Cannot remove uninstall couponbar programs

I'm not able to remove CouponBar to uninstall programs.  When I click on uninstall/change, nothing happens.
I got it since 09/01/11.  It does not show something Publisher version or size.
When I search my computer for that, it does not show.  I already deleted all the sites of promo and coupon printers.
What else can I do to remove it?

I remember the malware by disabling access in Safe Mode on a computer infected a few years ago and I've never had a Safe Mode for rework... other that the computer still works well... old XP and next issue, I hope the owner just replaces it.

MS Vista Windows Defender Instructions says:

(to) Stop a program from running automatically when Windows starts... Here's how: click here to open Windows Defender.  Click Tools, and then click Software Explorer.  In the category box, click startup programs.  Select the program you want to run and then click on disable.

Problem: When I click on the software I want to turn off, the buttons 'disable' and 'Delete' does not highlight, they are unclickable.

Big problem: the instructions do not reach this common dilemma, how confusing

So, what's the startup program to remove?

Type msconfig is the search from the start menu, and then press ENTER. Go to the Startup tab and disable startup programs there.

After you uninstall a program, I stayed with the icon on my desktop. I tried to remove the icon, but I couldn't. I got an error message saying it did not find the program so could not delete the message icon. I ran across this error often and would like some comments on how to remove icons or everything that's left after you have removed (uninstalled) a program, thanks.

The easiest way is to reinstall the program > removes 1 icon > then uninstall the program again.

Does anyone know how I can remove this program that has no program folder, no registry keys, but still works? I can still print from this computer, but cannot access the HP Director (a function to scan, print, clean & align print head, etc.), which is what started this process of trying to uninstall/reinstall the program.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Windows XP Pro w/SP-3 (version 2002)

    Of photo TakerYN...

This message can be considered "solved!" I was finally able to remove the program with the HP disk. I tried to reinstall (overwrite) the program, but I received a message that the installer has detected that the program is already installed. I wanted to try it manually, so I 'opened' the disc, you click on "setup" and received the same message. At this point, I was ready to try anything and noticed the "Launcher" icon and thought, what the heck, can't hurt to try at this stage, so I clicked it. I wasn't expecting the screen, I had, who said that it would be to uninstall the program. I thought it was too good to be true and easy way (after all), but after that it's over, I checked my Add/Remove programs and my 'problem' program was gone.

Thought I would post this so anyone who might encounter the same problem can try this.

The MS Installer Cleanup Utility is available at http://majorgeeks.com/Windows_Installer_CleanUp_Utility_d4459.html , that it is a safe to download site from.  Based on warnings from Microsoft on the cleanup utility, however, you might well advised to make a backup disk image or at least a backup of the registry before using it.  C:\WINDOWS\ERUNT is an easy to use free registry backup tool.

When I try to uninstall QuickTime player (or any other program) I get a message saying "the program cannot be uninstalled because another program is being installed. Please wait for the program to complete the installation and try again. »

I'm not busy to install all programs and no matter how many times I reboot my computer, I still get the same message.

The reason why I want to uninstall quicktime (and all associated software Apple) is that I am trying to install iTunes on my laptop (to work with my iPod) but get a message saying that the installation cannot be performed because I need Quicktime Player.  I have quicktime on my laptop and it works, so they told me to uninstall and remove all Apple programs and then install iTunes.

Problem is just that I can't seem to uninstall all the programs.

I tried to fix this by removing the quicktime in my program files. And when I try install quicktime again once I get the same message saying that I have to wait for another installation program before you continue the installation of quicktime.

At this point, I'm ready to try and "restore default settings", even if it means losing a lot of data. I just put the files I want to keep and restore my laptop. If it works I will, because I don't see otherwise.

my windows 7 already cured by the virus, and abnormal activity arises.

example: what firefox installation, a pop-up appears: "cannot continue the error code [code]" and I tried to run as administrator, firefox has been installed successfully.
