• cannot open programs by right click and run as administrator

  had a virus earlier today, I think it was the security of windows one... anyway I got rid of it with malwarebytes and restarted my computer. now, for some reason, I can't run programs without going through a right-click and run as an administrator.

  (At all costs, do NOT click on anything in Format, deletion or Partition name.) So even do a custom installation, your personal files are still kept. Click OK

  The installation program will now begin installation. During installation, your computer will be restarted several times.

  Once the installation is complete, you can complete the Out of Box experience as the choice of your laptop, create a username, password, your time zone. You can then proceed to download the latest updates for Windows and reinstall your applications and drivers.

  I just noticed that I can not access the internet directly by clicking on the icon. a window opens asking for me to choose the program I want to use to open IE.  He would then run the program but nothing happens and it goes in circles asking to select a program to open, run, etc.

  Soon I noticed that clicking on other applications would result in an error message saying "Application not found".  I can't remove programs from my control panel because it is inaccessible, I can't open Microsoft Office programs directly unless I go to my computer.  I can't do a system recovery or restoration; the same messages will pop up.
