  I have a laptop G72.

  When I got it, the Synaptics touchpad will automatically deactivate when I plugged my USB mouse.

  What a great idea!

  I just had to format and reinstall WIndows 7 home, the recovery Partition provided.

  It was a nice, pain free procedure, except that my Touch Pad disable any more.

  I looked at most of the places I can think of and can't find any reference to it.

  Anyone know the magic Incantation?

  He could have a feature that was not in the pilot that you are running. You can remove this driver and reinstall the original driver that came with your computer by following the instructions provided below:

  Step 1. Click Start

  Step 2. Click on Control Panel

  Step 3. Click on Device Manager

  Step 4. Click on mouse and other pointing devices

  Step 5. Right-click on your mouse driver and select uninstall

  Step 6. Download and review the HP support document: use of the Recovery Manager to restore the software and drivers (Windows 7). To reinstall the drivers of your Trackpad originally shipped with your computer.

• Keyboard and touch pad stopped working on Satellite L750

  My laptop L750 keyboard and touch pad stopped working on start up. I now use a USB mouse and on-screen keyboard to do anything either. I have tried several things to fix, but nothing seems to work.

  I've updated keyboard drivers, tried related work key, updated and run antivirus software and restored to a point in time before the show. Still no luck.

  With regard to the problem of keyboard:

  From my point of view of the few sounds of keyboard described as a material problem internal related dysfunction... probably in order to solve this problem, the keyboard should be replaced... just to make sure that your internal keyboard is affected, please join the external USB keyboard and check if it works properly.
  If you see any problems, the problem is no doubt by a malfunctioning internal keyboard and as mentioned earlier, you will need to replace the keyboard.

  Regarding the touchpad:

  I'm not sure if the two issues are interrelated, but the touchpad can be disabled by using the function keys... I recommend you to check this... (function key details are also in the user manual)... you can also try reinstalling the touchpad drive.

  Tip: this forum contains many discussions about similar problems... so I recommend you to read the recommendations posted in this community.

• Yoga 3 Pro Touch Pad works only with Win10

  This alluded autour in several other YOGA Pro 3 WIN 10 upgrades, but it should probably start splitting on each particular issue.

  My upgrade to Win10 without any problem on the upgrade itself. I did the upgrade with an attached mouse and now I no longer a switch back to the use of the touch pad. Another way of saying this is that my Fn + delete button doesn't work.

  I checked Synaptics for a driver, but they don't list one for Win10.

  A know a work around to get the touchpad working again or a suggestion to fix?

  The installation of touchpad are normally activated by the Fn + F9 key making to toggle the touchpad on and outside.

  1.) of course the 3rd party mouse driver could be a reason for a loss of Touch and Go system tray icon. If you wish, you can use the system restore which is part of the Win Xp operating system. This procedure should push you old driver and utility.

  (2.) trying to update the TV tuner driver. The latest version is 1.0.32.50526

• MacBook Pro swollen battery and touch pad don't slam

  My 2011 MacBook Pro has been inactive for 3 months and when I put it in the service of the touch pad will not work correctly.

  After finding the empty battery, I loaded for several hours and it took the charge.  3 days later, the load is always good.  the problem is that, while the cursor moves easily, the touchscreen function (enter) will not work.  The pad seems to be a little swollen as well.

  I was in a harsh climate in Saudi Arabia for a year and had a few touch pad issues with swelling of the battery.  When I returned in North America the problem disappeared.  Now the problem is back.

  The touchpad is controlled by the properties of the mouse (in the directional pad) where there is a tab "HP Control Zone settings" and 2 "buttons":

  1 activate the area of control HP and 2. Disable the HP control area

  There is also a section of icon of the window that allows a system tray icon which is a shortcut to get to the ability to turn on/off
