Cannot select folder to add bookmark
Opened a new site in a tab. Click on the bookmarks menu, then bookmark this Page. Window opens and I click on the file selection cursor. Displays the list of files, but I can't scroll or select any folder, so I click done and then go to all bookmarks and move the bookmark to the default folder to the one I wanted. Themes change does not seem to solve the problem, so it must be an internal matter of Firefox.
So hard to say. Two things that Safe Mode is you could try which are completely foreign to the modules:
(1) disable graphics hardware acceleration
You need to restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).
Orange Firefox button or classic menu Tools > Options > advanced
In the mini ' General' tab, uncheck the box for "use hardware acceleration when available.
(2) clear toolbar customizations
(i) the folder settings personal (AKA Firefox profile)
Help > troubleshooting information > "view file" button.
(ii) switch back to Firefox and leave the program (for example, Firefox > exit or file > exit)
(iii) wait a few moments for Firefox complete update of the files in the settings folder, then rename localstore.rdf to something else, like localstore - bad.rdf or localstore.old.
(iv) you can restart Firefox now. If that did not help and you want to come back, your customizations, you can delete the localstore.rdf newly created and rename the back of an old man.

Cannot remove, open or add bookmarks
After a recent update, I don't see my bookmarks in the bookmarks toolbar. The toolbar is visible and I checked the window customize and the "bookmarks toolbar items" is where he should be, but I can't see the Web sites in the toolbar. If I go into the Favorites folder and the toolbar of bookmarks from there I can see a list of my favorites like before but I can not open them, delete them or add new ones. I tried to restart firefox, reinstall and restore to factory setting, but nothing seems to work...
For problems with the file places.sqlite (bookmarks, historical) database, you can check in the Firefox profile folder.
If the extension of Maintenance of places cannot repair the database places.sqlite file remove all places.sqlite files in the Firefox profile folder to rebuild the database places.sqlite latest JSON Firefox backup in the folder bookmarkbackups.

Cannot select folder when importing.
I have problems when importing.
I'm not able to select the destination folder from the drop-down list of the folder (down arrow), I have to go well as the selection upward link (arrow).
In all the training videos, I watch - they have all the drop folder as I expect.
What Miss me?Hi Chris,
It seems to be a problem in your catalog. Just to test it please try to choose a different source location and also to pass to the method to import different (copy) to move and copy again to see if it works. Otherwise you should check with a new catalog to find out if the question is specifically in the catalog application it self.
Thank you

Safari - fully deployed collapse folder when adding bookmarks tree.
I (and many others) were looking for a solution to this problem for months (some for years) now. Someone at Apple even listening?
Here's the problem:
When I go to 'Add bookmark', I get tree of folders completely developed, which, in my case, has hundreds of folders/subfolders. They are fully developed, so I have to scroll through several pages of subfolders to find a good place to store the bookmark. I know I could "simplify my tree", but it's not a good solution for those of us who would like to have the choice. I and others with the same problem, should be able to have the tree of folder/subfolder 'Add bookmark' COME UP COLLAPSED, so that we can choose the right global folder, THEN expand it, so that we can save the bookmark in the subfolder of our choice.
I am I have this ad in the right place? Everything Apple developers even read this, or should I post elsewhere?
Thank you!
Apple is not regularly monitor the discussions. These are mostly a user in discussions.
Send feedback to Apple. They will not respond, but at least know that there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it can become the problem solved as soon as possible.

Cannot save a file to a selected folder
Cannot save a .pdf drawing created from 7.5 KeyCeator (package design) in a selected folder. When I hit "save under" a page opens that previously allowed me to select a folder to save in, but is now empty - before installing "DC", I had no problem. The only way I can save to a folder is to go to browse, select the file and 'Save' - if I don't finish the operation by opening the file to display the drawing he does not save anything!
If I create a document and convert it into a .pdf file I can go "save under" and it opens up the path.
I can re - install the previous version (it has been removed from my PC and I don't know what it was)
Hi johnk44074398,
Please uninstall the CD player using cleanup tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat tool - Adobe Labs
Then install Adobe reader here: Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution
Let me know if it solves your problem.
Kind regards
Meenakshi

Cannot access a folder in the bookmarks Menu
I clicked on a folder in the bookmarks Menu, and he disappeared. How can I find it?
You may have moved this folder by accident in another folder.
If you have not closed Firefox, but you can try to undo this operation in the (library) bookmark manager via organize > undo (Ctrl + Z)
- Bookmarks > show all bookmarks
If not try to open the bookmarks in the sidebar (Ctrl + B) and click in the area of bookmark to set the focus in this area and quickly press the first letters of the folder lost to see if this brings up this lost file.
Bar search only searches Favorites and folders not and does not show the location of bookmarks found.
You must click on the left of an icon in this field in order to avoid opening the bookmark. -
Add bookmarks here does not show in the folder
I have 'old add bookmark behavior. " «I can't find the original add on ' Add bookmark here» Is it still available?
There is a version on the page Add Bookmark Here 2 version which is compatible with Firefox 3.6. * If that's what you're looking for.
You must upgrade to the latest Firefox 3.6.x (3.6.28) version to get the latest security patches.
This will probably be the last Firefox 3.6.x as version supports ends in April, then you will need to upgrade to the current version of Firefox 11 to get the security updates in the future. -
Often, I wish have bookmarks on the same site in several files. If I visit a site, and then select Bookmark this Page, and then assign a folder in my bookmarks menu, the bookmark exists. If I then repeat the action and choose a different folder, the result is that I have bookmarked in the second folder, but that the bookmark no longer appears in the first file.
My solution is to mark the site once, open organize bookmarks, then copy the bookmark to as many records as I like. That works, but it isn't the way I expect the product to work.

~ How to set the default folder to the bookmarks star? ~
I would like to change the location of the folder of bookmarks created by star.
I don't think that there is a built-in way to do it.
To call the dialog box with the Menu bookmarks instead of Unsorted Bookmarks, you can use one of these methods:
- CTRL + d
- Right-click on an empty area of the page, then click the star on the shortcut menu
- (menu bar) Menu bookmarks > bookmark this Page
This extension could help customizing the icon "Star": https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/add-bookmark-here-2/

Have recently copied to iTunes and pictures libraries in external hard drive. Both apps work well on iMac, on iTunes Apple TV is fine but unable to select Library of Photos from external hard drive via iTunes / folder / Home sharing / choose photos to share with the Apple TV. Can see the drive and can select iTunes folder but cannot select the photo library (in gray)
think that it only works if the lib has been moved to a drive with a file system that can be indexed for one file system native of apples does not fat or ntfs of any type

The search for the location of the FOLDER to a bookmark in my bookmarks menu of Firefox
I organize my personal favorites in folders in my bookmarks menu of Firefox.
I can search the bookmarks saved in the signet library.
This gives a good selection of results containing information about the bookmark (web) name, access date etc but NOT the location of the folder in my bookmarks menu.
How to identify the location of the bookmark FOLDER in my bookmarks menu of Firefox?Take a look at these three extensions and see that we have the features you want.
