Cannot install Lightroom 6 (not CC) on iMac 5K with 10.11.3

Hello

I just bought and downloaded Lightroom 6 LS11 (not CC) in the Adobe store. When I start the install.app this appears:

Adobe-Installationsprogramm.jpg

Installation program cannot be initialized. The security settings on my iMac 5K with 10.11.3 allow installations from anywhere.

What should I do here?

Thank you for your comments

Bernd

Please follow the steps below to delete every thing related to creative cloud of the machine:

  • Please check if you have installed browser security extensions, please disable them. (For example: AD BLOCK, Advisor to Mcafee website, toolbar of internet security etc.)
  • Disable the firewall of your machine, see OS x: about the application firewall - Apple Support
  • Turn off the firewall of the security program installed on the computer Internet.
  • Go to: Apple icon > system preferences > Security & Privacy > General > "allow applications downloaded on" change this anywhere (to make these changes click the padlock in the corner at the bottom left of this window and enter your computer password)

The changes are temporary you can restore these changes once the installation is complete, as this might be one of the reasons why the app is not installed *.

1-force Quit the sub process in the same sequence as shown below from Activity Monitor: see, use the monitor activity on your Mac - Apple Support

  • Creative cloud
  • Basic timing & sync to basic support
  • CC library & process CCX
  • Adobe Common Desktop
  • Adobe update daemon
  • Broker CIB Adobe
  • After that, everything that said adobe on it do a force quit for her

2-go to: Finder > Applications > utilities > Adobe installer > uninstall Adobe Creative cloud (if problems uninstall Trash)

3-go to: Finder > Applications > utilities > (delete these two folders - creative cloud Adobe and Adobe Application Manager)

4. then run the cleanup tool to remove the clouds creative and Adobe Application Manager (if it remains in the machine)

5 right-click on the icon in the Finder, then select 'Go - To' folder.

6. you will get a text box, type in the following command and then press 'return '. ("Not to be missed ~ symbol")

~/Library (It will open the folder of the user's library.)

7. browse to the Application Support > Adobe > OOBE folder and folder AAM Updater so trash

8. new > right click on the Finder icon and select 'Go-' the folder option > you will get a text box, type in the following command and then press the 'return '.

/ library (It will open the library system folder.)

9. browse to the Application Support > Adobe > trash folder OOBE and Adobe Application Manager / after that, rename the SL-STORE like SL-STORE_OLD

Adobe 10 - run cleanup tool. > If present, select "Adobe Application Manager for Mac OS X 10.6" and then click "Clean up selected."

http://download.Macromedia.com/SupportTools/cleaner/Mac/AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.dmg

11. after that, follow the steps in the SOLUTION 3 in the following document to fix the file HOSTS: applications of Adobe Creative Cloud reverts after 2015 updated CC test

12 - Click on the link below and download Creative Cloud Installer file and use them to install the creative Cloud Desktop application.

  • I cannot install lightroom, it does give me an option to enter my serial number.

Hi everyone, hoping someone can help me. I have this version of lightroom 4 is installed on my iMac and had no problem putting it on. I just tried to install it on my macbook, and it doesn't seem to do it. Whenever I want to install it, it says installation complete, so I'm going to open it and the process is repeated. I never actually do the program on my device and therefore cannot put my serial number in access.

It's getting frustrating now, and I need to use it. No on the cat seems to have ideas.

    Thank you

I really think you are by clicking on the icon of evil. The icon to start the program is different from the one that you used to install Lightroom. Go to your applications folder and find the program Lightroom and double click on it from there and see if it will start.

  • Cannot install LightRoom 2.0 after using the 2.3 trial

Hi all, I have an iMac Intel 2.16 GHz with 3 GB of ram running OSX 10.5.6.

I tried the LightRoom 2.3 demo I downloaded from the site of Adobe LightRoom. I recently took a disk version of LightRoom 2.0. Before installing version 2.0, I removed LightRoom version 2.3 of my computer.

When I try to install LightRoom 2.0 from the disc, I get a message from the installer that says that my version of LightRoom can not be installed because there is a new version of LightRoom is already installed.

I deleted all the files from my computer I can find related to LightRoom, but I can not install my Lightroom version 2.0 from the disk. I still get the same message that there is a new version of LightRoom is already installed.

