  Please help me? !!!  I think I accidentally deleted a driver needed to open downloaded files.  My laptop HP Pavilion 7000 has will not open any file that download.  I click on the hyperlink on the Web page that I want to download and the item is displayed to download and appears ("download completed").  It appears at the top of the download list.  When I click with the left button on the point and click Open or save the file, the mouse animated backgr appears momentarily and then nothing.  Nothing happens.  It won't show me page I want to see!  I tried all possible combinations.  Open the file with the software choice.  Sometimes it will open if I click Open with msworks but in gibberish.  Augh!  I've tried everything.  I closed my firewall thought that might block downloads.   Dreamweaver is trying to run Photoshop CC 2015 which was replaced by Ps CC 2015.5 after the update.

  Try changing Dreamweaver preferences to open Photoshop in CC 2015.5 type file

• How to open my file after ' cannot find - filename-"error message?

  OK, the bottom line is, InDesign crashes and I can't recover my file. I get a "File not found" error message when I try to open the file.

  I use CS6 on a MacBookAir, OS X Yosemite.

  I tried to find the "InDesignFileRecovery" folder, I can not find anywhere, is not in my file library or Caches.

  However, I work in dropbox, so I headed over to dropbox to recover from their "previous versions". It starts to get weird. There are a lot of versions (I back up very regularly), but when I download a previous version (I know was fine) it downloads with the extension indd.txt. So I remove the txt extension and keep the indd and everything seems fine, but then that recovered file gives the same message. I tried renaming the file opening and recovered that same "file not found" error message.

  I can open InDesign and open the file from the previous day, but nothing of the box of older versions of work this day of. I'm SO sick of what's going on. It happened to me last week, so far I lost 20 hours work :-(

  I tried quit InDesign and restart the Mac, does not help. The only thing I can think of is to "save under" every two hours, at least, if all goes well then I lose only 2 hours of work.

  I found the answer on another thread. The solution is to open in InDesign and when you select the file to open, choose "open copy". It worked! Cannot believe it. Still don't know why dropbox tactics did not work well...

  I recently had an automatic windows update and since then I can't open .zip files and my files wihtin a folder have been reorganized without doing me anything.  When I try to open the .zipfiles (which were downloaded on the internet July 2010) w Internet explorer tries to oppen a component but done this several times per second, so I get white flashes but no connection. I don't know what they opened with before.  The only way I can stop the flashing windows (which eventually come with the message "not responding" is to restart the computer.  However if I try to get on the internet, normally there no problem.  Some of the text files, are some of the videos.   Before this recent update, I never had a problem opening these files.  Can you please help.

  HI - in Windows Explorer, I am trying to choose a program to open a file with.  I right click then select "Open with", then select the program .exe file.  However, when I click Open, the program I selected does not appear in the list of "other programs."  In addition, once I get it appears in the 'Other programs' list, the program will automatically display when I right click and select 'open with '?  It does on my other computer.  I try to open a picture in Photoshop Elements (as a shortcut) and would like the program appears when I right-click as well as show as an option for a program to open the jpeg format with Windows Photo Viewer (as it does on my other computer).  Thanks for the help!
