  I have a number of videos that were recorded on a Motorola phone to format .3g2, when I played against them in windows XP Pro using what was the most recent media player, they played very well and the audio was present.

  I've since upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate and have found that videos will play with media player sound is not output.

  I tried different players like VLC (same result, no sound) and came across one called SUPER from erightsoft which indeed works and allows me to re - encode to .wmv BUT when I do and you try to read the .wmv I encounter an error:

  When I clikc on help, I am led to a page with links on THIS forum.

  So here I am.

  Can someone explain what is happening, why it happens and how / if I can convert them into a playable (with audio) .wmv friendly format?

  You can try to install in compatibility mode and see if this will help; about the only other thing is you go on the game manufacturer and see if they have nothing else, you can try.   How can I get FireFox to work on the first version of the Google ChromeBook? Everytime I open it it said to update or upgrade to FireFox and make it your main page. So I downloaded it and it's open once it is installed, but then a message appears that says "can't stand" search for an application that supports FireFox and its software, or something of the sort. I was sitting here with a full battery when I started and now it is dead... and I still don't have FireFox on my ChromeBook.

  What do I do now or how do I get it to work? And if it just simply won't work on a CHromeBook then they need to have that riht out in the open.

  I had a peek in this and was informed that Firefox does not work on Chrome OS.

  It is designed and done a little differently from the likes of Windows and Linux and will not support another browser being installed.

  Now we will solve the problem "file does not have a program associated with it".  Go tohttp://www.dougknox.com/xp/file_assoc.htm .  Read the explanatory text and then click the 5th from the top:CPL file Association Fix download the zip file, extract the reg file, then run it.

  Because this association should not have broken, I suggest that you download, update and run
