  • Cannot open PDF files by e-mail more

I can't open PDF files in my Outlook email more.  My husband gets his colonies to work via e-mail and for 3 years now I have been open the colonies without problem.  This week, I can't open the file.  I get this error:

    Microsoft Word

A red x, then "Sorry there was a problem and we can't open the PDF if this product again try to open the PDF file in Microsoft Word"

Well, I thought it was always open in Word!  Anyway, it is not the drive.  I Sumatra and I can still open the other PDF files.  I even changed my readers just to check and get the same message.  I wrote to Outlook and they said it is not their problem and to post here in the Microsoft Community.  It's very frustrating because we need to see those files.  If she is not Outlook or the PDF reader, what could be the problem?  Thank you!

  • My co-workers on XP cannot open my files in Win 7.

I have upgraded to Win 7 (64 bit) for XP and my co-workers are still on XP (32 bit) and now they are unable to open the files of my project and access. Our IT Department States that it is a 64 vs 32 bit question and what I do I save my files to a later version.  I did it and it work from time to time but is not reliable.  What are my alternatives or the best way to solve this problem?

I regularly use my Windows 7 x 64 for Office 2007 Access [accdb], Excel & Word files that I then read on my WinXP Office 2007 without any problem.

Therefore, I would say that your problem could be linked to the difference in versions of Office you & your colleagues.  I think your first check should be to check your help to access for saving the files for use earlier versions of Access or similar.

You can get more help in the forum of the community of MS Office for your version of Office & theirs.

  • error LNK1181: cannot open input file "... \..." \.. \build\win\objR\PMRuntime.lib'

I have create a new Plugin.

    But happen error LNK1181: cannot open input file "... \..." \.. \build\win\objR\PMRuntime.lib'

    Why?

I looked at the project and have it fixed with success, but unfortunately I can't send that overall because of the way the project was sent initially. Most absolute paths are the paths used in the project file and that's your project needs changes to much space when focused on a new machine. I'll give you advice on how to solve your problem and how to improve the project is configured for better portability.

    How to solve your problem.

    1. Remove $(MODEL_PLUGIN_LINKLIST) from the list and it will work well for you. The wrong way is written in the sdk file attachments that are included in your file accessories
    2. After taking the first point, you will again have a binding error, to solve, it adds ASLSupport.lib to the additional dependencies in the section of the linker.

How to set up a project in a more portable way

    1. You should avoid using absolute in several locations paths, because when you move the project to another machine, you will need to change the paths to all these places
    2. Even using relative paths does not solve the issue properly, because in this case you must place the project from a location on each computer so that it works correctly. This is the reason why it was not $(MODEL_PLUGIN_LINKLIST) for you. The Adobe sdk samples use relative paths, so move the project so that by using their configuration fails if the relativeness of the road is not maintained
    3. In order to be totally portable, we should make use of macros and define them in one place. So that when you move the project, change the paths in this single file solves everything. An example of this is how you set the id_sdk_dir macro in your file attachments.

Hope these points help you to solve your problem and put in place the project in a better way.

  • Cannot open the file attachment

Whenever I try to open an attachment in a powerpoint file, I get the following error message - this file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the set association Control Panel

    • What email program are you using?
    • You have PowerPoint or viewer installed?
    • The attachment opens if you save it to your hard drive first?

    Possible corrections:

    R: create a file association.

    1. download and save the attachment to the office.
    2. right click on the saved file.
    3. Select: Open with on the shortcut menu.
    4. click on: choose [default] program.
    5. Select: PowerPoint (or the PowerPoint Viewer. Depending on what is installed).
    6. check: always use the selected program to open this type of file.
    7. click on OK.

This should allow you to open these attachments directly from email address now.

I am running Windows XP, MS office Outlook 2007

Is it a link in an e-mail message in Outlook? This problem arises from time to time.

While Firefox can usually set himself as the proper application to open the URL, you click in other programs, settings are sometimes blur or do not take. This article has tips to solve this problem: setting Firefox as the default browser does not work - what to do. Anything there help?

If the problem persists, is there something special about how you start Firefox? For example, you have this launch in a security 'sandbox' or virtual machine? You have all the command-line options set to allow several simultaneous sessions of Firefox, or call the Profile Manager? If none of this sounds familiar to you, the answer is probably not.

  • "Information MS cannot open this file. The file may be corrupt or incompatible with this version of the information system. »

    Original title:

    MS Info

I need to send a file Ms Info to Wb tech support so that they can help me with the game on steam download. Whenever they open the file it says it gives the following message "information MS cannot open this file. The file may be corrupt or incompatible with this version of the information system. "I tried to open it too and had the same error message how can I send a file not corrupted for them?

Information MS cannot open this file.

They should use Notepad to open the file when it is a txt file.

Another way to create a portable system information file is to select the hotkey Win + R, type msinfo32 , and press ENTER . Click file, Save and name the file. This method creates a file with an extension of nfo file. Perhaps the recipient expects the file in this format.

  • Cannot open dat files in windows 7

the operating system is windows 7 premium. Since its purchase, there has been no changes to the computer. This problem has occurred since the first day. We cannot open certain file extensions on the attachments sent to us, for most of the dat files. I searched on the net for most of the forums help ms and tried the recommended solutions, to no avail. This includes saving the file, try opening with another program or try to display the file extension. Is there a solution or a fix for this problem?

    Thanks for your help

These files are likely to senders using Outlook and format RTF owner of the bureau, which is unable to interpret other e-mail clients.  You must either install Outlook, or even to tell shippers to use plain text or HTML format messages, but not those in the RTF format as all attachments and such parts are not readable by other beneficiaries who do not have Outlook.

  • "Extraction failure: cannot open output file" error message when installing new drivers

Hello, I am trying to install new drivers for my HP Photosmart C4385 printer.  I downloaded the complete drivers of features for Windows XP 32-bit, and when I start to install (extract), I get the error message:

    Extraction failed

    Cannot open output file

And the process ends.  He arrived at about 85% extraction every time.

No idea why?  I called HP, but no longer under warranty they wanted money, which I think as absolutely ridiculous - not even give me basic support?  Poor, poor customer service.

    Hi GIJeff12,

    Temporarily disable any AntiVirus/Antispyware software.

Cut the installer on your desktop then click on the Start Menu, click computer, double-click on the C: drive and paste the installler here.  Now try a right click on the installer for your printer, choose 7-Zip and choose Extract the files, and then click Ok.  If the installation program extracts now correctly, follow these steps.  If it does not extract, let me know.

Disconnect your printer from the PC.  Restart your PC.

Open the newly extracted folder and double-click the setup application to start the installation (the installation application will probably have the same icon as the original installation software that you downloaded).  Connect the printer to your computer when you are asked.

If it was a success, re - enable your security software.

    Best wishes

If you see the file Readme VISA 15, you'll see that Visual Studio 2005 is not supported. It seems that the most recent version of VISA that supports VS 2005 is Version 5.2 for c# / VB.NET and 5.0.2 for MFC C++ (with Measurement Studio 2009).
