Canon Lide Scanner not shown as option 10 items to import

I use windows 7 and a trial version of 10 items. On my version of Elements 9 my Canon Lide 100 shows as an import option, but it is not available in 10 items. In the 10 elements Organizer, I see the options in the preferences of the choice of a scanner but nothing to the editor on the scanners.

I don't remember having to do something special in Elements 7 or 9 to get the scanner to work.

I was about to buy the upgrade to 10 tomorrow, but I'm not sure I want to, if the scanner does not work.

You should find two files in the import-export folder by going to the following location. Move it to the main plug-ins folder.

C: program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Photoshop elements 10\Optional Plug-Ins\Import-Export

Note: on 32-bit Windows program files.

Load file jad in the device rather than cod using javaloader.

    1. copy your cod and jad file in bin JDE (ex: C:\Program Research In Motion\BlackBerry JDE 4.6.0\bin\).

    2. run the following command from there (you can create a batch file (* .bat) and just click)

    JavaLoader - usb charge applicationName.jad

  • Impossible to get Scanner Canon Lide to work in PSE 10

I just belatedly upgraded to Snow Leopard... and got my PES 6 to run without freezing using a suggestion posted by Barbara B. ('Photoshop Elements for Snow Leopard') - removal of the Twain Adobe driver.  My Canon Lide 80 scanner always worked smoothly in PES 6 in Snow Leopard, but PSE 6 broke before removing Adobe plug-ins, Twain.  Given that I had not updated PES for a while, I decided to download the trial of 10 PSE and put it to the test before I bought.

The first thing I did was move the driver ScanGear CS X 7.2 in the import module, as I did in previous versions of the EP.  The next thing I did was make sure you that Rosetta has been loaded on my operating system.  I think that with this new system, that Rosetta is used automatically without having to put a check in the box, as was the case in Leopard, because there is no box to check and the Apple care tech told me that he would go to the need.  When I boot 10 PSE, I get the message "one or more plug-ins is currently not available on your system...» ", States of system information that she was not able to load and ScanGear CS 7.2 X plug-in does not as a choice for inporting.

This is a great scanner, so I am not disposed to landfill, PSE 6 work so bad comes to worse, but I would switch to PES 10.  I'm running on OS X 10.6.8.

    Does anyone have a solution?

You must go to Applications > PES 10 > plugin optional are > ImportModules, and move the TWAIN of Plug-ins plugin > Modules to import before scanning with any scanner. However, if you need rosetta to scan, you will be able to scan in EPS, 8, 9 or 10, no matter that Rosetta is installed on your mac or not. There is no longer any support of Rosetta in PSE for PSE 8 is released. In this case, you can use Scan Gear or get a newer scanner, if there is no plugin intel native on the download page of canon for your model.

  • Canon LiDE 700F scanner driver for OS10.11

Since the El Capitan upgrade my Canon LiDE700f scanner is not recognized.

I can't find a new driver for OS10.11 on Canon website.

    Any advice?

    Hi Alan_20,

I understand that you are looking to get your Canon scanner to work with your Mac after upgrade to El Capitan. According to our records, there is software available for this device. It may help to check the software updates (via the Apple menu) before you connect your scanner.

Look for software updates before connecting your printer or a scanner. This updates the list of the most recent supported on your Mac printer and scanner models. If you do not check the updates before trying to connect a new printer, you won't see the software available when you connect your device.

  • Windows 7 in conflict with scanner Canon Lide 110

    To the right,.

Our school has established that the Smartboard software is conflicting with Canon Lide 110 Scanner Software and Microsoft Windows 7. Logs of computer errors identified this problem according to Canon.

The scanner Canon Lide 110 works with Windows XP and Win 7, but not with Windows 7 (when Smart interactive whiteboard software is installed)

I must say that there is no problem with the Smart or Windows 7 software, as both continue to work regardless of Canon software or smart Technologies or not being installed. However, when the chip is removed the scanner Canon works on Windows 7.

Have you ever had a similar conflict? You have all of the solutions that we have 12 smartboards in our school and we can act is more 12 scanners with Windows 7

  • Windows 8 does not have a driver for a Canon 9950F scanner

My Canon 9950 Scanner (Canoscan toolbox) worked on my XP and Vista OS, but there is no driver for my new system of Windows 8. Can anyone help?

I hope this helps someone. I have a Dell XPS 8700 with 8.1 Win 64 bit on an SSD. As everyone knows the drivers Canon 9950f only go up to Win 7 64 bit. So I installed the twain driver for win 7 64 bit and the Canoscan for win 7 64 bit. I installed using the compatibility option. I rebooted and plugged my USB and it works! I love my 9950f and stressed it would not work on my new computer.

