  I have a video that I'm working on, where I want to take 'partial images' clip and save to a separate file.

  I watched archiver project, which seems to want to save all the images in the video.

  I've seen suggestions to copy and save in a "new file", if I don't see where I create a new file. I can create a new folder.

  There must be a way to be able to copy and save parts of a video in one separate file other than deleting all the unwanted and save as a new project.

  Any ideas what I'm missing?

  If I understand correctly what you want to do, probably the best way to do is export, using the WAB (work area bar). You can set it for JUST the pictures you want, and then export to DV - AVI, or just what works best for your specific property. This will create a new file just AV section you set the WAB.

  It is an example of use of the WAB:

  

  This shows using the WAB to render just this article, but it works for export too. Just be sure to set the 'work area bar' and not the entire project.

  THM files are images representing your video files. As small icons. They are files or photo or a video that explains why they don't are not supported by Premiere Elements.

  The pictures on this camera are likely .jpg files. Video on low-end cameras like this can be forms of .avi or .mov.

  Recently, I read about Anti Virus 'on access Scan"have to interfere with Adobe Premiere Elements.
  Did you by chance 'on access Scan"feature enabled in your Antivirus software? If you do not have this option, could you try disabling it and verify that your problem is resolved.
