• Trouble installing CS5 Design Premium - please help a novice!

  It is almost impossible for me, someone who is new to MAC in general, to understand what is happening with my system. But I learned a little through online searches and the suppory community. Ultimately no part of the entire program was already installed on my computer. Is there someone you could ask to help me. I have problems of the research on the specific error code, which I believe is where I find my answer. Most of the information I could dig up is outdated, dating back many years and does not apply (unless I'm missing something).

  I'll also post this information to the community and you send another link (updated). If you could pass it on to someone who could help me to analyze the logs... Errors, I would be grateful. My work pile up!

  Support I was called last night and offered little assistance and asked me nothing about my system or errors that occurred, telling me that the problem I feel is caused by the server updated adobe plug-ins for only support CS6 essentially making obsolete the CS5. I find this hard to believe since my fiance just to install the other licence (I bought 2 licenses) successfully, the first test, only 2 weeks ago. I tried to install on my system since then, nothing helps.

  
  

  First that I want to point out that I had the trial version CS3 and CS4 trial version on my system before and I can't have uninstalled a couple of them correctly.

  NOTE: In the window to install CS5 Design Premium, InDesign is not supported so I unchecked that install the rest of the programs and also tried to install only the CS5 Adobe Photoshop only. Had the same error in the installation window.

  32-bit (which tells me CS5 auto adjusts the 64 bit suggested)

  I ran a cleaner utility, tried installation at startup. And get the same results, nothing installs and the same error message... ERROR: failed to update driver data. The driver entry has not been added. ARP estimated size 3726KB

  Gratefulbear the ~ indicates that you look at the files in the user //Library/Logs folder.

  To access your library of root, file, complete the following steps:

  1. Go to the Finder
  2. Use the Go menu and select folder.
  3. Type of/Library/Logs/Adobe/Installers

  This should then, open the folder library/logs/Adobe.  Please see Troubleshooting with the Setup logs.   I have a new iMac and downloaded Adobe Creative Suite Design Premium 4, which has been improved on my old iMac v.3.3.  When I start a trial of v.4 as suggested and ask for a version permanent by putting my serial number v.4, v.4 is downloaded. But, when I try to open the Photoshop application, I get a screen that says I have to put in the serial number for CS3 CS4 has been upgraded since then.  When I entered my serial number for CS3, Adobe indicates that the number is not valid and won't let me use the app HELP!

  Thank you for your help.  I solved the problem.  When I went back to look at the awkward screen, I found that I had chosen the right product. I then chose the right product and of course the problem has been resolved.

  We cannot replace CS5 Design Premium with a newer version at the moment.

  We bought the version we have at or shortly before November 2012.

  Kaspersky Total Security alerts us that there are 15 vulnerabilities, in Illustrator, Flash, Java (TM) Platform SE binary and InDesign.  The versions are:

  We have already tried to download AdobeInCopy7_0_3_Patch - All.zip and AdobeInDesign7_0_3_Patch - All.zip.  One of them advised us to update ApplicationManager8.0_all.exe, but we can not install successfully, and none of the other two sets in, either.  At this time, we gave to try to update our CS5 programs ourselves.

  I am Professor in a french University (University of Nice - Polytech Nice Sophia Antipolis) and I re - install CS5 Design premium. I managed with the fisrt and 2 DVDs, but I failed with Acrobat 9 PRO (9.0.3).

  I found the serial number for the part 1 (Photoshop, illustrator...) but we have lost the serial number for acrobat for Acrobat. I have yet the CD build date and the CD part number.

  Can you help me with my serial number for Acrobat 9.0.3?

• I'm having a problem downloading my CS5 Design Premium Suite

  Recently I had to send my MacBook Pro to recover my files and reinstall my boot drive. In doing so, I lost my previously installed CS5 Design Premium Suite. I tried to download the product from my Adobe account and every time I get an error with the disc image, saying that it is damaged even if have downloaded successfully. I tried downloading Firefox and Internet Explorer. Is there a way for a person to return my Design Suite?

  I could solve the problem by creating a USB bootable from the downloaded file. DMG file (which is still too too complicated).

  In disk utility, add a USB and delete all content. Once this is done, you can double-click on the dmg to mount the adobe files. From there, you can return to the disk utility, and go into the second part of the now deleted USB (probably without title if you don't rename). Click on restore and select the CD to restore from (I'm on El Capitan beta, a few different stages so that it is). It takes a bit to restore, but once it's done, you can launch the installation of the usb now.

  Surprised, I can install both CS4 and CS5.5 downloads, simply not CS5, which is what leads me to believe that the file is buggy if it is not started from a disk.
