  Got a new new ML350 G6 and I am unable to install vSphere 4 on it.  I get to the part where it starts to copy the files and I get the following message.  See attached screenshot: anyone know what this could be?

  My first guess would be a corrupted/cdrom image.

  Check the MD5Sum of download itself (it must be on the correct site) as well as on your CDROM after you burn it.  Most likely, it is the CDROM that is the problem, then try burning again.

  nested support 64 bit on ESXi running on top on workstaiton is not supported. you are better off creating this virtual machine as a virtual machine on my computer...

  I put t have much experience using this drive package SCCM, but it is certainly compatible with professional Toshiba laptops. The Satellite / Portege Z930 belong to the range of the company, and I think that the package must be compatible.

  By the way: The Win 8.1 installation requires the UEFI mode (in which case the UEFI BIOS is available). But the start of another external source requires the secure boot disabled option.
  Then maybe you should use the UEFI mode but must clear the safe boot option to boot from LAN.

  1 is it possible have two installations of Mac OS X or your upgrade is not yet complete. Please check the about this Mac and confirm.

  2 has been upgraded to El Capitan made using the App Store?

  3. you have more than one boot disk for your Mac?

  4. you can always re - run the upgrade of El Capitan, which will be re-install/update the missing files.

  5. What is the name of the .exe file that you can download? What is the source?

  6. If possible, use a USB2 flash drive. USB3 drives can cause problems.

  I'm totally new to virtualization. We are trying to install the VSphere Essentials on a new server (HP DL380 G7 no. OS instatlled). We downloaded the ISO and used 4 different programs to burn it to a dvd. When you start the server tell us to start on the DVD player. It tries and then says that the inserted media is not bootable. Are there secrets to do this? The version we downloaded was VMware-VIMSetup-all - 4.1.0 - 345042.iso, we used Ultra-ISO, Power ISO, CD Burner XP and Free Easy Burner. They all meet the same result. I'm sure it's something simple, but I can't seem to boot and install. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Welcome to the community,

  What to install on the physical host computer's ESX or ESXi (recommended). ISO you've burned contains the vCenter Server installation, which must be installed on a Windows Server.

  Use the VMware-VMvisor-Installer - 4.1.0.update1 - 348481.x86_64.iso on a CD and it will work.

  We had a few reports that the disk of the server Snow Leopard 10.6.3 triggers a problem with merging and direct access to the physical disk.  If they send 10.6.3 media for this crazy business of $20, I suspect we'll see more of these problems...

  You should be able to work around it using disk utility on your host to make an image of Mac OS X install disk, and then attach the disk image of the virtual machine and install by whom.  (When you use disk utility, make sure that you select the drive of optical disc as the source of the image, not the media named "Mac OS X Server".)  If you picture the bad thing, your VM won't boot past the Apple logo.)

  Hello Diramos,

  That is a difficult question because OMSA stopped supporting older systems of the gen 8 back to 6.x what OMSA 6.5 works with 8 Gen but most customers will find the more stable 5.5 with 8 gen systems.  Now, the other problem is that Sever 2012 is not listed as an operating system supported for Dell 8th gen systems either.  Obviously, it works, since you have it installed, but you may encounter compatibility problems.  Particularly like this this is not a systems management configuration that will work well.
