  standard 3 plan types more 1 for labor and 1 for capital expenditures, so 5 in total if you use staff and capital spending, not that I would recommend trying to use five in an application.

• 5.0.2 - always impossible to import QuickTime JVC files

  I was absolutely delighted with the announcement that the 5.0.2 update would import JVC Pro HD QuickTime MOV... until I actually tried. Unfortunately, I still get the import error complaining that the codec was not found, and I tried several of these files without success. Am I still missing something?

  System: Dell Alienware Area 51, Intel i7 980 X CPU, 12 GB RAM, 1 TB SATA HD (c), 2 TB SATA HD (D :), BD/DVD/CD Burner Drive (E :), DVD/CD Burner Drive (f), 4 TB RAID-0 eSATA HD (g), NVIDIA Quadro FX 4800 card, 2 Dell U2410 monitor, Windows 7 Pro 64-bit.))

  Main software: Adobe CS5 Master Collection, Office 2007, QuickTime 7 Pro 10 w/iTunes, Nero 10, SnagIt 9, Camtasia Studio 7.

  Camera: JVC ProHD GY-HD200CB17PS with Focus Enhancements DR - HD100 Portable DTE recorder. (Usually copy video files from the disk FireWire.)

  This is a brand new computer and it purrs like one kitten - other no problem at all with this system; LIKE the performance of the video card of 4800 with first CS5! And Yes, I'm quite sure the 5.0.2 version has been downloaded and updated - I had to update the NVIDIA drivers subsequently to find support CUDA, but all is well after the update of the driver.

  On the JVC camera, normally burn us DV (AVI-2) or HDV M2T formats, but there is another guy in the building which has a Final Cut system with the exact same camera/drive and it uses HDV MOV mode. When we used her videos, I have to bring home, convert them on my iMac using "calibrated {Q} XD decode" calibrated software plugin (I don't have Final Cut Express) and bring back the files converted to use first. M2T format that normally we save ourselves works very well without any conversion.

  Would like to buy the plugin Callibrated for CS5 if possible of derivation. Someone at - it ideas? (Adobe?) -Thanks!

  I can't get either import, neither it reproduces on Windows in any player I have tried (including the QuickTime Player). QuickTime is reported as Apple HDV and MediaInfo lists the FourCC of the codec as 'hdv9 '. Generally, these are bad signs. It is a codec that is not available on a PC... at all... ever... period. Or, at least not without some capital spending from your part...

  JVC QuickTime MOV with first Pro CS5 support (and agents of the clips I posted) for HDV, XDCAM variants are not. They are both MPEG-2, but unfortunately, they are different kinds of MPEG-2 and first do not swallow the kind HDV MOV. This isn't for lack of Adobe so it's Apple's fault; they have never fit to provide versions Windows components for QuickTime decoding. It is there that calibrated codecs come into play - you can get versions of Windows of them allowing the import and playback of these SBDAs.

  If you discover a sheet for the Firestore, you will see how this QuickTime MOV mode is only for the CPF, as the FCC does not support MPEG-2 transport streams. With the plug-in of calibrated, you're covered, but this isn't a question of creation, I'm afraid.

  Try to install the calibrated demo - I have the impression it will allow you to import these files.

• Printer HP Officejet Pro 8100 & custom paper sizes

  Found all useful instructions on creating new formats of paper custom in Windows 7. But am complete novice & need to buy a printer for a charity. Installs on this model because of good reviews, but more work will be 1 document of custom paper size. Need to know if the instructions are foolproof! (Before spending their money.)

  After some detailed research, as well as installing the Pro 8100 (and other products) on a Windows 7 system, we determined the 8100 Pro does not support custom sizes: this is by design and intent.

  Note that one of our engineers proposes to use a different set of drivers (from an older device) as a possible workaround, but it is not proven and could be used to limit your overall functionality of the device.

  However, we have confirmed that a newer device which is currently, the HP Officejet Pro 8610 (8620 or 8630) e-all-in-one, supports the formats customized; Here is the multifunctional printers.

