  • Two computers (Win7), a homegroup. Why second computer cannot join the homegroup?

I have two new laptops, in the two running Win7.  Computer laptop 1 runs 64 bit.  Laptop 2 runs 32 bit.  CradlePoint router used to set up a network home.  Both computers show as being on the host of the CTR network.

Set up a homegroup on 1 laptop.
Laptop computer 2 "joined".  Laptop 2 could see and read the files from the laptop 1.  Computer laptop 1 could NOT see cell phone 2.

Restart both computers.  Same problem (portable 2 is invisible for 1 laptop, if 1 cell is visible for laptop 2).

Computer laptop 1 has left the homegroup, intending to join in an attempt to solve the problem.  Now, when 1 laptop computer attempts to join the network, the message is: "There are currently no homegroup on the network", with the offer of "create a homegroup."

Laptop 2 shows that there is clearly a homegroup, and he joined.

What should I do to join the existing laptop 1 to the homegroup?
This could possibly be linked to the 64 bit OS?  Can't imagine it would, but I'm at a complete loss here!

  • Cannot join the homegroup

I have two computers windows 7. One is a desktop computer and one is a laptop. I have a printer connected to my desktop computer. I'm trying to implement a homegroup on my desktop, so I can print from the files from my laptop and my desktop on my laptop access.

    I use AT & T as ISP and received a 2WIRE router/gateway to AT & T (Uverse).

I access Internet through a wired connection from my desktop to the router/gateway and I have access to the Internet via a wireless connection from my laptop to the router/gateway.

I have the driver for my printer on both computers.

I created a homegroup on my desktop computer. I have received and printed the password of the residential group created on the desktop.

When I on my laptop, I don't get the screen asking to join the home group. The screen I received looks like the screen that allows me to create a home on my lap top group.

I want the House Group to set up on my office and share with my laptop.

I spent reviewing the documents on the Internet to diagnose the problem without success.

I don't think that my lap top using the correct network to find the homegroup (just a guess). I need to be able to connect but computers to the Internet without degradation of the service.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • Cannot join the homegroup to the second computer in the network.

I've recently updated my desktop pc and laptop with windows 7.  The office is a s 530 Dell Inspiron and the laptop is a Dell Inspiron 15.  The Office has managed to create a homegroup in windows 7, but I can't get the laptop to join.  I ran the wizard of troubleshooting many times without success.  Sharing files between computers is available, I can't just join the homegroup.  I have read several forums about ipv6, and although it shows that IPv6 is enabled, the status shows no network access.  I tried to leave the homegroup, stop and begin another without success as well.  Router is a Belkin N1 Vision 802.11n.  I can follow directions very well, but I'm not a genius with this stuff.  If there is something that I should be more specific, please let me know.  I'm going crazy here.

OK, that was my answer.  I have connected the laptop in the server and was immediately allowed to join the homegroup.  Once the initial installation has been made, I can now access homegroup wireless on the network without any problems.  I don't know why I had to connect using ethernet to set up.  New bug in the OS, I guess.  Thanks for the help.

  • DNS question... Help, please. Cannot join the client to the domain.

I played with workstation 10 for about a day now.

I'm pretty green when it comes to the DNS configuration. The reason for it, for the experience.

I created a Virtual Server R2 of 2012 and a VM 7 Win machine. I'm trying to join the VM 7 Win the field laboratory.
I've already promoted the server to be a domain controller.

    The error I get is:

An attempt to resolve the DNS of a domain controller in the domain being joined has failed. Please check that this client is set to reach a DNS server that can resolve DNS names in the target domain.

Not sure what is the cause.

In the IPV4 properties, I changed the DNS server to use the IP address of the domain controller that I read but still no luck.

Also how can I set up the network for the VM?

    Thank you

    Jason

Come on come on client machine Winodows 7 > network and sharing Center > adapter set it > right click Local area connection and click Properties

    Double-click PTC/IPv4

In the preferred DNS server, type the IP Address of the domain controller and see if that helps the problem.

Also check if the firewall is blocking communication. Disable the firewall and check.

