Cannot open links in emails from any body

The error message is "this file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the bound control panel the value. If I copy paste the link in my browser it works, if I open my mail webmail provider the link works. I've uninstalled, repaired, and uninstalled the program several times. Nothing suits him? This problem is all the emails that I have rec'v, no just 1 source.

What email program are you using?

Reset IE as browser by default even if he says he's now.

  • Windows Mail - Can't delete emails from any box (Inbox, deleted items, items, etc...).

In October, my Windows Mail simply stop allowing me to remove anything.  I noticed it first in my Inbox, so I went to my "deleted items" empty to make (thinking that it was question) instead, but found that I could not delete individual emails or use the tool to empty folder.  Windows Mail doesn't allow me to delete ALL emails from ANY folder, so now I need to access my emails on the internet, but it's a pain that my address book is in position.

I googled solutions and tried a few corrections people recommended when they are unable to remove files from a single folder.  They don't solve anything.  I thought corrupted program so I would update and downloaded Windows Live Mail hoping to fix it, but same problem remains.

Error message when you try to delete individual reading by e-mail: "Message could not be deleted."  Error message when you exit the program: "certain elements in the"Deleted items"folder cannot be deleted.  An error has occurred. "Nothing specific, but ANY element of ANY folder can be deleted.

    Hello
I have disabled virus protection and were able to get into my box removed and delte the bad email.

    Thanks for the help

I would START by checking if your IE8 has all its flaws. Any time we're not able to open links in emails, the Internet Explorer problem, the majority of the time.

Start button > Default programs > Set Your Default programs > left side, select Internet Explorer...
He said "this program has all its defaults"?
If not, click on choose by default for this program > tick on each entry in the list > save

See if that solves all the problems you have.

P.S. Check with your shipper, see if your sender uses Microsoft Outlook. If so, ask your sender to go to the Format of the mail and select HTML.

  • Hi windows mail will open only 1 email from each file, i.e. Inbox, junk e-mail, sent, all folders, emails are always in the folders when I check properties I checked Show all messages

Hi windows mail open only 1 email from each file, i.e. Inbox, junk, sent mail, all of these files. summer's fine for 3 years. Show msgs is checked.i can see in the properties of the Inbox I have 70 messages they are there but only 1 will open I see msgs in orange webmail, they say no problem for this purpose. I can also see them in users email location.worried man help

Assuming that it is an email account POP3, go to the message store and see if the messages are really there.  They must be located under the directories for the folder names under the main directory of local folders in the message store.  The store is located under the Users\ [username] \AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail\ directory and is hidden, so first go to control panel | Folder options | View and uncheck Hide extensions of known file types (so you can distinguish the eml files which are messages) and check the option to show the hidden files and folders.  Then you can see if the messages are in fact always there or missing.  See here for background: www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx#wm and also here for what may have caused it: www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 as Bruce stated, if the messages are still on the server, you can set up your account again and then download them again.

  • Cannot open a PDF file from a link in another PDF file

Hello, I'm having a strange problem on some of adobe readers my users. (2 users on PC windows 8.1)

I created a "choser app' (see image below) which is essentially a 'choser from one easy page" for the different "forms", I created which worked perfectly until this week. Basically, there are 12 buttons and when the user press one of these buttons, the form chosen live / app opens that they can then fill out and send required title.

However the 2 users who have problems, cannot open forms at all. They click on the button, but nothing happens at all. Software Adobe reader fits all just not as there are links to all.

Choser 'app' works on all my PC users except 2, so I know it isn't an error in location or make updates etc... Someone at - it clues or ideas.

I tried to go into preferences - manager of trust - internet access from PDF files - change the settings - PDF allow to access Web sites... but this made no difference to all the.

    Thank you

    Sara

is not serious I fixed it. If anyone else is having the same problem, so I fixed it by doing the following:

    Enhanced - Security Edition-Preferences

Uncheck "enable protected at startup mode" - restart adobe reader software

Oddly, I had not to uncheck it on any of my other PC users (Windows 7 & 8.1), but was necessary for some reason any on those trouble with opening PDF links from the 'app PDF selector.