  • Acrobat 9 Pro refuses to communcate with my new scanner Canon LiDE 220.

I have been using Acrobat 9 Pro with a scanner Canon LiDE 210 years.  My scanner broke and I replaced it with the 220 LiDE.  I get an error message - 5,155,55 "cannot communicate with scanner.  The scanner works very well with its own software.  I do a lot of scanning and must work quickly - there is not time to "bypass" even in one.  Canon support said that Adobe has stopped supporting twain drivers and that there is a plugin somewhere for that.  I can't find.  Can anyone help?  (Windows 7)

    Hi teresak5103585,

That's right, that adobe does not support Twain drivers.

Scan using Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) instead of TWAIN (Windows XP only).

Acrobat supports Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) drivers. If your scanner is supported by two pilots, then select the WIA driver in the device menu in the dialog box create a PDF from Scanner. Scan the document.

    Kind regards

  • Canon 9950F scanner does not work with 10 items in Windows 7

After the upgrade to 64-bit Windows 7, I was able to use my scanner Canon 9950F with 10 items. When you try to import an image I get the following error message: "no WIA compatible devices have been detected. Make sure your device is connected to the computer and the power is turned on. I tried to update the driver compatible Windows 7 provided by Canon, but that doesn't seem to help. Canon support advised me to turn to the Adobe community. It seems so, Miss me the WIA driver, but since I have already installed the latest updates of Canon I'm not sure of where to get one. All faced a similar problem (solved)?

The TWAIN component must be installed:

Please let us know if it works for you.

  • driver for canon lide 100 anyone?

Cannot find a driver for scanner Canon Lide 100 to El captain

Hamrick Software VueScan includes drivers for this scanner without the need for the drivers of Canon. It is not a free software. Otherwise, you're probably done with this scanner on versions of OS X where Canon ended their support of the driver. I purchased the professional edition of VueScan over 3 years ago and all (frequent) updates are free.

  • Sorry, scanner could not be initialized. (Scanner not found.)

I use Mac OS X version 10.9.2 and HP all in one Officejet J6480.  The all-in-one is able to print but not scan.  Here is the error message.    None of your above worked for me.  Either you are the reference to a different version of the operating system Mac or another HP printer.  What would you recommend for my Mac and a printer?  Thank you.

Sorry, scanner could not be initialized.
    (Scanner not found.)

    Hi JeanneDave,

Thank you for visiting the Forums from the HP Support! I understand since the upgrade of the OS to 10.9 Mavericks you get an error "sorry scanner could not be initialized" with your HP Officejet J6480. After some research, there is no complete abailable features of software and drivers for the J6480 JO, that said that the printer would have been installed using the Apple updates. To get a better understanding of take a look below:

V10.9 OS X Mavericks: installing and using the printer on a Mac

Now, that being said, this means not you will not be able to scan just average there are a few different options, then you can use to see here to learn how to scan with or without HP software: how Scan: OS X v10.9

    I hope this helps!

    Thanks again,

  • Deskjet F4440 message "scanner not found".

When I try to open a HP Device Manager scan job, Scan Pro application opens, but the error message says "Sorry, scanner could not be initialized" and "scanner not found." The button new analysis on Scan Pro window is not active, nor is the new analysis options in the drop-down scan menu.

I had a HP complete uninstall using the ctrl-option-Apple key method, reinstalled the software, unchecked and re-selected printer in the preferences system, checked power and USB cables and so forth, but the scanner still does not work. The functions of the printer are working effectively.

    I am running OSX 10.4.11 on a 1.07 GHz PowerPC G4

Control-click the button on the right print queue opens the Deskjet F4400 printer; I can't find an option "Reset Printing System". Control-click in the box of the print/fax area with the list of printers don't open any new windows or provide no option. In my initial post, I neglected to include the fact that my machine is an iBook G4, not a unit of office, if that makes a difference.

  • scanner not recognized on Windows 10

I just bought a new computer Windows 10 and added my Canon MP216n printing and updated software of the Web site

Initially, everything worked and now the Canon Toolbox can not find scanner.  My computer windows 8 on the same WiFi considers it, and it works fine.  I don't know why it stopped working.  I removed the printer and reinstalled but the same result.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi ronwebber,

Please check the model number of the Canon printer you have.

Model number would be MF216n instead of MP216n imageCLASS?
