Hardware devices not detected or not working - Mr. Fixit
http://support.Microsoft.com/GP/hardware_device_problems
Make sure that Windows is updated appropriately that there have been several USB updates.
1 check that the driver letters for them, for a player, if the drive of the default drive letter is changed that
is happening. Mine was h: I added a device that took H: and the player stopped. So I put it to H:
and the other device to J: and everything worked again. If necessary Start - type in the area of research-> disk management
find the top of the list - made top - right click RUN AS ADMIN
Don't forget to remember MP3 must be set to the PSG to sync with WMP and MSC to copy and delete
files and update the firmware.
If no joy follow these steps:
You may need a powered hub. (all the USB ports on your computer are not powered, often only 2)
Try these:
Make a Restore Point
Control Panel - Device Manager - click in the empty area - VIEW - show hidden devices
Here, your devices are the MP3 player.
Now look everywhere EXCEPT the USB controllers for your devices (cannot be found) and if you find
It RIGHT CLICK and UNINSTALL all.
now go to the USB and UNINSTALL ALL controllers in the category, but the category itself.
APPLY/OK
RESET
This refresh battery USB and hopefully it will allow the unit to install. (You may need a powered hub)
Here is the similar procedure under XP, Vista is the same, except that we need clear specific devices, as appropriate.
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310575
This is a utility to help you, but do 1 above.
USBDeview is a small utility that lists all USB devices currently connected to your computer, thus
as all USB devices that you previously used. Run Options and check the 1st three choices to see to it there
Is there.
http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/usb_devices_view.html
You must remove all instances of the devices and restart.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
If the above does not work (and it should be considered the preparatory work).
This works for any MP3 player when the USB stack is not corrupted:
1 player to delete and restart computer - switch to MTP mode on your MP3 player
Regardless of what brand of MP3 you have
1. check this Just In Case

2. does not present (web page as reference)
http://KB.SanDisk.com/app/answers/detail/A_ID/192/related/1/kW/E200 * / page/2/r_id/101834
In XP: Start - RUN - CMD
In Vista: (Do this way!)
Start - type in the search box - find CMD top - RIGHT CLICK – RUN AS ADMIN
Copy and paste this command into windows XP or Vista CMD - press enter
NET local service localgroup administrators / add
3. then follow:
http://KB.SanDisk.com/app/answers/detail/A_ID/139/related/1/kW/E200 * / page/2/r_id/101834

Windows Media Player cannot synchronize with the Sansa player. Sync button frozen
OT: Button of Windows media player is frozen
I have a sansa and I tried to synchronize new songs from Windows Media player but the sync button is frozen, it wont let me press the key.
Hello Natalie_Haaga,
1. were you able to synchronize this device with Media Player before?
2. is the player detected in Windows Explorer?
First check to see if the drive is detected on your computer. Try to copy the files of music from Windows Explorer.
Most MP3 players will appear as a "disk" on your computer, and you can browse the files on them by simply opening.
If you can do this, you should be able to copy / delete / move files between the MP3 player and the computer.
Also try to set media player to manually synchronize with Media Player. This article should help you with that:
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/sync-manually-in-Windows-Media-Player
I also see that some users have been able to synchronize this by changing the settings of the player and set it to mass storage device.
I suggest you consult the manual on how to change this setting for mass storage device and to check if you have the same problem.
Thank you

A music file does not sync on my MP3 player, if .mp3 or .wma
I am uisng WMP 12 on a Win7 system. I sync a 100 of music files on my MP3 player without problem. But a recent file syncs simply cannot. The file was originally a .m4a file that I converted to .mp3 via iTunes. I tried to synchronize as a .mp3 file but no luck. I then converted it to .wma, but still not able to synchronize. I tried to add to a playlist (successfully), but it still will not be synchronized. I reformatted the MP3 player, resynced and still no luck. Any ideas?