  By following the instructions in the link you sent, you can create new forms with custom formats and it will be displayed in the properties of the printer to get a job / select. It supports custom formats of 3,00 x 8.50 x 14.00 5.00 in. in.

  Our intention is only to provide information about what we know; you could take a moment and perhaps see if a representative Marketing HP might be able to give you more information, but that's what we have.

But how do I get it through the EL Expression. If I use #{pageDocBean.pagePath} and then I get the path of the page. But I wanted to get the direct Url which will be in the form portalname/pagename/subpagename . Can someone tell me please how to get that.

• Hyperion Planning - the depreciation calculation

  This is an SOS

  I am writing a business rule to calculate linear depreciation for new capital for my client. We have implemented for the value net asset, life useful and depreciation for new capital of accounts. We use the EPMA Hyperion 11.1.2.3

  Value of depreciation (DP) = value of the asset / (duration in months)

  The requirement is that we need clear all data existing for the damping values (like the 'old' would go in asset accounts) - what is done.

  We calculate the H.B only since the month of the current year to December of next year. The user can enter the inventory value for the current month, as well as for any month after the current year. The calculation should stop for each asset once it's useful life is over.

  I tried to use a lot of things and then abandoned. Then tried the @SLN function, but because we cannot use a XRANGE in there, I'm able to calculate depreciation perfectly for the current year, but not for next year. !

  What is the common method to calculate straight line depreciation?

  I never got any SLN to work over the years, but I have successfully "roll my own" amortization Calc.  I don't have the code in front of me, but here are the General steps:

  (1) use the option @MOVSUMX (using the TRAILSUM) to accumulate the sum of your investment capital.  (by asset class)  You'll want to use XRANGE so the @MOVSUMX through the years.

  (2) take this sum of working capital and divide it by the depreciable lives of particular asset class that you calculate.

  Something important that you will need test... do you have asset classes depreciable life which is shorter than your planning horizon?  In other words, you have new capital that depreciate entirely in your planning deadlines?

  See if you can get working with Excel formulas according to Smart Computing, as this will translate to a business rule more straignt forward.

  Hi Surya,

  Capital transactions are recorded and maintained in a book of assets... when we say the fixed assets module is in the accounts, this means, a book of assets is sufficient for a book... There is no book of independent wealth necessary to any legal entity, operation etc...
  If the fixed assets module is at the level of the working unit, it means a book of capital must be created for each business unit... like other subledger modules...

  You can refer to the Guide of the current user, which contains a clear overview on the basics.

  If the query is "assets of Oracle can allow conversion of an asset Capital/CIP to a credit to expense at the stage of adding mass?"

  The answer looks like no.... I did a below test case myself to see the results.
  (1) created invoice to pay with the active account temporary, valid, approved, represents the invoice...
  (2) transferred to GL and linked the process of creating massive addition of accounts payable
  (3) asset, went to the screen adding mass to prepare...
  (4) questioned a line of addition of mass with the NEW status
  (5) in assets Details TAB, the type of property for my line is uppercase. I tried to change that in Expensed, while I can't change because the active type of expense is not listed in the drop-down options menu... I choose PAC or type of assets of the group, but not charged to the exercise...

  I tried another approach, by selecting a category (cool) for my line of massive addition, it will allow to change the type of assets or not... rather it throwed the below error message...

  «APP-OFA-48201 error: error incorrect asset Type and category combination for & stuff»

  In seeking the support of oracle with the above error reference came across the note below...
  165827.1 ID = APP-OFA-48201 when changing the category to prepare mass additions

  who says:

  "FA only allows assets reclassified between capitalized categories or between categories has expensed. Assets may not be reclassified between categories past expensed and capitalized. "

  I'm assuming that the conclusion or you can change the type of assets of immobilized to Expensed to the massive addition step prepared... .you could either remove the line and assets (load) to create manually...

