  Alt tags have nothing to do with metadata. They are what the name suggests - additional HTML code. Your timer will insert, you can simply provide the text to use.

• Resizing multiple images in photoshop cs5

  Hi all I'm new to the forum and looking for some advice. I need to resize images about 500 down to fit inside in a square of 600px X 600px. The images are all different sizes earlier, the more they are all of a different form, IE. Some are more square and some are more rectangular. If it was a square image should resize to 600px 600px, but if it was retangle it would resize to something like 400px by 600px so it would fit inside the square 600px 600px.

  I am running Windows 7 64 bit and using Photoshop CS5. I had a search on the net but could not find any information on how to do this when all the images are the same shape to start.

  Any advice would be appreciated.

  I am new to this lark script and hope someone can help...

  Our Nigel, unfortunately is no longer with us, wrote a cunning to convert script photographs large size smaller using Photoshop CS4.

  The workflow is the following:

  You open Photoshop

  You have two files, one with the original files and the other which is empty.

  You drag the folder with the original files on the .app and he asks a destination folder (tell you him to use the empty folder).

  The images are then opened one by one, resized, some tape removed and are then registered to the empty folder (formerly).

  Lovely jubbly.

  The problem is when you try to use this app with Photoshop CS6 - it fails at the point of backup files in the new folder which gives this error:

  I fiddled with the script a little and it seems don't not like the section "with options" command 'Save document' (it works fine if I completely remove the fuse "with options" - but I need than LZW compression).  I have trawled through a few similar questions on these forums, but have not been able to track down the problem. It probably doesn't help that I'm not a programmer (just try to translate as I oppose using the Photoshop CS6 AppleScript reference guide).

  Did everyone there knows the problem please?

  Photoshop CS5 has been out of production for several years. Adobe does not update the supported camera raw for older versions of Photoshop. If you want the latest greatest version of camera raw so it is necessary to subscribe to creative photography plan cloud. A lot of people don't like this idea and see no need to do so. Adobe offers a free DNG Converter that allows you to create copies of your raw DNG files. These DNG files contain the raw image data and can be used with older versions of camera raw.   Unless your computer is too old for him, your best choice is to use the latest version of the DNG Converter. It will support for most cameras.

  By the way, the latest version of camera raw that you can use with Photoshop CS5 is the version 6.7. If you install a later version it will be all affect your work.

  I install Photoshop CS5 mac book air.

  I have downloaded Photoshop_12_LS1.dmg of products download Adobe Creative Suite 5 I can mount the DMG, but the performance of the resultant 'install' application causes OS X El Capitan to complain that 'Install' is corrupted and cannot be opened.  Help for this error message indicates that the file has been tampered with.  Apparently this can be circumvented by letting the Mac to install the unsigned code, but probably I wouldn't need to do this to the Adobe software.

  How should I proceed?

  I think it's probably just because of the code signing certificates have expired that the package has been produced if long ago.

  Someone else suggested this go around.   You must set this back to something safe later.

• Cannot install updates on photoshop cs5

  I had to rebuild my computer and was able to download and install and activate Photoshop CS5.  However, when I go to update and to install, say the updates cannot be installed. I know that my serial number is good, because the active product, but implementing up-to-date does apparently not.

  We will be updating the look of other downloads Manager for Update Manager Application for OS, Mac or Windows Application.

  Download and install it. If you have a Mac, go to the Apple system preferences > Security & Privacy > General and "Allow downloads from: Anywhere" while Gatekeeper does not block the installation of the system.

  Then run the updates.

  Return to App Store when finished.

  Let me know how it goes.

• Catalogue/Index of Images in Photoshop CS5

  Being new to using Photoshop CS5 is possible to catalog or create an index of all my images in PS CS5?  For now, I'm backing up my files to cd image is to store off-site, but with many CDs, I don't remember what's on each CD, unless I manual creates a list/index or the spreadsheet.  Someone mentions that PS CS5 is doing this, but I haven't seen any menu that looks like this function.  Is it possible in PS CS5 or do I need to purchase another program to do this?

• I can't open an image in Photoshop CS5 (windows 7).

  When I go to the opened file and I try to import a photo all that appears is the gray gridded background. on in the layers box, I see the image. I have cs5 on 2 computers, it works great under vista but I have problems with windows 7 can someone please help! Thank you

  Try to disable OpenGL drawing in preferences.  If it works, it means that you need to update your video card driver.

  Also make sure you run the latest version of Photoshop CS5 (12.0.1).

• Lightroom doesn't open the image in Photoshop CS5, but open PS CS5

  I just installed for CS5 and uninstalled CS4.

  Now, Lightroom 2.7 trying to "Edit in Photoshop CS5" Photshop CS5 does not open, but the image that I'm trying to edit does not open in PS - CS5.  Photoshop just open and image from Lightroom is not present.

  Looking at previous discussions, I tried the solution:

  1. Mac OS

  On Mac OS, try the following solutions in the order:

  Solution 1: Rebuild the Photoshop plist file.

  1. Close Photoshop Lightroom.
  2. Go to the users / file [username] / LIbrary/Preferences.
  3. Drag the file com.adobe.Photoshop.plist to the trash.
  4. Launch Photoshop. Photoshop will recreate the plist file.

  I've upgraded LR, Mac OS and MCS for all current versions

  Other ideas for LR2.7 and PS CS5 to work together again?

  You should try to remove the file from Lightroom preferences. It is in the same place that one but Photoshop Lightroom in the name. Also, you to update Camera Raw in Photoshop?

• Cannot resize Images in elements 8

  Hello

  I recently had my laptop stolen and I had to reinstall in 8 items on my new computer. Since then, I was able to resize images. I go to Image-> resize-> Image size and the pixel dimensions box is greyed out and I can't change the pixel dimensions. Size of document function works very well and is not grayed out.

  It's very strange and frustrating. Perhaps a simple problem, but I am totally confused.

  In order to change the pixel dimensions you must first activate the check-box resample, as implied spread or adding pixels necessarily resampling. Try it with this market.

• Resizing images in Photoshop collages

  I'm doing collages in Photoshop and you want to resize the individual images without changing the proportions. I click on free transform, then take the corner of the photo, but it will not keep its shape because I increase or decrease the size. Other similar software, I used always retains the shape I increase or decrease the size.

  Silkrooster is on-site with SHIFT key when you use the free transform, and you can also use Edit > Transform > scale.

  I have a customer hosted outside the BC site. The form size is 220px wide. We receive a lot of spam without Recaptcha. I was happy to see the recpatcha Google option added to the Muse 20141. Is it possible to resize the recaptcha image so that it can fit in a form of thin width.

  There is no out of the box solution to resize the recaptcha in Muse. However, you can add a CSS custom code in the HTML code to the head section of the page to resize.

• cannot resize image

  I made a selection using the pen tool and while the selection on another layer using the 'layer by cutting", but when I try to resize the image, I can't because the image is the same size as the canvas.

  Select the new layer you cut out the image, and then use ctrl-t or command + t to transform the image. Using the handles you can scale the image including more of the canvas. If you need to be much larger than the canvas you can zoom out by using the zoom tool to see the handles.
