Hello

If I try "Explores the experience pack" then the option screen comes up but when you click on start programs above, you hear the click but nothing happens.

It is interesting to snipping tool 2 does not work!

I downloaded the MS pack and reinstalled it but still not good.

Any ideas anyone?

Thank you

Hmm did you install Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 on your system?

Microsoft recommends that these minimum system requirements for Microsoft the Pack for Tablet PC 2005 experience:

Windows XP for Tablet PC Edition 2005, English language
Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1
Windows Media Player 10 (required for the transfer of the media)
At least 50 MB of available disk space on your hard drive

Perhaps you should also check some details and more info on this page of MS:

  • Cannot start Windows 7 message and passed through the repair. SYSKEY problems?

I received a call that the security program, we have installed last year had been compromised. We bought this company safety program. Then they asked to get on computer, which they did. Then they showed through the event viewer that the computer has been used by others. Started sounding fishy and then they wanted to buy us another program. I told him that I wanted him out of the computer, I would call them back. The guy then pulled up the syskey and typed a password and is out. Worked very well after that but now it works and now I received a message that microsoft cannot be started. The sykey is too ride with my original to enter the computer password?

Examine your computer to be totally compromised.  You follow the recommended procedures for identity theft.

Do not use the computer or go online for nothing. Re-install your system or have done to you.

Notify your banks, credit cards, the police and the post office.

Never allow people to connect to your computer, unless you are quite comfortable, that they are worthy of trust.  You have been scammed.

  • Cannot start programs - OPEN WITH missing function

A few days ago, I tried to download and install a chess in Chessbase engine, a database utility. I did not. I remember at one point a flashing horizontal line in the upper left corner of a window black arise at a time, so that illuminates what could have transpired. Basically, I tried to get out without making any damage, but it was not to be the case. Immediately after that, I noticed that many programs Office now had ChessBase icons instead of those who were there previously. In addition, whenever I would try to run any program, including Firefox, Word, etc. it would immediately launch the basic chess program. I did some reading, tinkered around (oops) and restored the original icons for the desktop, but not their original function.

I am more able to launch ANY program installed (MS WORD 97, for example) by using the OPEN WITH option, that has completely disappeared. I am not able to access the recovery files via the control panel because when I select "Open system restore", the error message in the recovery area States that "System Restore could not be opened."

When I followed the trail into a .exe file (for MS Word, for example), I can't open it. I tried following some tips on a couple of occasions involving typing in commands in the search box (for example, regedit.exe) but never, it opens the file automatically, or makes a double click. Needless to say (but I say that! LOL) right-click to access the OPEN WITH feature is never an option, because it no longer exists in the menu!

I use a method 'diverted' to access the internet (start-> all programs-> CCleaner (folder)-> CCleaner Homepage. This puts me in the Firefox browser online where I can ask for help. Help! (LOL)

Try to start the restoration of the system of the box executer run from the start menu, type rstrui.exe in the box.  If it does not try to run it from a safe secure with command prompt with the same control rstrui.exe.

  • Cannot start programs!

    Hello

I fight to install programs on my mac.

I have a subscription cloud, but under a different username (same computer). When I try to install programs, it allows me, but when I try to start them up it checks the validation and does not allow me to open them. It briefly (less than one second) appears with renew your subscriptions and declares that I signed as long as the former name of the user. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but he still remembers the former identification code Adobe despite it constantly evolving.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

Did you sign out of your old account? Go to Adobe.com to your browser and sign out then go to the CC desktop application and make sure that the old account is out as well. If you have a password help or Keychain Access, make sure that the AutoFill is turned off.

  • Cannot start program with vmware-the unit - helper.exe

    Hello community,

First of all, I have an Internet Explorer with the vmware-the unit - helper.exe

I can run mode of the unit and can also start Internet Explorer of the UnityStartMenu.

    My config is:

    HostOS: Windows 7 64-bit Enterprise

    AntiVirus: Sophos 9.0.0

    VMware: WS 7 build-203739

VM: Windows XP SP2 with IE 6

    Startup of IE command:

    "c:\Program Files (x 86) \VMware\VMware Workstation\vmware - unity - helper.exe"-run "h:\VM\VMware_VM\Win XP_SP2_unitymode\vm.vmx" "" C:\Programme\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE. "." EXE ".

