I'm not a fan of the AOL software. Personally I would not use AOL as my Internet service provider. I only had a close encounter with the AOL software in recent years. Finally, the problem has been solved and it was not caused by the AOL software but he could have easily.

Vista Business 64 running Lightroom 2.0 cannot remove the FreeAgent Go USB external disk images

I use an external drive FreeAgent Go USB for image storage. I have a XP machine who has no problem using Adobe Lightroom 2.0 for the deletion of images in the reader. When I use my laptop with Vista Business 64 and run the same scenario with Lightroom to remove images, I don't want to, I get an error that does not allow me to delete. I can download them to the desktop from the laptop and I'll be able to delete them then, but not directly from the external hard drive. Is there a way I can do this using my Vista based computer laptop, or what I always switch the drive to my XP to achieve? Thanks for your help.

I could find several FreeAgent Go drives (I'm not sure you have) and all I saw were compatible, but I couldn't find Lightroom 2.0 (so maybe that's the problem - simply because that isn't on the list doesn't mean it is not compatible - only that is has not been tested and that often means it can be a problem).

Have your tried using the standard Windows Explorer to erase the images of the player? That work, or is it a problem there too? If Windows Explorer cannot delete images, then try to use one of the following free products to remove the file/folder. Now that address my other question as much as me have allowed difficulty delivers windows boot is seen? I see that windows 7 is a file boot.ini as previous versions of windows. I would like to see the "command-line" some win 7 has instead of boot.ini file uses. I suspect something may be there that causes the driver signature error... and tried the 'bootrec' methods above doesn't solve anything for me.

Thanks a lot for your help in this matter. (Once I get the verify signature driver disabled it goes straight in win 7 and win 7 works fine.) It just will not be disabled whenever I start my pc. I always have to fight to get the window that gives me the ability to disable.)

Have you tried to remove the CA certificate first?

Claire configure crypto ca certificate "certname.

Also try to delete CRLs

CRL clear crypto ca

An IPSEC transform-set in use by a crypto-card, containing the RSA can also be the cause. Try to delete all transform everything first

Installer of Lexmark printer drivers saved in a folder "c:\Program Files \" (with a space at the end of this one!)

I have a real problem.

On my Windows 7 Professional machine somehow is an automatic update of installed Lexmark printer drivers and the installation program saved files
in a folder names "c:\Program Files \" (with a space at the end of this one!)

This all happened the day after without seeing me what was going on.

It seems that the Windows 7 system does not like the folder or file names ending in a 'space' or a 'period' and it will not work with it.

The side effect is that in some sort the system has copied EACH name on this new folder called sub0folder "C:\Program Files-" and I ended up with TWO files that have the air of the same name (even if we have a space at the edn of it ".

It isn't really a problem in what I could simply ignore it (the other folder names corrrectly operates always OK). The only problem is that changes to 'Security' affect the TWO files because Windows 7 sees the two folder as the 'same' names when setting security.

That's why, when I tried to mark the 'bogus' as 'not available' folder to everyone (including the system) it is the same for 'Program Files' (the real one) with disastrous consequences. I had the chance to get out and restore some semb; launched sound mind to my machine.

But I'm stuck now with this annoying issue with many sub-fdolers (which are all unaccessable because the system cannot locate).

My question is, how to remove a file that has a 'space' as the last part of his name when Windows Explorer cannot work with it?

If you have the opportunity to make a complete picture of the system of the disc, I would before you try the following... just in case remove the "bad" folder ends up deleting all good also. Alternatively, rather than remove the directory in the last step below, rename it using a command like

ren c:\PROGRA~3 c:\badprogs {press Enter}

If program of the 'real' the files and other directories survive unscathed, and then delete the C:\badprogs in the usual way.

In the search box, type cmd, then right click on cmd.exe and select "Run as Administrator". Give the password when you are prompted.

Type

CD c:\ {Press Enter}

to switch to the root

Now type

dir /x {press Enter}

This will show you a list of directories of names "short form". You will probably see something like this (from a x 64 Win 7 installation, is why there "Progra ~ 1" and "Progra ~ 2" directories ")

In your case, your directory parasite called or PROGRA ~ 3 (if you have x 64) or PROGRA ~ 2 (if you have Windows 7 32 bit).

Now that you know the name short, which allows to delete:

del C:\progra~3 {press Enter}

Cannot remove table or choose in this one
