  Hello, as you can probably tell I'm a noob to this, but I want to learn. Just going through the tutorial on the first and I get this error when I try to make it work on my Z10. I have the debug mode on and I have the keys and they say successfully on my Z10 but I still get this error.

  I'm having some problems of setting up my development environment and you try to run the "Hello World" application I would be very grateful if someone can help me.

  I'm on a Mac with:

  + OS X 10.7.4
  + Eclipse 3.7.2 (Build id: M20120208-0800)
  + Java such as reported by "java-version": version

  Java version "1.6.0_33".

  Java (TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_33 - b03-424 - 11 M 3720)
  Java 64-Bit Server VM (build 20, 8-b03-424, mixed mode)

  As I already had an Eclipse environment, I installed the plugin BlackBerry Java (and all available BlackBerry SDK) following the instructions "add the BlackBerry in Eclipse (Mac) Update site.

  If you follow the tutorial Hello BlackBerry ( https://developer.blackberry.com/java/documentation/first_app_1968215_11.html ), after clicking "Finish."

  "Cannot find RIMUsbJni.dll. Without this dll, that FDI can not connect to the computers active USB pocket.
  Add RIMUsbJni in java.library.path ".

  ... with the "OK" buttons and "don't show me this message again."

  As I read in another thread that maybe that's because 64-bit JDK is used instead of the JDK 32-bit ( http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Java-Development/Cannot-find-RIMIDEWin32Util-dll/m-p/342343#M... ), I used the OS X 'Java Preferences.app' to set the 32-bit as the preferred Java JRE, but I still get the same error.

  OTOH, I still have the 64-bit installed eclipse. Does it really matter? Do I have to remove the 64-bit eclipse and install the 32-bit eclipse to solve this problem?

  I deleted my 64-bit Eclipse and install the "plug-in for Eclipse BlackBerry" for developers without an existing Eclipse environment. Now it works, I was able to load the app into my BB and run it, so...

  It seems that the eclipse of 64-bit cannot be used for the development of Java of BB; the eclipse of 32 bits is required.

  I have problems with the Hello World in JDeveloper RUP7 of installation program.

  Hello everyone I am new to this world to develop a blackberry and I have a question about ssh, it can be quite simple, but a simple tip could save me from going crazy.

  When I open an ssh session with my blackberry and try to execute statements such as ping, it is said:

  When you connect via SSH, logged as "devuser". This user has limited permissions... basically these permissions that would be a regular application.

  To run the 'ping', you need a higher level of access. (Check permissions and ownership with "ls-l/usr/bin/ping") This isn't an option, so the answer is no, there is no way to do it.

• BlackBerry JDE Build Error - new installation - Hello World

  I'm new to the Blackberry development.  I was able to get Eclipse works without any problems whatsoever and I built a few sample programs and one of my own.  However, it seems to me that RIM Blackberry JDE has some nice features for the visualization of information specific to Blackberry batteries, memory statistics, etc. Then I tried to get the RIM Blackberry JDE 4.5 and 4.7 installed so I can revisit.  I had some problems installing a reason any.  I've gotten past these problems, but I'm starting to get the headache trying to build "Hello World".

  What would someone mind helping me resolve the error of next generation for 'Hello World '.  It will probably take something simple and I feel stupid, but I have to finish reviewing the RIM JDE so I can select my development environment and begin to develop.

  (You must make sure that) that you have installed a suitable JDK, and (b) in the JDK bin directory is in your Windows PATH environment variable.

  Open a command window and type javac

  If it is not found, the JDE cannot find it either.

• Cannot run OBIEE 11 g

  I installed a version of OBIEE 11g in a machine of Red Hat 5. Initially, it worked properly, which means I could connect analytics and working with OBIEE as expected. However, a few weeks later I started to deal with the problems while trying to race OBIEE, and in fact I couldn't revive it since then.

  The source of my problem may be a SPR I downloaded Enterprise Manager which seems to be wrong. Since then, I think I was forced to restart OBIEE due to poor performance of the tool and was not able to run more. In any case and whatever may be the source of the problem, when I try to run opmn, that's what I get:

  So I can connect to the WebLogic Console and Enterprise Manager without problem, I can't even see the Analytics login page, but can't get through (because of the problem of the coreapplication_obis1, I guess).

  I found a few tips on the web, but none of them worked for me. So, I would be very grateful if someone could help me to solve the issue, at the moment I can't not just working with OBIEE.

  There is a way to downgrade your Dr. to a previous version. It comes as part of a standard installation.

  Try nqgenoldverrpd.exe. using this, you can change the version of your SPR to a version more weak that can adapt to your installation.

  here in this case downgrade from 325 to 318.

  Check if that helps.

  First of all, excuse me if my terminology is inaccurate; I am a newbie with JDeveloper.

  When I try to run the JSPX page, the browser cannot connect. (Should I say 'deploy' instead of 'run' in this case?) Everything works (navigation, principal, update, delete) when I use the browser of Business components. So, I'm sure it's associated with VPN, and a configuration change is probably in order on the WebLogic Server. However, I can't even connect to the console (http://127.0.0.1:7101 / console). In JDeveloper Preferences, all under Internet and Proxy browser appears to be configured correctly as Proxy Test is successful, and as mentioned, I have no problem of communication with the DB.

  Lou's right. If you run an application in the built-in server, the server administrator is used as a deployment target too. The console and the application use the same port in this case.

  Please check the settings of the built-in Server: browser server application-> server-> properties and click the configuration tab. You should see 127.0.0.1 as hostname, and check the preferred port be the one you use in the url (7001) in your case.

  Your comment, I conclude that you are running a virtual machine on your pc too (192.168.1.14, 192.168.1.15). Check if you have set up the network to use NAT with port forwarding. If this is the case check if you transfer favorite port. If this is the case, you must use another favorite port that you are not transferring.

  I had same problem with a Toshiba 1 TB drive - I lost on that day and tried at least 10 Windows 7 installs with various behaviours/settings/partitions and still the same result. Cannot run Windows Update.

  I also tried to install Windows 7 SP1 from a DVD and have failed with a catastrophic mistake. I also tried to reformat the disk, the WIndows repair tool (ha!) update and installation when you're standing on my head while reciting the works of Shakespear.

  I gave up in the end and decided to NOT use it as a system disk at all. Instead, I installed Windows 7 on a smaller drive and uses the 1 TB and successfully as a secondary on the same PC drive with a single partition of 1 TB.

  I'm likely to have problems - maybe when the player is more complete and if I might be wise to split into 2 or more partitions?

  I just bought the drive so I can send it if it's going to be a waste of time.