  • View 5 error 18 cannot join the domain with parent vm win7

I have installed our software required, the agent installed, the parent has added to the domain and when I go to create the pool I finally get the 18 error saying that it was impossible to join the computer to the domain. If I look in the current directory on our server, 2003 sbs, it shows that the machine is there, but when I try to connect to the console under vsphere, I get the error that says "the security on the server database has no infographic account for this workstation trust relationship." I see a lot of fixes for this but those who tend to treat images of windows xp.

Also, I advanced and tried to create the registry entry for the "NeutralizeNT4Emulator" who did not work as well as manually configure the default gateway and the dns server.

Should I disable the firewall on our virtual machines of parent service? I tried without success either, but I thought I'd ask.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

This may be due to the incompatible version of composer, see Composer 2.6 is not compatible with the view Agent 5.0. Refer to this http://kb.vmware.com/kb/2006879 KB

  • Oh boy... Would physical left and P2V-cannot join the domain

    Hello

I was basically testing function P2V and I left the physical server. No I want to regularize and actually use my PHYSICAL server - but I can't join the domain - I am tired to the subject he take off the field and put it back on. All the tips are greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

When the two systems, the virtual and the physical, appear on the network with the eID of sam, it is possible that one of them will change the password secure between the domain member server and the domain controller. If the other is out of the game.

As you say, he join the domain.

  • Cannot connect to Mozilla Support. It does not accept my user name or password. Reset password email says that my account is already activated.

Tried to access the Forums of Support of Mozilla for Firefox Desktop Support, I've used several times. He cannot accept that my user name and password, claiming that they were incorrect. I tried the password reset function, which opened a window saying that accounts created before December 2010 may have connection problems. Reset your password below. It tells me to enter my e-mail address so that it can send me the instructions for setting up a new password. I get my e-mail address. It is said that we have sent an email to any account using this address. Please follow the link in the email to reset your password. I go to my email. Nothing is there. I wait, but still nothing.

I return to the login page and click the link - I do not have a confirmation email - connection issues. A new window opens telling me to activate my account, I have to first of all confirm my email address. I enter my email address. I get an e-mail from Mozilla immediately, telling me that my account is already activated, and it gives me a link to connect. I click on this link. I get my login and my password again. Same error message denying me access and tells me to enter a correct username and password. I try twice with no success. Same mistakes repeated.

So I try to create a NEW account using a different user name my email address. It doesn't let me do. It is said that the email address is already taken, and it does not allow me to proceed. In the end, I had to set up a new account with an email address that I never use, just so that I could access the functions of the help. I'm exasperated. I don't want to post my Questions that I do not use and having to open another application to access even the e-mail address. I want to be able to receive a message from Mozilla in my daily e-mail normal, if someone has replied to my message. But as Mozilla doesn't let me use my e-mail address for the new account, I put in place, I can't do that.

It's very frustrating. Mozilla does allow me access to my original user account that has already been put in place with my preferred email address. And Mozilla will not let me create a new user account with my preferred email address. Now I'm stuck with a new user account which is linked to an email address that I never use and is not easily accessible to me. As a last resort, I access my new user account in the hope that it will allow me to change the email address associated with the account, but of course, this is not an option.

Can someone please help me access my original account with my login and my original password? If a password reset is necessary, then I should not receive an email response telling me that my account is already activated (see below). If it is checked, then why can't connect? What is going on? Please help me. Thank you.

It seems that your account has already been activated.

  • How to remove the Mozilla support account?

    Greetings,

Because I do not Support of Mozilla, I would like to delete my account, but it seems there is no option for this. So, I would ask the admin of this site to permanently delete my account.

If some time in the future, I decide to make a new account, I will. But for now, I would like to delete my current account.

I hope that my wish will be fulfilled.

PS Don't get me wrong, I always use Mozilla browser, but I would like to remove all the accounts that I don't use.

    Thank you
    Matija

    Matija,

As a moderator, I am able to disable your account immediately, but the actual process of deleting your account (anonymization all information) may take a week or two because of the heavy workload of Admins.

You want that I disable your account?

Note: I won't do anything on your account until I get a reply.

P.S. There is also a bug open for this. https://Bugzilla.Mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=726941
