  I've recently upgraded to win 10 and now I have Lightroom CC opening every time I plug a USB key in my machine regardless of what is on the USB device. I tried to disable all the options in Lightroom without success and any internet help either gave no results. It is extremely boring and tedious since most of my USB devices have nothing to do with my photos!

  Follow these steps to try to solve your problems of boot.

   

  Restore point:

  Do Safe Mode system restore, if it is impossible to do in Normal Mode.

  Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

  Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

  At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

  When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

• I have a project with 5 large sequences.  4 render just fine, but crash of the 5th within windows 7 every time. I tried many variations. Advice on how to avoid this?

  One of the 5 sequences within a project blocks Windows 7 every time.  I tried to disable the GPU acceleration, isolate in a separate project, change the type of output media.

  Yes, Tech Support tried this.

  Is - this good new or bad news?  Technical support connected to my system and checked the crash, first roll back the driver to the base VGA, creating a new test project, and then activation made without GPU acceleration. None of this to avoid the accident.  They spent hours to make changes and finally exported an XML version of the sequence and imported to the test project and made without audio and GPU acceleration.  AND IT COMPLETED WITHOUT AN ACCIDENT!  The remaining problem? : output media does not match what I had edited first.

  So, I decided to make the component sequences separately and then replace them for references of the sequence in which failed.  It works very well and takes much less time.

  So, there you have it.  Simply pre-made component sequences.  This tip could have saved me a lot of time.  It is less flexible that the way in which the Prime Minister is supposed to work, but at least it doesn't crash. I applaud the Adobe Support for their efforts, but he was totally lost.  They have identified the software bug or gave me a workaround solution.

  I use Windows XP - don't know if it matters, I'm just using the paint program that comes with it.

  For example, I have a black and white drawing of a boy on the one hand and the fruits of the other side. When I opened the image the 1st time that I noticed it wasn't quite as sharp I want so I spent a few hours there cleaning so that I can use the fill tool and make a nice clean fill. I filled the boy and saved the image to finish later. When I opened the image later it was all pixelly yet, and the boy was more crispy there was no way I could just use the fill tool again and change the color of her clothes without all over again.

  I'm guessing it's a JPEG which is a lossy format. Whenever
  you edit and save a JPEG again he will lose resolution.

  1. Click Start, then Control Panel.

  2. click on default programs.

  3. click on program access and computer by default.

  4. click on custom.

  5. allow access to this program.

  Please let us know regarding when exactly this issue started while we offer a system restore when the computer was working fine, if this is really necessary. • Why force eject hard drive every time?

  I have a MacBook Pro laptop.  When it is on my desk, I have a lot of things, including a backup disk, plugged.

  When I want to take my phone away from my office, I have to disconnect these things.  But, before I unplug the FireWire cable to the backup drive, I always first to eject the disc.  Sometimes I have to wait for Time Machine to slow down, then comes the ejection.  It is the way it works for years.

  Then last November, I upgraded from 10.6.8 in 10.11.2.  Now, every time - EVERY TIME - I press the little icon in a Finder window to eject the backup disc, up displays an alert:

  

  "Force eject" still works and is now part of my routine.  But it doesn't seem fair.  What is causing this extra step?

  Only time Machine should use this disk.  With the Finder, I see nothing that does not part of complex database of time Machine.

  I have not received all the Time Machine messages; a cursory inspection of the backup seems good.

  I tried typing lsof in the Terminal and haven't seen any strange open files. :

  lsof $ | grep Volumes

  I even opened a file on my disk backup, just to test that my order of lsof works:

  Try disabling Time Machine. Then, restart your computer. Then see if you can try to eject the disc as usual. If you can, turn on Time Machine. Try to eject the disc again. This may solve your problem.

  I use adobe acrobat reader on a windows 7 Professional laptop (lenovo) dc.

  It's really annoying that every time I wanto to save a pdf file, it opens this additional window where I am asked to choose a carpet for the file. Then, there are 4 different mats, I have used it before and then opens the normal window where I can actually save the file. I just want to cancel the first step, because it takes so long if there's always a step more before the Save.

  You could uncheck 'Show online storage to save files' under ' Edit > Preferences > general.

  Click OK, and then restart your application.

  Can someone help me? I tried upgrading my laptop 4 times using windows update and every time it gets stuck.

  Every time the installation hangs at 83% complete across and 35% complete on the third phase, which if I remember correctly is something like "configure personal settings." I left running for hours, nothing happens and I have to go back to 8.1.

  I tried using the troubleshooting of windows update that actually claimed to correct the problem, but it alas it did not.

  Anyone know what is happening?
