Cannot start Windows 7 message and passed through the repair. SYSKEY problems?

I received a call that the security program, we have installed last year had been compromised. We bought this company safety program. Then they asked to get on computer, which they did. Then they showed through the event viewer that the computer has been used by others. Started sounding fishy and then they wanted to buy us another program. I told him that I wanted him out of the computer, I would call them back. The guy then pulled up the syskey and typed a password and is out. Worked very well after that but now it works and now I received a message that microsoft cannot be started. The sykey is too ride with my original to enter the computer password?

Examine your computer to be totally compromised.  You follow the recommended procedures for identity theft.

Do not use the computer or go online for nothing. Re-install your system or have done to you.

Notify your banks, credit cards, the police and the post office.

Never allow people to connect to your computer, unless you are quite comfortable, that they are worthy of trust.  You have been scammed.

I have a few problems on my laptop [Acer 3810 t]

    -The first problem
My mobile give me screen "cannot start windows' who have 2 choices: run the Startup Repair tool and boot normally. I chose to fix it, but nothing happens and stuck "starting windows" and gives unmountable boot volume 'blue screen '. the Dungeon of blues screen appear (for laptop is a not restart). So I turned off my phone and turn it back on it. the "could not start" screen again and I chose to start normally. but the result is negative. My portable Dungeon cannot start windows. Because of that I am using the advanced boot option and choose all the boot type such asit cannot load the safemode, last configuration etc, but the result is the same, you cannot start windows. in safe mode, its stuck in loading fileinfo.sys. I do not give up to try again with the advanced boot option. until I have a bad situation. My laptop can only 1 file in safe mode and blues screen do not appear again (my laptop only return at the beginning of start or restart)

    -The second problem
because it cant solved, I want to reinstall my laptop. My OS is Vista 32 bit (pre-installed). I want to install the new operating system, windows 7. I use Dsik Flash bootable USB to install Windows 7. But in the BIOS, it is detected as a USB HDD. So I set my BIOS to load USB HDD to the first order. the installation can be done, but only until the "start Setup" screen and its deadlock. I have it wait up to an hour, but nothing happens. So I'm going to BIOS, change SATA mode to IDE mode AHCI. Then load the USB and go "installation program start screen. but the new problem is the installation of window does not detect my hard drive. So I can not choose the place to install the operating system. I have to load the driver, but I did not. Again to load the configuration to AHCI and IDE, until I get my HDD can detected in IDE mode. So I think I can move easily, I choose custom installation and choose the hard drive to install the operating system. But unfortunately, at the beginning of the process, after choosing the OS, the Installer gives error if installation location the installation failed. (I forgot the error message)

    -The third problem
So far, I can't spend 'startup begins' as well in mode IDE and AHCI. Also bootmgr in my hard disk is missing, so I can't go to move the startup repair or the startup option in my HDD as before

  • Satellite C650-1CP - cannot start Windows

My C650, running on Windows 7 could not start properly today. When turn on/off he went to the Windows Error Recovery screen and gave me two options: run a startup repair and start Windows normally. I clicked on the repair option and on the bottom it says windows is loading files, then it's another loading screen, and finally to a black screen, which, after a few seconds, a cursor appears. No matter how long I left my laptop on nothing changes. So I decided to choose the second option, and he went to the splash screen windows with the logo of the movement. This form lasted around a minute, and then a blue screen with an error, which is then passed to a black screen. To see this error, I completely disabled the auto reboot on system failure in the F8 options and once restarted, he took me to the same error page.

On the blue screen error was as follows:
    UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME

She was followed by information saying that it's maybe a software / hardware problem and also to try safe mode.

Technical information at the bottom were the following:

    STOP: 0X000000ED (0XFFFFFA8003DDFA50, 0XFFFFFFFFC0000185, 0 X 0000000000000000, 0 X 0000000000000000)

I don't have a recovery disk, if I looked on websites have said recovery is built in. I also tried safe mode, repair your computer, last known config and other options in the F8 key, but these do not properly load and I end up on the black screen with a cursor again.

I had originally to Exchange my laptop in a week to buy it because it was defective and I had a little less than 11 months, I wonder if there is a solution to this problem and also know if I am covered under warranty for this problem. Thank you.

    Hey,.

Bluescreens are mainly problems of software or drivers so I think that reinstalling Windows would help to get rid of this.

Why you don t have a Toshiba Recovery disk? I mean in the user manual it clearly written that you have create such a floppy yourself and it only takes a few minutes and you need to blank DVDs. All that s.

The recovery disk contains an image of the settings from the factory with all the drivers and tools. It is an image pre-tested by Toshiba so everything will work after the installation of recovery. With this record, you are on the safe side.

Anyway, you can order a recovery disc here:
    https://backupmedia.Toshiba.EU/landing.aspx

Software problems are not covered by the warranty. Of course, you can make the laptop to an authorized service provider and guys are going to reinstall to factory settings, but you have to pay for this service.

    Hello

hope you can help, my computer Toshibal L40 laptop on commissioning began by displaying the following error message:

    * "Cannot start Windows. a recent change in the software hardware might be causing... » *

    It offers the possibility of:
    "* Launch Startup Repair option" * "

I chose this. WIndows seems to load up, but then I get the following error message:

Installed program cannot start. Click OK to turn off the computer *.

I lost the recovery disk, but attempted to load the recovery console by using a windows XP disk, but it gave me error message more. Advice would be very welcome.

For the installation of Vista you don't need SATA driver but for Windows XP Home edition you need. Is no problem at all.

The question is what you want to do now? If you want to use Vista just use recovery media and you will have factory again.
    No problem at all.

  • Equium L20 - cannot start Windows mode of

    Hello

I was wondering if you can help me. I have an Equium L20 - 197, windows xp home edition. (Also technically challenged!  :)) When I booted my computer laptop first time today, I received this message-

«We are sorry for the inconvenience, but windows did not start successfully upward...» »
and he gave me a few methods of commissioning:
    Safe mode
    Safe mode with networking
    Safe mode with command prompt
Last good Configuration know (your most recent settings that worked)
    and
    Start Windows normally

I was able to start press start windows normally and start the computer very well. I turned off the computer OK, then it was restarted later without any problems. I then restored in a frame earlier that the system did not work well. Restore seemed to go OK but then my computer froze, then were shut down by pressing the power button.

However, the laptop will now not reboot. Just as I think it starts it goes to the error message and none of the options will work to start the computer, and I am now stuck on an endless loop of the above message.

I don't want to use the product recovery disc, that he will wipe away all of the hard drive and I have the info I need access to! I have a recovery CD product for a Fujitsu which has windows xp edition family sp 1 on him. Is it possible that I can use this to start my computer or is there something else I need to do? I thought after pressing F12 and if it is possible to use the other drive Fujitsu to launch boot my system but do not know if this is possible. I don't have an xp disk from toshiba installation disc, when I bought the computer. :(

I learned by a guy from the computer to the phone that sounds as if I need a new hard drive but would like to explore other methods before you go this route.

Thank you very much in advance for any help you can give me. Susi

    Hi SusiB_1,

Unfortunately, if you can start Windows t in any of these modes you have only one option and that is reinstall Windows. I mean you should do? You can do anything in this case

As you wrote wipes disc, the whole HARD disc Toshiba Recovery and that's right because it of needed to recover to factory settings. But normally you should have a backup of your data or not?
If this isn't the case, you can access the data, if you put the HARD drive into an external HARD drive enclosure. From another computer, you now have access to these data.

By the way: for Toshiba recovery disc you n t need a product key. Everything is already done in the recovery image and no activation is necessary. :)

Until the boot mode does not reach. But the initial test (with logo) succeeded. Takes a long time and finally gives an error:

Cannot start Windows. Maybe it was because of the recent small difference is the hardware or software configuration. To fix this error:
    1. Insert your Windows installation disc, restart the computer (the complete transmission wasn't)

    Hey,.

And why do you think the hard drive is faulty?
Have you ever tried the repair your computer option? Usually with this option you can restore factory in a few minutes.

Also if you have the Toshiba recovery disc you can also restore the factory of this disc. Just boot from it and follow the instructions on the screen. You need to do a few clicks only, installation with all the drivers and tools happen automatically.

If you have any other questions, please let us know! :)

I can do that, but first of all, I don't want to try to save the data (and photos) from a hard disk.
Is it possible, for example, go to BACK when booting with the recovery CD, and copy the data on USB?

Furthermore, all my data on E:\ partition. Will be crushed it during the installation of recovery?

    No, it is not possible!
If you should start up using recovery disc then the recovery process would be started and the whole HARD disk may be formatted!

You can try to start by using a WinPE
    http://www.LiveCD.com/

This allows you to start the device and access the data on the HARD drive

You could also build own Windows live CD

  • Cannot start Windows defender in Vista

    Original title: 0x800705by
    Windows Defender does not start

    Hello

What is the exact error message you get when you try to start Windows defender?

    You can follow these methods:

Method 1: Check if the Windows defender service is running on the computer.
    a. Click Start, type services in the start search box and then click on Services in the list programs.
    b. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue.
    c. double-click the Windows Defender service and then in the startup type box, click Automatic.
    d. click OK.
    e. make sure that the service is set to automatic and started.

Method 2: Disable any security software on the computer and try to turn on windows defender and check.

Important: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable
your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you
are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Method 3:

See the article mentioned below and follow the troubleshooting steps.
