  I cannot install extensions, they appear with "will be installed after you restart Firefox" even after that I restarted.

  The 'Intermediary' folder is present and rest after a restart, but the extensions do not get installed. They show in the extensions page with the message "will be installed after you restart Firefox" and remain like that, no matter how many times I restart.

  P.S. Just tried to install the add-on "convenience store" before asking the question and I got an error saying that it cannot install because it cannot change the necessary file. (I did manually instead)

  I tried to delete the files extensions.* nothing works. However, I deleted the addons.sqlite file and restarted my computer (computer not only Firefox) and that seemed to do the trick. Problem solved.

  Problem solved but not in this way. I explain:

  I followed the instructions but has not been placed to find the log files in mac/library/logs/adobe, so it's a problem I think because I have reproduced on an external hard drive CD photoshop by my MacBookpro and can transfer the duplication on my Imac, so were the problems. As I have a serial number stored in my Adobe account, I went here:

  http://www.Adobe.com/downloads/other-downloads.html

  so here are:

  https://helpx.Adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/CS6-product-downloads.html

  and then I clicked on the English on the CS6 version, download the product, install with my serial number.

  I checked, it works.

  I still don't know why it did not work, but maybe this information will be useful.

  Hi Jamie, you are on the right track, but if you have problems to access the CS6 direct links, then try downloading using another browser web, computer or Internet connection...  Avoid wireless or Wi - Fi as it may be slower and less reliable than a wired connection.

  There is no difference between the trial version and the full version except for the number of days of use.

  Trial version is a fully functional software that contains all the features and is good for only 30 days usage.

  The cs3 extension manager is on your disk for cs3.

  You can also try right clicking on the extensions Manager in the start menu and select "run as Administrator".

  I am trying to install an extension, but a message pops up saying that Firefox prevented me from moving it. I'm going to the addon website and try to install from there, but I get another message saying Firefox "cannot change the necessary file. I think I know what it is - the extensions folder in my profile, it's all the 'access denied' - NOTHING I could move I tried through the Security tab, but everything he tells me it is that I need read permissions.
