Cannot save changes to cisco ACS 5.8

Hello

I have a problem with save to Cisco ACS. I'm not saving with the button "save changes". It's hide. Please help me. Thank you

Look at more pictures, looks like you are using firefox version 46.

If yes you must down load and install 5.8 patch3 which includes fixes for specific problems seen when working with this version of the Firefix browser

  • Text PDF format appears not, cannot save changes

I tried to understand how being saved text format appears when you open a PDF form.

I did a lot of troubleshooting and here is what I have so far.

PDF - form has been created in Adobe InDesign CS6 (Mac)

-The text appears in SumatraPDF, Mozilla's PDF reader

-The text is visible for half a second then disappears when opening in Adobe Reader 11 and cannot be seen (even when the cell is clicked, as others have pointed out)

-Same thing happens in Adobe Acrobat 9.0 Standard except that it is rather the second 1/8

-The text does appear quite in FoxIt Reader, Nitro Pro 9, Nitro Reader 9

-In addition, if the user tries to open, to modify fields, record, none of the changes stick

It seems that any reader/PDF Editor that supports editing of form field does not display text, but who does not display the text just fine (Mozilla, SumatraPDF). I tried to add the ".js file" for fixing forms Adobe Acrobat and Reader, but it makes no changes. I am troubleshooting for an end-user who must be able to open, edit and save these PDF files. No indication as to what is happening here would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you!

The reason is that the form is reset when the document is opened. I could be to blame for this, I promoted this technique long ago before the player was able to save a completed form. It was useful for online forms so that historical data would not fill in the fields if the form had been reopened. For a number of reasons, is no longer a good reason to do so.

To work around the problem, you can temporarily disable JavaScript and form don't get reset when it is open. You can also remove the script in the opening event of the Page the first page if you wish.

The reason why you see different behavior with different viewers is because some of them support the JavaScript that is used and others do not.

  • Cannot save changes in iWeb

I recently bought 3 models of 3 companies, because the Apple default iWeb Templates are not sufficient for my business needs.

    I bought 2 iPresentee and iWebThemesPark 1.

After 4 hours, developing a company web page where I saved constantly my job while using the app to Apple iWeb, I was appalled to realize that my work had actually been saved!

First, I assumed it was a problem with the new models - but I now believe that it is a type of bug with iWeb - because the problem happens on models from 2 different companies and I even changed my read/write permission in their case by a suggestion from the suppliers of model.

The symptoms are: I make the text changes, add pic files & delete some items template - and after the backup via file/save or Ctrl/s I exit the application of iWeb. Then when I restart iWeb-NONE of my changes were actually saved!

I use the last of Apple OSX 10.11.6 & iWeb 3.0.4

Totally frustrated - any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do not remember that if this is actually a bug in iWeb, then nothing's going to set for it because iWeb is a product not supported and has been for the last 4 years now.

I don't understand why you use iWeb to create websites of companies when it is not supported to an old man?  You would be better to create a corporate Web site using something like EverWeb, which is supported and currently developed?

iWeb all stores in the files domain.sites and that's where everything will be recorded.  If you open iWeb, once again, you may find that things have not been registered, but go and find your domain.sites files and double click on it and you should find here changes.  Domain.sites file is located under your user/Library/Application Support / domain.sites.  Remember that it is your user library you want and NOT the library from your system.  To make your user library, you must go to the menu go to the top and then click on the 'alt' key and it should reveal your user library.

Apart from that, I would not recommend the use of an obsolete product to create a business website.  Use EverWeb or something else - you can create very nice and professional looking websites of companies using WordPress.org.

Move now while you can, as once you upgrade to the new Sierra of OSX, iWeb may well not work and there will be no more updates far it - not supported now.

Time to move on instead of using it to create new sites!

  • Cannot save changes to a .vi

I have a .vi that references a file database.dsn on the C: drive of the computer.  I would like to change the location of the file.  I can change the path in the .vi that points to the new location, and I can run the vi pointing to the new path.  I seem to be able to save the file.  However, when I close the vi & reopen it always comes back to the original path, apparently unaware of the changes that I made.  No idea why?  I'm using Labview 2013, running on Windows 7.  The original file was written in Labview 8.1.  I was able to make changes to this file in the past, but not on the computer I'm working now.  Thanks for the help!

First of all, this post is better suited in tha LabVIEW forum Feedback Forum.

As for your problem, if you change the path on the right click on the control and select data operations > use current default value.  Then save the .vi.  Whenever you load, controls are populated with the default value.

  • Cisco ACS 4.2: The most important to back up files?

    Dear Sir

Can you tell me what are the most important files to back up in the Cisco ACS directory?

Currently, I am only backup (with Symantec Backup Exec):

    C:\Program Files\CiscoSecure ACS v4.2\CSAuth\System backups

    * But, I would like to know if my server crash, can I restore the entire configuration with the files listed in the directory below? (Users, groups, groups of devices, AD, mapping, users, groups,...)

    * The Cisco ACS there change in the Windows registry?

    * Is it necessary to reinstall the Cisco ACS, if I need to put in an emergency on a new server? I guess Yes, because the installation creates services, etc.

I ask this question because it takes time to install the patches...

    * Or, can I save all the Cisco ACS directory... On a new server, install the Cisco ACS and restore the backup?

Thank you very much for giving me your experience about it.

    Kind regards

You should back up the files that come from ACS backups, i.e.

System configuration > backup GBA, the location that is specified in this section.

And the default location is the one that already save for example "C:\Program Files\CiscoSecure ACS v4.2\CSAuth\System backups"

In case you are required to host ACS on a new server, you would be required to re - install the complete application of the CSA and then simply take the last backup and restore in the newly installed ACS. It will be to restore everything users, group etc. to etc. of the external database mappings.

When you install ACS on a new server, then make sure that if you run them Services ACS with a service account (this is required for the authentication of the window according to your requirement), you would be required to run new services with this account too, and which may require that go you through the following documentation.

  • Cannot save an ACS secondary for replication of ACS primary 5.2.

    Hello

I hope someone can help me.  Currently, I have two devices Cisco ACS and both are classified in the PRIMARY.  The first ACS is running version 5.2.0.26 while the second ACS is running version 5.3.0.40.

My original thought was to install the first ACS and do serve primary and have it replicate its data on the ACS SECONDARY.  Somehow, after installation, the ACS are now listed as PRIMARY.  When I go into secondary ACS under Deployment Options to try to save it in elementary school, I get the following error message:

"This failure has occurred.  Failed to authenticate with node.  Your changes have not been saved. »

Even if I try this GBA primary to save it for the secondary ACS, I get the same error message.  I tried all passwords including the credentials of the admin super user, my credentials for the administrator and the credentials provided to SSH in ' GBA and nothing is helping.

Reading online, I read there was a way to remove an ACS secondary, but I don't have the ability to add this server in the primary for "bump it down" to a secondary antibody hoping to save it for the primary ACS.

If anyone can give me some pointers, I would greatly appreciate.

Thank you, and all have a wonderful day.

    THERE

    Yvonne,

If the identifier is the same then definitely replication does not work, you will not be able to enroll in primary school if the license is the same. The good side is that you have the other license, you only need to install.

However I have more bad news, the only way to re - install a license file in ACS 5.x uses the CLI command 'acs reset-config', but it will also delete all of the configuration that you have on this server, except the network configuration (IP, gateway, DNS, etc.)

After entering this command if you are trying to access the GUI, you should not use the name of user and password acsadmin/default, then you will be asked to locate the license file.

Here is a document with this information where you need it:
