Right click on the image and point to open with and click Paint see if paint can save the change.

Cannot save edited image. Error message: "the file is already in use or left open.
I tried to save JPEG images after making a few changes to Photoshop CS4. For each file, I get the message "cannot save (file name) because the file is already in use or left open." I checked my apps and nothing is running would be to use the image. Can someone look over my EtreCheck and tell me if there is something current funny? I'm working on hundreds of images, so just change the name is slow and heavy work around. The problem seems to have started after update 10.11.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It is unlikely to solve your problem. Don't be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The test is intended to determine if the problem is caused by a third-party software that loads automatically at startup or logon, by a device, by a police conflict or corruption of system files or some system caches.
Disconnect all devices wired except those required to test and remove all the expansion cards from secondary market, as appropriate. Start in safe mode and log on to the account of the problem.
Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can not do this. Ask for additional instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run as normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things work at all, including an audio output and a Wi - Fi connection on some models. The next normal boot can also be a bit slow.
The login screen is displayed even if you usually connect automatically. You need your password to log on. If you have forgotten the password, you will have to reset it before you begin.
Test in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and make sure you always have the problem. View the results of the test.

Hi, have a strange problem for a few days. If I change the image (PSD) in InDesign with the 'Edit original' command in Photoshop sometimes once picture editing, I get the message "cannot save" C:... /... psd ' because the file is already in use or left open "when I try to save. If I close the file in InDesign I save again the image in PhotoShop. Sometimes not all the time. I do not work with files on the server. It's just me alone...
Anyone experienced this kind of behavior?

I had this same problem, but I tried to export my file in format .idml (InDesign Markup) and he re-recorded as a new indesign file. Maybe try that? -Sort the problem (so far) with me.

Most of the time I can't save my sounds of instruments published successfully, and I can't understand why they won't save most of the time.
Once I change the instrument sound, such as the addition of reverb to the instrument that is highlighted in the image below, I press save button at the bottom of the screen, as shown below, to record the sound of the instrument to measure.
Then the Instrument window opens and I record the sound of the instrument with a unique name and close this window.
When I play my MIDI controller, I can still hear the reverberation in the sound of the instrument.
But when I move my user patches in Garageband and click the patch I just saved, returned to a flat sound with no reverb the reverberation.
I use Garageband with Yosemite 10.11.2 10.1.

I added write permissions to the track settings folder to try to solve this problem, but it did not work.
"In Mac HD > library > Application Support > Track Settings > Get Info > name > system and admin, I changed to 'Read' to read and write", but I can still save my patch settings.

I can't send pictures on disks. A blank disc does not "Format". However, I can "make movie" with Windows Media. The code that came, structure of the OX80070571 unreadable disk ERROR. I could find nothing useful about this specific error message (some information on what this means, but nothing useful about how to fix it). And the problem of full backup can be linked (it just may be that manifests the problem in a different way.) Are you using the same disc types (do not use a CD + RW in a device not designed for these discs or something like that)? You can't send photos to discs, but you can send data on disks? If this isn't the case, I would try to exchange the drive for someone else that you know works very well (perhaps a friend's computer or another computer, you have) and see if the problem goes away. Try the drive in another computer, and then see if the problem starts happening there. Pretty much, which will restrict the cause to the computer or the drive.

Try using the brush included in the CD or download.
Of the Original installation CD:
1. Insert the CD in the drive and then cancel Setup
2. open my computer and click right then on the CD from the drive and select open
3 open the Util folder
4 open the CCC folder
5. If you have an HP computer, run the L3uninstall.exe. If you have a computer not HP, run the L4uninstall.exe
6. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer
7 download full feature software and driver from the link below
8. run the Setup.exe file to reinstall the printer.
If the software has been downloaded and extracted to your system:
1. type % temp % in the field of race
2. Locate and open the folder starting with 7z (example: 7zS2356)

Back up your images and then let the image processor to process all images requiring treatment in a single folder. It is perhaps easier copy or move these files to a new folder so that only are processed. Image processor then creates a new subfolder with the processed images.
If it is not to do so, please enter your entire screen with layers panel open and everything collapsed expanded. Also capture the image processor dialog box so that we can see what parameters are used in this box. It may be necessary to make multiple captures to show any drop down menus that you changed.

Use the Export command, which is located under the file menu. You have options for JPEG, TIFF, PSD, and DNG.

Windows Photo Gallery does not save the edited images.
I have problems editing contrast and red-eye with Windows Photo Gallery. I get rid of the red eye and change the brightness, close gallery and get an error message "an error prevents photo library to save this image." The image isn't 'read only', it is a jpeg file, and I am the owner/user. I edited many other images, but now it restricts me to do these as well as a few others that I've ever edit. Any ideas on what's going on?

If you encounter problems, saving images edited when you could before, I would ask
If you have installed the 3rd party software that may interfere with the Windows Photo Gallery.
(1) If you have a third Party photo editing software, try removing it and see if that doesn't
correct your problem.
(2) other forums, I found several mentions to be a problem with a corrupted author field. Look in the file properties Details page. You can get the properties on the photo in question, scroll to the right section of author and origin and remove characters. Select apply and close the file. If the field of copyright has no characters to remove, try adding a few characters and then delete them.
(3) the last thing to try is to check the permission on the Windows Photo Gallery.
Go at the beginning and list programs. Right-click on the icon of photo gallery windows live and go to properties. Select tab security put highlight the Everyone group, click the button change. Put a control under all permissions allow. Then do the same for the users group. Click on apply or OK.

Photo Gallery can't save the edited images
My Gallery of photos will not save modified pictures. He did it when I got the computer back in the spring. I installed Kodak EasyShare software after that and it seems that is about the time when the problem started in the photo gallery. What options will I get solve this without doing a system restore? If you are experiencing problems saving images edited when you could before, I recommend you to uninstall the Kodak software and check if you are able to save the images.
(1) If you have a third Party photo editing software, try removing it and see if that doesn't
correct your problem.
(2) other forums, I found several mentions to be a problem with a corrupted author field. Look in the file properties Details page. You can get the properties on the photo in question, scroll to the right section of author and origin and remove characters. Select apply and close the file. If the field of copyright has no characters to remove, try adding a few characters and then delete them.
(3) the last thing to try is to check the permission on the Windows Photo Gallery.
Go at the beginning and list programs. Right-click on the icon of photo gallery windows live and go to properties. Select tab security put highlight the Everyone group, click the button change.