Satellite A110 - no bass while playing with the mp3 player
Hello...
I want to play my mp3 - but there's that no only the heights of the bass is there. When I burn songs on CD and play on a hifi-system string - they are OK - but when I want to play with media player there is no bass. I took a (Cinch) cable and connect it to the stereo and there is the problem with the low...-channel stereo is o.k. - cable is correctly mounted.
The mp3´s are not damaged... (When I burn an audio CD and play - the bass exists.) the RCA cable is OK - I checked it...Is it possible that the sound chip is damaged? In the settings audio are no failures indicated.
more: I connected my mp3 player with Cinch cable on the system stereo with the same songs I ve got it on my laptop... impeccable acts...
Greetings
SilviaHello
I guess that the Toshiba Virtual sound utility has been pre-installed on this laptop.
There you can change and set the audio settings for example: level trueBass.
I think you should open this utility and if you n t know the option use simple help this utility
You have to press F1 to launch the help document.PS: If you have connected the laptop to stereo and use the stereo settings you should try to disable the virtual sound utility on the laptop

Hello1. with the device that you are trying to synchronize?
2 - is the first time you try to sync Windows media player?Windows Media Player has encountered a problem during the synchronization of the file to the portable device. Because this error can occur for various reasons, there is no single solution. To resolve the problem, try to disconnect and reset. See your device manual for specific instructions on performing this procedure. In some cases, this error may occur if you try to synchronize a file hidden on a device. To resolve this problem, delete the file in the sync list or change the properties of the file so that the file is not hidden. For more information, see the article below,

Suddenly cannot sync with iTunes or iPhoto
I have synced my phone right of iTunes until I updated to iOS 10.
Since the update, I am unable to sync to iPhoto or iTunes.
iPhoto gives me the error "Pictures on the Filmstrip of < name of the phone > cannot be imported because the device is locked with a password"
It is not locked.
iTunes says "iTunes could not connect to < name of the phone > iPhone because an invalid response was received from the device.
My 5s iPhone isn't jailbroken. The screen is NOT locked. There is NO other restriction on the account access code.
It is my first time, try to connect from the update to iOS 10.
All other threads I've seen on this subject are the 2012-2014 period. Everyone says to restart the phone, or APPROVE this computer when asked. I've done both. Several times.
I'm on an old first generation Mac Pro. I can't go to OS 10.7.5 with it, but have never had any problems so far.
IOS 10 does not work with older operating systems?
Any other suggestions to get it to work again?
An iPhone with iOS 10 requires the latest version of iTunes, 12.5.1, which requires OS X 10.9.5 or above.

Playlist published on iPhone cannot sync with iTunes?
Is it possible to have your reading list itunes 'sync 'd' to align with an editing tool you did directly on your iPhone or your device? for example, I have a reading list put in place and when you listen to it if a song comes on I don't like or is not suitable for this playlist I remove it or delete it. Problem is if I now synchronize my phone with itunes that did not have these deleted songs it will just add. It is my understanding that if "pay you" for music, Apple, that all changes are sync'd across the cloud either way so in this case the next time I open my itunes it looks... "" blah blah playlist has changed you want to apply these changes to your itunes or go back. " Seems the perfect answer except for the fact that if you don't pay for & don't want to pay for the music of Apple there is no option for this. If this is possible on the cloud, why is it not possible on my local wi - fi that is configured to synchronize my phone, so every time that I go home, it gives the same message & I can update my version of the same way itunes playlist. The only solution Apple offered is simply to delete the playlist from iTunes, tick to manually manage your music which means that you can no longer synchronize the playlist & just add any new music to her dropping them overall. I'm not interested in workaround solutions that constitute a huge compromise on the function of the phone has been designed (or in this case... not designed). I forgot a simple solution here or is this a case of big brother apple order once more to limit my access to a simple solution until I have pay for a service I don't want? Thank you.
The only solution I can offer is a gross workaround. After you make your changes, create a new playlist on your iPhone and select the one that you have edited to add songs to the new. You can also create new reading list (empty) first and then change this one rather than the original. Now when Sync you with iTunes, the original playlist is overwritten, but your new copy won't - he should get copied into your iTunes library, where you can delete the original and rename the new copy changed to match the name of the original playlist. Is not ideal, I know, but the only way I know to do this only if you sign up for iCloud music library.

Problem with the MP3 player widget
I have some questions. I have "Add files to download" and then added the audio file of my possessions, but when he tries to link it, Muse crashes or ends with an exclamation point in a triangle. What Miss me?
Hello
Please try now and let me know.
1. After you link the file and other details in the Options panel update go to file > preview of Page in a browser and check if the widget works fine or not. If audio player shows fine and plays well, then it means something (firewall, proxy, etc.) blocking muse to create the preview in Design view.
2 I noticed you added some CSS custom in the Widget, please ensure its correct or just remove it from there and check if it works very well.
3. try a different audio file (small size) and see if it works. If it works fine, make sure you enter correct file to the original file name.
