The message says "your server has unexpectedly terminated connection, possible causes include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.  Since the installation of this program about a month ago I still was able to send an email.

    I'm not a fan of the AOL software. Personally I would not use AOL as my Internet service provider. I only had a close encounter with the AOL software in recent years. Finally, the problem has been solved and it was not caused by the AOL software but he could have easily.

    AOL has always provided a brand of software developed by others.     First of all, see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 and see if your antivirus interferes.  Some are known with play with WinMail and its messages and the database.  Then compact and repair the database (see www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/), and then see if it boots and your account works fine.  You may need to delete your account, compact and repair the database, and then add it back again.  But first, make sure that your antivirus is not that live up to WinMail.  www.Microsoft.com/security_essentials seems to work very well.
