA) or any PDF form really. You must download the file and open it in Acrobat or Adobe Reader, and it will work. You can download the PDF file right click on this link and selecting "save target as".

Cannot install Adobe Acrobat 8 Standard
Cannot install Adobe Acrobat 8 Standard in the new computer with Windows 10. The Adobe installer rejects my serial number Adobe.
Hi jackw50666711,
Acrobat 8 is not compatible with Windows 10 so I'm not sure that it will work on a platform that is not supported.
However if Acrobat was purchased from Adobe, try to check the key to series using this link, find the serial number of your product Adobe quickly.
Part of Acrobat 8 of Creative Suite?

Portege R600-11b - cannot install Adobe Acrobat 9 - ActiveX problem
I recently bought a Portege R600-11b and have tried to install Adobe Acrobat 9 on it by downloading it from the Adobe site.
I spent many fruitless hours talk to Adobe to try to solve this problem. They concluded that my laptop is not compatible with the software.
This isn't the case, that this laptop exceeds the specification of systems required in all aspects. The problem seems to be that it won't work ActiveX even after all the firewalls and anti-virus in disabled - I don't know hardly what to do - anyone has any suggestions please?
> They concluded that my laptop is not compatible with the software.
That s just absurdThe Adobe Acrobat Reader software is a small application and can be installed on almost all computers and systems so that s certainly not a reason why you are not able to install this software.
If this problem is related to the ActiveX, then you can change this in the settings of your internet browser.
For example, using the IE7 you could modify this here:
Tools-> Internet Options-> areas-> {}-> ActiveX controls and plug - ins area-> allow unused ActiveX controls to run without promptYou can also try to clean the operating system and the registry because the problem might be related to faulty registry entries.
To do this, I would recommend using the free CCleaner tool. Finally and above all it s always advisable to consult the homepage of support from software manufacturers. Here you will find some documents on installation with the Adobe Acrobat Reader software problems.

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Firefox said that my plugin Adobe Acrobat was outdated, so I've updated. It uninstalled my Adobe Reader Version 11.0.12.18 and replaced it with Adobe Acrobat Reader Version 2015.008.20082 DC. I did not like this program, and more I read there are still bugs in there. I uninstalled the program and reinstalled Adobe Reader Version 11.0.12.18. I went into the menu of options of Firefox under applications and changed the options Adobe to use Adobe Reader as the default application for PDF files. It is a safe choice, or should I leave Firefox dictate what PDF program I use? I am concerned about safety issues. Any opinions?
I think that your question has been answered mainly in this thread: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1079182
In my opinion, you can trust Adobe to keep the series XI Reader updated for awhile. It is completely safe is impossible to know, given that vulnerabilities are often discovered and kept secret.
