  Correction lens metadata is an integrated part of the Micro-FourThirds systems.

  Micro-FourThirds lenses carry the lens correction profiles in the lens itself. Its location in the raw files at the time of the capture by the housing of the device as a special type of metadata, that Lightrooom will apply automatically. You will notice on the tab Correction of the goal that it will show "Allow for correction of profile" and the value in the profile is the default.

  To make the Nikon lens, there are available profiles but only for the FIRST.

  They cannot install as with other programs.  Go to the Device Manager by going to start / find and type Device Manager and enter and then double-click on the program icon that appears.  Check each device to a red x, yellow! or white?  These identify devices with problems probably (drivers, but also of conflict or something else).  Click on each for more details and troubleshooting tips.  If you need to get drivers (and you should do all you have time to do - they can help way beyond simply solve this problem), let the computer dealer or the manufacturer of the device (NOT of Microsoft Updates).  In fact, you must disable automatic updates in Windows Update driver as follows: http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/how-to-disable-automatic-driver-installation-in-windows-vista/.   The Mark II 1DX was actually first supported in Camera Raw 9.5

  Not sure what you mean by there. You have downloaded. Have you installed?

  In Photoshop, click Help > About Plug-Ins > Camera Raw to see which version is actually installed.

• Satellite A100 - 02 M: cannot open the local area network to share files and printer - LAN Unplugged

  I have an office of another manufacturer which was connected by a wireless network via a Belkin router for a laptop another manufacturers - both running XP.

  I have now replaced the other laptop with a laptop Toshiba Satellite A100 - 02 M under Vista Home Premium. While I can still access the Internet from both machines, I can't open the LAN to share files and printers. The laptop shows 'LAN Unplugged' all the time. Any ideas would be accepted with gratitude.

  I have no general solution, but I'll try to give some advice solution;
  If you want to connect laptop with LAN cable both please make sure that you use a crossover ethernet cable.
  In addition, check if the network card is properly recognized in Device Manager.

  You could try updating the LAN driver and remove the NIC in Device Manager to update the installed driver.
  After restarting again the operating system should recognize the new (Lan) device and should install it automatically.

  I'm back with more questions. I had this same problem at the opening of the raw images in my 40 d CS3 (I have Windows 7 64-bit). With your help, I was able to fix this with a patch, but now I'm having the same problem with the opening of raw images from my new 5 d Mark II. Help again please!

  You will see that, at a minimum, you need ACR 5.2, who needs Photoshop CS4 to work.

  If you don't want to upgrade, use the latest DNG Converter that will make your images searchable and editable in CS3.

  The 7 5 d Mark II was first supported by Camera Raw version 8.7 (the plugin used by Photoshop Elements to open Raw files)

  Devices supported by Camera Raw

  Camera Raw 8.7 is only compatible with 13 elements and later versions.

  Elements 9 is compatible only with versions of Camera Raw 6.1 to 6.5 included so you will never be able to open the Raw of Mark II 7 d files in Elements 9.

  You have two choices:

  1. Upgrade to the latest version of items (currently 14 but is there a new version due every day now), or
  2. Download the free Adobe DNG converter, batch convert all 7 d Mark II Raw files to DNG format and then edit DNG files in Elements 9. An extra step for you, but no extra costs.

  I just upgraded from a Canon 1000 d with a Canon 6 d, during shooting in raw and try to open it with photoshop, it says the camera raw is not compatible and it uses a different format, even if both devices have the CR2 file, I never had problems with my 1000 d. I have photoshop CS5 and have tried to update, but it still does not work. Someone knows how to fix this?   It uses a different format, even if both devices have the CR2 file

  CR2 is not a fixed file format. It varies with each camera model that make cannon. It is the same for all the camera manufacturers.

  New camera, new file Raw, same Raw file extension format model (CR2 = Canon, NAVE = Nikon, etc.).

  The 1000 d is supported in Camera Raw 5.1 and later - compatible with CS4 and later. CS5 can open these Raw files.

  The 6 d is supported in Camera Raw 7.3 and later - compatible with CS6 and later. CS5 cannot open these Raw files.

  RAW support is never added retroactively to older versions of the Adobe software you will never be able to open files 6 d Raw in CS5.

  Options:

  1. Join the Cloud (Plan of photography) and get Photoshop CC 2015 + Lightroom CC 2015 for $10 / month (as long as your computer can run)
  2. Download the free Adobe DNG converter, convert all the 6 d to DNG Raw files, then change the DNG files in CS5. An extra step for you, but no extra costs.

  Nothing worked until I managed to speak directly to Adobe support. They recommended to install the latest version of Camera Raw Installer 8.6. It has not helped to open NEF files immediately but he fixed an error of 6.7 'update failed' updated Camera Raw! After updating to 6.7 all goes well, see my d800 naves. Cheers, Sergey