The next test that I did.

Start the VM - & gt; View - & gt; activate the Mode Unity - & gt; launch IE using the menu start VMware / work

Start the VM - & gt; View - & gt; activate the Mode Unity - & gt; Startup of IE using the above command / didn't work

Start the VM - & gt; View - & gt; disable the Mode Unity - & gt; startup of IE using the above command / didn't work

Shutdown VM - & gt;  startup of IE using the above command / didn't work

I don't get the error message when I run the command. I found some clues that this "tool" does not work with Windows and can only be used on Linux hosts.

You also have a similar experience?

Thanks a lot for the effort you

I wish you merry Christmas and happy new year.

    concerning

    Nico

Kiss = Keep it simple and stupid

Running a program with vmware-the unit-helper is only a function on Linux hosts. We have had a few requests to add it to Windows hosts, but this isn't a feature on Windows now.

  • Cannot start Thunderbird without hanging and force quit. [Mac] Developed after trying to remove a large amount of emails. Unknown CAUSE (problem gone)

I made unusable Thunderbird! Whenever I start it now, it immediately crashes and I have to force him to leave.

I have deleted thousands of emails, file by file and he was fine, but I must have overloaded it with work or something, because it crashed. Now, I can't even try solve the problems, because it does not actually work.

I reinstalled it - same problem. I tried to open it in safe mode - same problem.

    Help!

Restart the operating system in safe mode with network. This loads only the basics needed to start your computer while allowing Internet access. Click on your operating system for instructions on how to start in safe mode: Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, OSX

You know that this safe mode information is based on knowledge of apple.

    Satalillite C660

    I can't start on windows 7.
I get a blank screen and cursor is not serious what I have no recovery disk.

I tried F8 and to repair, but even once, it just goes to the empty screen.

    Any ideas?

    Hello

Please switch on and press F2 to enter the BIOS.
In BIOS check if the HARD drive is recognized. The HARD drive should appear on the first page of the BIOS.
If it is not recognized, it means that your HARD drive is dead.
In this case, you will need to replace the HARD drive and install the system once more.

You said you don t have the right recovery disk, here you can order one:

  • Cannot start on the screen and can not access early startup options

Original title: no access "advanced boot options".

I've had my new Sony Vaio laptop for a little less than two months now, it came preloaded with Windows 8. However this afternoon after startup, I got a blue screen, followed by the message: "repair disk errors. It may take more than an hour to finish '. After less than 10 minutes, it restarted itself, only to start on a black screen with a cursor. When I stop or put it to sleep, it will start ONLY at the back screen after a short while on its loading screen "VAIO". Windows does not make me a "Advanced Boot options" as it should, so I have no access to any system restore, update them or safe mode options.

The only thing I've been able to think is to ask a Windows 8 install disc my manufacturer because I don't have access to an iso of windows 8 DVD/USB to boot from. Are there other options I can try as I wait to hear from Sony on an installation disk? I am so far not impressed with 8 in all, the system "Advanced Boot options" auto seems ridiculous to me.

I looked at the options for creating the installation of Windows 8 media, and I have access to another computer running Windows Vista to create this, but I don't have access to a product key of Windows 8, because my Sony notebook came with the operating system pre-installed, and I couldn't find a key product or on the laptop itself , or anywhere in the documentation that accompanies it. For this reason, the Installation of Windows 8 media doesn't seem to be an option for me.

However I saw a feature on my phone that allows me to start directly on the boot advanced options. an assist beside my power button which, when I hold while the laptop is turned off, starts directly at the menu said.

Now that I have access to advanced startup options, I tried an auto-recovery, he said was not possible, and I also had the same thing when you attempt a system refresh, so was the only thing I was able to reset to the factory settings.

I still have no idea what triggered the problem, or why it was not possible for automatic retrieval or update it, however it seems to work fine now that it is restored to factory settings, though not ideal or practical.
