Cannot open Acrobat User

I just installed Acrobat DC on a users machine. I'm able to run OK on my login (the domain admin account), but they are unable to open it to all (tried as a normal user and a local administrator).

Appearing in Manager program tasks for a second, then quits. I got it running on this connection before, but he would close Acrobat after having been open for 30 seconds.

The latest version of DC on a fully patched windows Pro laptop running 7.

It seems to me, at least, to have found a solution for work this week of. A step by step guide for help people getting only the error message that I posted, here:

The second solution worked for me, as I was able (using the 8, installed by disk) to get a screen up to ask my serial number. I put that & voila!

Your thoughts make me nervous about this hard fix but I'll take what I can for now.

    There is not acrobat reader pro.  There is acrobat pro (costs money and you have a serial number) and adobe reader (free and no series number).

    assuming that you have acrobat pro, uninstall everything which is currently installed by using the adobe uninstaller program.

    then install properly using your serial number and the installation file.  also, you need allow unidentified publishers:

    Thank you once again, to try to help. Had to call Adobe and spend a few hours on the help line. Problem was two-fold: 1) my Webroot security software CCleaner have been set such as CC Office updates have been blocked. (2) many files, folders, and registry keys remained old Acrobat installation and were not deleted by the cleanup of Acrobat tool; they had to be found and remove it manually. What a pain! In any case, I'm now back operational.

    I recently bought a new computer with vista. Installed iTunes on this computer and found that there is a problem between the two profiles on the computer. I run iTunes on my profile - but whenever my wife profile is active we are getting consistent error messages indicating "cannot open the application"iTunes"as another user, he has opened."     I need to keep itunes open in my profile - and anyway, why are they bent them in two profiles in Vista... we never had this problem under XP.

    Find the Itunes.exe in the Itunes folder in Program Files.  Right click on the .exe / Properties / compatibility, look down at the bottom of this page for the 'privilege level' and check the box that says "change settings for all users.  In the heartbeat window according to the box that says "run this program as an administrator".  This can only solve your problem if you can both run under the same user name.

    When you run a program as an administrator you should get a quick UAC (unless maybe you have turned off UAC?

    To see the file extensions, you may need to go into Control Panel / folder Options / discovers, there you can uncheck "hide known file type.

    We start with a few questions-

    (1) is this problem limited to opening files on Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome?

    (2) you are able to open other files zip on the computer?

    (3) you have a program to open ZIP files installed on the computer?

    (4) you are able to open the same file on another computer (running the same version of the operating system)?

    (5) you get an error code?

    (6) do you have made further changes on the computer before the show?

    I would like more information about the issue.

    It is possible the file association by default to open this type of file is either corrupted or needs to be changed.

    Method 1-

    I would like that you try to open other files zip on the computer. Check if it helps.
