  CFS 2 will run on Win7. I installed it on Win7 64 bit.
  I haven't used compatibility but XP sp2 would be the best option.
  To select a compatibility mode R/click on the shortcut of the games and click on properties.
  Then click on the Compatibility tab.
  It may work better if you install using compatibility mode. To do this open the games install
  disk, and then use the Setup.exe to put in compatibility mode before installing.

  It could also be a permissions problem. Check the "Run as administrator..." option on the Compatibility tab.
  I avoid permissions issues when installing do not play to the default location - Program Files (x 86).

  You have installed all the 'important' Windows updates?

  If the game is not compatible with windows 7, as suggested by compatibility diagnosis then the only remaining option is to switch to other versions of Combat Flight Simulator, which is compatible with Windows 7.

• Combat Flight Simulator 3 will not drive install

  The drive, which I bought, Combat Flight Simulator 3, cannot be read by my computer, 3 XP, Windows 8.  I tried different ways to install this drive, but all without success.  Microsoft Diagnostics can not read or the other.  As far as I can check my computer has all the requirements for this game, but I didn't even get an error message.  Various ways to install just to bring the error message, insert the disk when the disk is already in the drive.  I have a funny feeling that the disc is a complete space, that I have been ripped off by the seller.  If this is the case, then I'll send the disk to Microsoft (very) and ask them to investigate the seller.  Comments, please.

• Unable to run the original version of Combat flight simulator in Windows Vista

  I am trying to run the original 1998 version of combat flight simulator in vista. I've run it no problem in xp. The program installs OK and works OK, but does not have a joystick. I can calibrate the joystick in the program, but not actually control anything. I installed Flight Simulator 98 and had exactly the same problem. Both programs ran perfectly under xp. I realize has the latest versions will work more than likely OK, but for the moment cannot afford to replace my existing one.

  Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator WWII has been supported up to Windows XP. It will be not flat on Windows 7.

  I have the Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 2 WWII Pacific Theater that plays a lot on Windows 7.

  Could someone help me please I have developed a problem with my CFS3 and the addons when I double click on icons and it comes at the start screen, I get the message that there is an issue that caused the program will stop working and what happens with all the addons it seems to touch anything related to bag 3 and ALL my other apps are working OK. I tried to reinstall CFS3 but whether available I even went to the system restore, but no joy, could someone help me on this, I suspect that it's files a.dll but it is what it is, whether it's the no CD crack I can't say.
