• Why forms and landing pages do not stay tied on canvas campaign?

  I'll put up some test campaigns to run this week to test our integration between Eloqua and our two instances of SFDC (and get wet feet with the E10). Since I'm an addict of the E9 for several years, I still get the hang of the E10. Yesterday, I tried connecting my e-mails on campaign backdrop to the correct forms and landing pages and today I see that the links have disappeared. I also noticed that I can not connect two emails 'steps' in a form and a landing page, even if the emails from the links in the same form and the landing page. The system made me create duplicates on the canvas of the campaign. Anyone can shed light on what I'm doing wrong? Why the links disappear and I should have duplicates of the form and the landing page? Screen shot included below.

  My desktop computer has a series of bookmarks that I use at work. My home PC has another, different set of bookmarks that I use at home. I do not use sync and am not connected to sync on each PC. Why my favorites are the synchronization between two PCs? For example, I noticed several bookmarks near the top of my bookmark menu over a line of separation that I do not have to work. I deleted them. I come home and find those missing same bookmarks from my PC at home. I do not want to synchronize anything between the two computers, why what is happening?

  Thus, we are about to spread our first campaign of stream Nurture (woohoo!) and I'm trying to figure out how to do a segment that feed only new prospects (Eloqua contacts) who recently completed a form, without putting twice in the same person.

  Is there sort of to do so and to ensure that they will not re-entered in our feed, Nurture, because we do not want to receive them the same e-mail twice and pushed all the way up until the beginning of the stream of the innate?

  Aid or redirects to prior messages, that I may have missed would be super useful, thanks!

  The canvas of default campaign will not accept that a contact enter the campaign once; This can be checked by navigating up the gear icon > settings, make sure that the checkbox "Allow contacts to get into the campaign more than once..." is unchecked.

• Canvas campaign: can you bind a segment to a decision stage?

  In the Web of the campaign, can link you the segment immediately to a decision stage before a link to an e-mail? I am trying to create a campaign that sends an email to people who did not click on a previous email, but I can't bind the segment at the stage of decision email clicked. (See example below). For this particular message, I'll go ahead and exclude those who have clicked in the segment itself, if it is not ideal. I would still be able to do this on the canvas of the campaign, if possible.

• My HP Envy prints slowly with the wifi connection. Why?

  I am connected through my TimeCapsule (apple procut) throughout my entire House. The printer takes forever to print any documents I send to her. It takes a lot of time to receive information and as much time to print, line-by-line it takes a good 10 minutes per page, which is extremely frustrating, and I can't understand why it is so slow.

  We will set an IP address of the printer:
  
  -Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
  -Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
  -Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
  -On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range).  Yours is 10.0.1.2 a.200.  We use 10.0.1.220 for your printer.
  -Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
  -Enter the IP of your router (on the Page of the Network Config) for the gateway.
  -Enter for the first DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for second DNS.
  -Click 'apply '.
  
  Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.
  
  After that, you will have to redo 'Add printer' using the new IP address.

• PC may have the connection, but why MAC cannot have Anyconnect VPN?

  The lack of configuration ""anyconnect image disk0: /anyconnect -macosx- i386 - 2.5.2014 - k9.pkg "all the time."   Hi Lynne,

  This option is by design. The option "connect automatically" is always checked for any open network (such as a secure network) so that you do not manually connect (each time) if the laptop comes in the range of open network.

  If you do not automatically connect to an open network, then uncheck the option.

  If the option is checked, even if you do not want to connect to a network, there is no harm.

  If you have concerns, please let us know.

• Canvas campaign: filters common vs compare the Contact fields

  Is there a difference between using one or several Contact fields compare elements vs using a shared filter?

  In my campaign, I need to check if one of the three fields is equal to something specific (and therefore remove them from the campaign).  I couldn't achieve exactly the same results if I used a shared filter that sought the same criteria?

  1. the shared filter evaluates when someone passes through this point of decision.  It is different from that of a Segment in which a Segment is your first point of qualification for a campaign (so why someone "stays in the segment").  They actually stay in the segment so that they did not leave the campaign yet.  If the segment is more permissive, your filter shared between them, so that hardly leave the campaign according to your rule.

  2. I saw your other post on the date field.  You're right... when I try in the Web I get an error as well.  Definitely a bug in the interface user, as you can do in a segment.  I would say for now you use the shared empty contact filter and log a ticket with Support for the bug in the user interface.

• How to diagnose and difficulty entered perma-glued on canvas campaign E10?

  I have a campaign that seems to have 22 files stuck on a step.   My question is how can I diagnose the problem and help free these contacts to move to the next step?

  

  If you double-click on the number and scrolling to the right you can see why they are abandoned in this step. They are probably cancels his subscription, bouncebacks or who have already received the e-mail.

  Select the records and use the options on the bottom to move or to withdraw from the campaign.

• I had several times where images were missing, why is this?

  I am a professional photographer and make more than 60 weddings a year.  This year, I had so many frustrating meetings with Lightroom, where I would like to import the photos in my camera and make a collection with the name of couples.  Come back days later to change and open the application again and the photos have disappeared.  I don't understand how this is even possible.  I spend hours looking for my computer and they are not where.  I and beyond frustrated by this professional application.  It is said that it is data backup.  Then why every time find that some pictures will be missed?  Someone else has experienced this same problem?  Is there a secret place that they could hide that I do not know?

  There are a few ways that can become of the missing images:

  1. you move images on your hard drive, but don't use Lightroom to do. If Lightroom loses track of their location.

  2. you rename images, but don't use Lightroom to make the name change.

  3. the images are on an external hard drive that is disconnected or the drive letter or name has changed.

  4. that happened to me. I replaced my main hard drive with an SSD. A few times after I installed the new SSD, the computer seems to get confused about the names of drive letter. After a day or two, however, the problem has stopped.

  I'm not sure that you understand the problem. The connection is down to chance? It happens only in the morning when you open the lid? You would update anything else in time (especially a Windows Update)?
