  This is probably caused by your background color of your screen.  You can confirm this by:

  If you have a Web page on your screen, then you will need set the color manually by:

  (1) right click on your desktop and select "Properties".
  (2) this should bring up your "Display properties" dialog box  (You can also get it by going to your control panel and double-clicking on 'Display'.)
  3) click on the tab "Office".
  (4) on the bottom right of the dialog box, there is a 'Color' option and below which shows the colors of the office - this must match what you see on the screen.
  (5) simply change the color to whatever color you want and then click on the 'OK' button to close the "display properties".

  If you do not have any web content on your desktop, you can set the transparent icon labels by:

  (1) right-click on 'My Computer' then click 'properties '.

  Don't know what your operating system and it could make a difference. If you're on Unix/Linux, try changing the uifont.ali file. (make a backup first!).

  I wonder if the Place method (for the referenced text) is not allowed in the documents without a head? I realize that an insertion point is necessary, perhaps only the server is alllowed to establish a selection?

  My users are able to access the areas and add text, but they cannot paste text from something other than a .pdf file. The formatting is a problem with this method, however, and some users are very limited in their experience.   The old Acrobat had a hand picker icon and text that I could use to pan the page of the document or selection of text in the page.

  Hi MChampa-

  You don't need to add anything to the toolbar as it exists already. Make sure your program window is wide enough to see the tools. You have the Pan tool and the text tool on the toolbar of controls on the Page, shown here as a floating toolbar.

  

  You must move your cursor to the bottom of the document window in order to see the controls on the Page if they are floating. If you prefer, you can anchor the with the toolbars at the top of the page by clicking on the icon to the right indicating the arrow upward. The two icons on the left are the ones you describe, I believe.

  Hi all. I am a new user of Captivate 5.5. I created a short demo extracted in Captivate, including the audio narration and captioning.

  Now my supervisor would like to know if there is a way to set aside a screen area (on the side or the bottom of the screen) exclusively for the display of the narrative text.

  I know how to use captioning (covering the demonstration area) and the areas of caption text (which are positioned in the demonstration area), but it is thought in terms of making the smaller real demonstration area and have text accompanying in space that would be released.

  Is it possible to do?

• Cannot select text in the drop-down menu after you have installed Indesign CC2015.

  I cleared the cache of police, I have re-installed the whole program and I checked the other apps for similar problems, there are none. Not really sure where to go from here.

  As a work around, I am able to scroll through the list and make your choice with the keys on my keyboard. Not really ideal if!

  No, if it works in another account we need not the test Mode without failure.

  Make sure InDesign is closed, then:

  See replace your preferences for the paths to the TWO hidden folders where the prefs are located and rename or delete them in the original user account. A copy of these two entire folders, not only the content from the account that works and stick to the appropriate locations in the account which is not.

  I'm in CS4 and there are two things happening when you try to change in design view. The first is that I can't select text content. Clicking to select such content, for example a line of text or a Word, selects and highlights the container div any and all content to the breast in a big piece. Why is DW not let me choose the actual content? It's the first time I met enver this problem.

  It is the same for all ontainers div on the page. But a related problem may have to do with this content area. In design mode, there is a fixed height, so not only can I not select content, but I do not see everything. It of OK in the browser, develops as it should. I have looked at all the properties of any place and don't see any height attribute anywhere, particularly those that define this content area.

  A you ask - this content area is warpped in a 'main content' div, with a class applied. But this div has no corresponding entry or properties in the style sheet. I can see where a div can be used has no specific properies of its own, but it's OK, not at all mentioned in the style sheet? And this can affect what happens in Design view editing?

  So, I guess that the question is what governs this inability to change in Design view?  Thank you in advance!

  I do not know what causes this exactly, but I downloaded your page and it ran into my DWCS4. Until I double click on the content of the div, it does the same thing. Allowed me to select without problem from there.

  Hello ajdf9, many site problems can be caused by corrupted cookies or cache. To try to solve these problems, the first step is to clear cookies and cache.

  I recently changed my screen TV monitor flat 24 "for a 19 ' traditional flat screen LCD PL1910M, now I can't place any void on the block schema vi, if these are things I wrote or the samples directory. I select and then nothing happens when normally it would seem and you could place it where you want. My system worked for years without problem, it is a real problem!
