Windows 8 does not have a driver for a Canon 9950F scanner

My Canon 9950 Scanner (Canoscan toolbox) worked on my XP and Vista OS, but there is no driver for my new system of Windows 8. Can anyone help?

I hope this helps someone. I have a Dell XPS 8700 with 8.1 Win 64 bit on an SSD. As everyone knows the drivers Canon 9950f only go up to Win 7 64 bit. So I installed the twain driver for win 7 64 bit and the Canoscan for win 7 64 bit. I installed using the compatibility option. I rebooted and plugged my USB and it works! I love my 9950f and stressed it would not work on my new computer.

If it's not compatible, it is not possible but you can try to install drivers vista in "compatibility" mode

To install in compatibility mode do the following:

Click with the right button on the installer > properties > compatibility > choose OS

  • I'm considering buying a computer with Windows 7. Is there a driver for my Canon Multipass F50 printer? I have Office Professional for XP - can I load office software on the new computer with Windows 7?

I'm considering buying a computer with Windows 7.  Is there a driver for my Canon Multipass F50 printer?  I have Office Professional for XP - can I load office software on the new computer with Windows 7?

Page drivers Canon MultiPASS F50 & the downloads shows nothing for Windows 7 (or even for Vista), so I doubt that it works.

Microsoft Office XP is not compatible with Windows 7.  Office 2003 and Office 2007 are.

  • the location does not contain the driver * for required processor architecture

I'm trying to set up my hp laserjet as a shared printer on my network domestic. The printer is attached to a Win7 x 64 machine, all the other computers on my network are XP 32. When I try to load additional x 86 drivers on Win7 computer, I get the message: "the specified location does not contain the driver hp LaserJet 1320 PCL 5 for the architecture of processor required. I get this message, no matter which driver I try. I have tried several different choices of drivers XP 32. What I am doing wrong? where can I find the correct driver?

    Everyone,

After the announcement yesterday, all of a sudden today, in Windows Update, there is a new driver PCL 6, Microsoft Update. I had to uninstall the printer in order to obtain this update to install. After this update, the shared property now would allow me to install the x 86 drivers. This update was not there yesterday, got to admit that Microsoft has acted quickly on this one.

Brian & Jack thanks for trying to help!

    Hello:

You need this graphics driver for your configuration.

  • Computer does not recognize the driver for HL-DT-STDVDRRWGSA-H2OL ATA Device

    original title: HL-DT-STDVDRRWGSA-H2OL ATA Device

its as it disappeared from my machine. the computer will recognize the pilot but but the drive does not appear when I go to computer file. If you insert a cd in the drive, it runs but can not read the cd/dvd.

    Hello

Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total
a process that solves the problem.

Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.
RESTART this will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue
    below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward
cable or slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
contacts data with a pencil eraser.

Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and
manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.

    ===============================

Step 2: You have disc problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD
Burn and CD and DVD read). So it is not unusual for 1 or 2 operational so that other parts
    do it right.

Did you follow the Troubleshooting Guide for the reader who still does not work? There are
the entries in registry that the troubleshooter does not solve and those who "might" be the cause.

Check with your Maker system and a device for the two possible firmware updates and
the correct registry entries for your car.

Here are the keys that I of course are those in question - for the subkeys of the CD/DVD drive
as there will be other subkeys in these keys. Do not forget to ask specific keys involved as well as
    the parameters.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\IDE

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Hardware Profiles\0001\System\CurrentControlSet\Enum\IDE

  • WSD Print device does not have a driver

Help!  I have a new Pavilion of HP with Windows 7 Professional 64-bit Edition.  I'm trying to install a HP Officejet 4500 printer via a wireless router.  The computer detects the printer, but then gives me the error under Troubleshooting in devices and printers that the WSD print device does not pilot and therefore will not be installed.  There are other the home computers running Windows 7 that are able to connect and print.  Unfortunately, my son lost the printer installation cd so I downloaded the drivers on the internet and still get the above message. I tried even to connect the printer directly to the laptop and the laptop does not show even a usb connection.  I have completely restarted (with assistance from HP Support) the new operating system for laptop to factory settings and still am exp eriencing the same problems.

Can I go to a friends house and the laptop will detect and install this printer with absolutely no problem... What should I do?

    Hello leo.choo,

These are the drivers that are available for the HP OfficeJet 4500 printer.

I see that there are two models of printers. I don't know which version you have printer HP Officejet 4500 G510g all-in-one or the 4500 G510n all-in-one HP Officejet printer. There are separate drivers for every model.

I suggest you follow the link below, enter your model number to download the drivers for Officejet 4500 Wireless printer:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?OS=4062&LC=en&cc=us&DLC=en&sw_lang=&product=3986399

You can follow the link below to run, download and run the utility:

Or alternatively, you can download the drivers for the Windows 7 computer that works on another computer and use a thumb driver to copy on their computer and install it.

  • Windows 7 does not assign a drive letter

Windows does not automatically assign a drive letter to one of my discs usb hard or flash drives, if I go into disk management utility disk is still sitting there in line and assets and all I have to do is right click and assign a drive letter and everything works as usual. However, it is super annoying and there is no reason windows should not do this for me. I assure you there is no disc corrupt driver problems, jumpers or whatever it is out of whack, I'm a computer programmer myself. I just never fell on the situation and could not find an answer after looking here for 20 minutes and Googling autour and check other sources.

The name of the 32-bit driver is different from the name of 64-bit driver.  You create a Local Port which will basically copy the formatted print data from the part of xpmachine.

This is the KB how to perform this task
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/282842

    on Windows 7
    Add a printer
    Local printer
    Add to the local path
\\XPMACHINE\printersharename (make a word share name or you must ' "quote all)

Select the installed driver if you have connected the USB device

    Complete the wizard

    test page printed.
