Cannot transfer books for my Adobe 505 OF

I posted this on another thread, but it seems to have lost among other positions.

First of all I would like to make it clear that I did all the possible.available updates to both the Sony reader, FROM Adobe and eBook Library.

I allowed the reader and Adobe FROM and I have an Adobe ID

The e-Book Library and Adobe TO "recognize" the Sony reader as it appears from the PRS 505 icon on the two shelves.

The drive was purchased, to the United Kingdom legitamately [John Lewis]

I can buy books OK - downloaded the Adobe of the Waterstone United Kingdom.

When I try to drag the title in the 505 won't let me IR ["without permission to copy the document here" "]

If I try the same within the e-Book Library [I can pass the book here by importing My Documents] I am new permission denied [ transfer of this e-Book in sliding annual must allow first of all the Adobe DRM protected content player.] [Would you Llike to launch Adobe Digital Editions and allow the reader now?]

If I click YES FROM Adobe opens, but I give myself no prompt to allow. When I click on authorize computer from the drop, he says "this computer is allowed to...» "follow-up of my e-mail address which is also my Adobe ID

It's a hideous circle I can not escape and makes the reader virtually unusable.

Contacted Support Adobe but after some e-mails where, essentially, they said "are you sure that you did everything right" my case has now been referred to as the technical department - and things went very, very quiet. "

Anyone out there have an idea what to do next.

Note: I'm not a computer Whiz beyond basic operations.

If Ctrl-Shift-E does not it probably means that your Sony Reader is not allowed with an AdobeID.

If Digital Editions is not to ask you to authorize your Sony Reader with your AdobeID ADE at startup or when you plug in the player it means you said she ask no more (clicked on her don't ask again this box of the device).

Unfortunately there is no easy way for you to cancel it.  The list of devices is stored in the manifest.xml file that is stored in your My Digital Editions (under My Documents) directory.

To change the manifest.xml:

1.) quit Digital Editions

2.) make a backup copy of the manifest.xml (let's call it something like manifest.good)

3.) manifest.xml opened in Notepad

4.) it appears as a great long line of xml, and you are looking for a tag called started the begginning this and select up to the end of the tag that looks like called

5.) If you have connected more than one Sony Reader, there may be several of them.  Remove all assure them.

6.) save the file (manifest.xml) and stop going out Notepad

7.) make sure that you have connected the Sony Reader

8.) Launch Digital Editions

9.) the Device Setup Wizard should appear.

(a.) NOT to click on the checkbox "don't ask again for this device.

(b) don't click the button "authorize device".
