Cannot remove PalMall by BND Add-ons, Extensions

I have in the PalMall of modules, Extensions, by BND I'm capable off, on my Mac using the Mavericks.

I would feel much safer if I could remove this item.

I've deleted and reinstalled Firefox, without solving.

I reinstalled Mavericks, unresolved, that he would remain in Firefox.

I found where he was hiding on my mac. In your finder, drag the link tab to go on home, then click on the support application tab, go down to mozilla, open this tab and extensions. You should see this long line: (82259bd1-59d6-4bfd-957a-f23f4b1bed07@e0b3f89b-48e3-4951-a874 - 71bcd3c7115e.com) mentioned above. I deleted my, and he was finally gone. Don't forget to empty the trash and run a hard clean cache. I also did the first part via firefox as mentioned above. He finally left. I hope this helps.

Thanks to you all!

How I got rid of the error message:

I had an alias "Adobe Application Manager" in my Applications folder that pointed to Applications/Utilities/Adobe Application Manager/core/Adobe Application Manager.app. The CFBundleVersion string in the info.plist file was 9.0.0.141. I have no idea when or why it was installed on my system. Starting this "Adobe Application by" lead to an update to a newer version 10.0.0.49. Subsequently, an application of bar menu pop up, asking to log in with my Adobe I identification code creative cloud have does NOT connect me, because I have not even a creative cloud subscription, but leave the menu bar app by pressing "quit" in the gear icon. Then I gave another chance, extensions Manager. After selecting an add-on from the Adobe Exchange website to install in the extensions Manager, the "Adobe Application Manager" has popped up, asking me my Adobe Funnily enough identification code, by default has been my second ID (old) Adobe, I replaced my updated Adobe ID and password.

A few seconds later Extension Manager installed the add-on without any error and hassle with my standard modules to InDesign.

As a side effect, I had a new folder "/ Applications/Utilities/Adobe Creative Cloud" with approximately 330 MB of stuff I really don't seem to need. Fortunately, I found an uninstall program in "/ Applications/Utilities/Adobe CreativeCloud/Utils/Uninstaller.app CC" who removed the "useless stuff" with no negative side effects known to feature my CS6 or the Adobe Extension Manager CS6. Thank you to everyone who was willing to help, take the time to read this thread. I'll mark this as a good answer to people digging in the same problem!

  • All add-ons / extensions are missing as if not installed. (ff4.0.1)

I am currently using Firefox 4(.o.1). When I checked the Add-ons tab 'extensions' Manager, there is no extensions, and it says here "you don't have additional modules of this type installed". I restarted the browser several times and my laptop once and no. changed at all except for once lucky when it seems normal. I don't know if it's there, but nobody can see it or what. I've been using adblock plus and so far, I see no ads/popups.

Thank you very much... It really worked! You are awesome! Anyway, the sweetim gadget is not in my add on the page.

  • Is there a way to know why an add-on was removed from the Mozilla Add - ons ' "Web site?

I've been happily using "ISBN Linker," an add-on that I have heard of a few different sites and installed on site 'Add-ons' Mozilla only months ago. " I went to the site today to install this add-on on a new computer, and I received the message that nothing could be recognized under that name. As far as I know, he has been entirely removed from the repository of the add-on (Google Cache shows still some remains of its existence).

Is it possible to know why it was deleted? It is not that I want to discuss why it shouldn't be there, but rather than if it was just that he had not been updated, or maybe it was simply removed by the creator, I would take a shot to recreate the add-on and it re-submitting. If, however, it was deleted for some reason, I'd love to know to avoid problems!

This add-on has never reviewed by Mozilla. Mozilla has recently tightened the rules for modules that appear on the site of modules. They have sent e-mails to the developers of add-on for any add-ons not revised, in order to inform them that if they wanted their add-on to stay on-site the modules they would need to ask that she will receive a security review. Those who have not requested that a security review was the Add-ons disabled so that it no longer appears on the site of modules. I use ff4 beta3 on a Win7 PC, this problem appeared in the beta 2 release.

Maybe it's this: due to a change in the way that Firefox 39 associate keywords with bookmarks and/or history, the address bar is newly sensitive to corruption in the database that stores your history and bookmarks (the places.sqlite file).

The developers are working on a solution, but that could take weeks to reach you.

At this point, the best solution is to delete/rename the places.sqlite file, but then you lose all your history, if this really isn't very attractive to people who rely on history to revisit the sites.

In case you want to try this - in case you do not receive the best suggestions - here's how:

Open the settings folder (AKA Firefox profile) current Firefox help

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information
    • (menu bar) Help > troubleshooting information

In the first table of the page, click on the view file"" button. This should launch a new window that lists the various files and folders in Windows Explorer.

Leave this window open, switch back to Firefox and output, either:

    • "3-bar" menu button > button "power".
    • (menu bar) File > Exit

Pause while Firefox finishing its cleanup, then rename places.sqlite to something like oldplaces.sqlite. (I'm not suggesting delete this file, just in case you find yourself in need again).

Firefox creates temporary files related to places.sqlite and those should be renamed / remove as well. Check places.sqlite - shm and places.sqlite - wal and if you find them, rename them as well.

When you start Firefox back up again, he should start a new database places.sqlite and import your last backup automatic bookmark. Can you confirm that all your bookmarks are present? The address bar works normally again?

  • Toolbar Yahoo appeared without my consent. Can't get rid of it. Does not appear in the list of Add-ons or in the list of the programs installed for uninstall. (Win7; (FFx5) Please help me remove this annoyance.)

The Yahoo uninstall instructions help call for, click on the pencil tool (which tool is not found on this toolbar). Firefox instructions say go to the list of Add-ons, but the Yahoo bar is not there. There are several modules of Java, but I don't know what they are and what happens if they are uninstalled.