What can I do to get LightRoom 2.0 to install on my iMac?

Thanks for any help that might come my way.

There is a compatibility issue that you mentioned, you have a 32-BIT OS and Lightroom CC requires the 64-BIT operating system. Please check the system requirements for Photoshop Lightroom for Mac OS and Windows.

  • Cannot install Lightroom

I downloaded Lightroom, but whenever I click on it to install it, absolutely nothing happens. I tried several times. No indication as to why this is happening?

5 Lightroom does not support Windows Vista. It requires at least Microsoft® Windows® 7 with Service Pack 1 or Windows 8.

Please check the system requirements for reference.

  • Cannot install lightroom 3.6 2753 error code

Had problems with my computer today (windows 7 64 bit) has finally managed to get a restore point which would access the machine windows and all programs (including Photoshop CS5) did not work except lightroom 3.6. I was not able to have the Windows Installer UN remove lightroom, so I had to go and do it manually. I downloaded another copy of Adobe. When I try to install, I get the error code 2753. The file Lightroom.exe is not marked for installation. I checked the FAQ and it there was only one reference to this code, but it refers to the installation of the lightroom 2.0 software. I have re-installed lightroom 2.6 without any problem and I tried to install the 3.6 software after installation of version 2.6. I had no chance to get the error code 2753.  When I installed initially version 3.6 on 12/4 there is no questions and software worked without any problems. Any ideas / suggestions? Thank you.

Hello Jeff, thanks for the reply. What happened was when I was working inside one of these balloon messages popped up by the remark of a hardware driver does not Lightroom or missing, I really did not pay attention to be honest, I thought that it could have something to do with the download of files on the card compact flash. After you download the files in lightroom, I turned off the machine. Later, when I came back to work on the files of the machine wouldn't boot into windows 7 instead a kind of chkdsk utility launched, after he finished to check the disc, it gave me the opportunity to go to a previous restore point, the first time, that he did not. On the second try with a different restore point selected, I was able to raise Windows. Everything worked except for the lightroom software. After execution of Registry Reviver and also optimize the registry I still was unable to get lightroom to work.

I decided to download another copy and re-install. Well the first problem encountered was not able to uninstall the software from the Control Panel utility so I tried to install the software without the old software is removed, this is the first time I got the error code 2753. I checked adobe.com FAQ page and the only mention about this code was referring to the version 2.X. I tried the procedures it anyway. Still without success with the error code 2753 yet to come. I then decided to remove the software manually from the computer (Windows only, not going through BACK or regedit). Yet once, I ran Software Registry Reviver and tried to install the software again without success yet.

Finally, I decided to google the error code 2753 and consider what was actually happening. Part of the instructions to clear the code required me to download some software that microsoft created (msicuu2) that would force remove the software lightroom on my machine (it was still showing in the control panel uninstall even if I took it from the program file in windows). Once again, I have run Registry Reviver and optimized the registry, rebooted the machine gave him another chance and this time I got success.

I am pleased to announce that Lightroom works without any problem. I can't say with certainty what caused the problem initially for all I know it could just be a case of syndrome of HS.

I have taken note of your response about the stability, I'll pay more attention for now to see if there is a repeat of this unit or a similar problem and then address it right here. I would like to mention that I did not lose all the photo files or have files corrupted due to this problem... so I think a windows problem that you referred to in your answer that it is a problem of Lightroom.

How can I install windows xp on that laptop! ???

Most tried to make a version of win xp with drivers with nlite sata, but it did not work!

    Hello

I recommend the other discussions of the forum on the same topic.
    Found this one for example:
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=26040

You need to install the Intel Matrix storage manager before proceeding with the installation of XP.
As the user above has already suggested the program called nLite can be useful to integrate the necessary driver for the XP CD.

  • Cannot install the update on server 2012R2 Manager - fails with Visual Studio 2005 error.

I searched google, tried everything I can find online and you simply cannot install Update Manager on the server 2012R2.

Yes, .NET 3.5 and 4.5 are installed. Am I missing something here?

Extract you the vCenter all server, or that the file Update Manager installation image? If you check out the picture of the installation, please do and launch the installation of the update from the appropriate subdirectory Manager.