• Adobe Flash Player install/Uninstaller 11.2.r202 has encountered a problem and needs to close

  Seems that the 3 or 4 recent Flash Player updates, once the update is complete, but before the installer stops actually, I get a box of error message telling me that "Adobe Flash Player install/Uninstaller 11.2.r202 has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience. ', etc, etc, etc.  I received this error several times as most of the computers I work on Windows XP SP3 (all updates) with Internet Explorer 8 browser, including my own computer and my wife.  If I could copy/paste the details, I'd do it.  But is not the temporary file which is supposed to be created for purposes, error reporting, and I'm not going to spend the next half hour to transcribe all the technical details.  I just want you to know, that there is a problem with your Installer.       -kd5150-

• New on Premiere Pro CS5.5

  Hi all

  Recently moved upward to CS5.5 of PE8 and hoping for some advice before starting my main project.

  Project will be approximately 1 HR long, want to be able to burn any DVD Blu Ray as well as the finished product. Most of the footage was shot so far with / Handycam Sony HDR - CX, AVCHD located on FH, (should I use FX?). Some also have film shot with a standard DV camera and I would use both in project?

  I am able to create the project with 5.1 SS and always use footage with 2 stereo channels also?

  Played around looked suspicious, I have an incorrect setting, from the tutorials a bit edition with some success, until he comes to burn on DVD, seem to say don't bother the settings of the project at the beginning?

  My main issues so far are - should I set the necessary parameters at the beginning of my project? and if so what settings should I choose for desired finished products?  Also should what settings I choose when recording on HDD to burn it to DVD and then BR discs?

  You can do a test of Red Giant Magic Bullet instant HD up-rezzing the SD material to HD. Some users really like it for their story, but others are the result not in their standards. Only a trial will tell you if it helps with your images.

  With a master 5.1 and the Minnetonka Audio over-codes DD 5.1 SS plugin, you can work with stereo equipment. There are many ways to use it, just leave the "Audio" Stadium collapse of 5.1 to stereo or using the Panel mixer Audio to place the apparent around the Audio scene source, or still to duplicate this stereo stream and may add Reverb and perhaps delay the dupe, then adjust the locations on the stage of (fake 5.1 Audio).

  Now, you do not have a 5.1 Master and also the SurCode plugin or program/CPU very similar to the output of DD 5.1 SS, as an AC3 track.

  I was able to insert a record of capital test against an account using the accountname on this asset class field, but if I run it again the insert creates a capital duplicate record. Which fields in assets make it unique so that I can ensure failure when duplicates are tempted?
  
  Also, when I try to insert data from a date field in the assets it does not appear on the record after insertion. I use the .net datetime field and can see the format MM/DD/YYYY time when the insert is executed.

  All types of records in CRM On Demand have their ID (account ID, AssetId, OpportunityId...) field which makes them unique. In the case of account, uniqueness is also applied by the combination of the fields name and location (no record of two account cannot have the same name and location). Unfortunately, I do not think that it is such a key for the assets leaving AssetId might be your best bet.

  Regarding the datefield format, I found this in the Oracle® Web Services on application Guide Version 4.0 (Oracle CRM On Demand

  There is a similar issue where a user asks why his user name is indicated in all cases of small. My problem is the reverse of this and have a problem me of security in the way that it appears. Do you understand what I'm saying / implying? Second half of my question must be indicated separately... but I can't show screen captures and copy / paste it to display all my concerns separately.   I use a rule in userContent.css to change this in small capitals.
  Which looks almost the same and allows to preserve the species, that is to ask a question shows with a capital 'A' instead of as 'ASK A QUESTION '.

• CAPEX - capital assets under Construction

  I'm currently considered the 'out of the box' Capex planning module and trying to decide how best to make changes so that we can plan for assets that are under construction.
  
  Out of the box, it seems that you can only enter a total value of an item and put into service on a given date. We want to be able to plan on a monthly basis and use the total of the periodic values for depreciation etc..
  
  Have experience of humanity this change? Advice, ideas etc. ?

  It is now more clear. I think that your starting point should be ' 08 a spending capital summary - section Details '.
  By changing this form and the attached business rule, you should be able to collect data on expenditures of capital of planners. Within the same business rule, you should be able to map the input data to the balance sheet and cash flow. CAPEX planning must support most of your out-of-the-box requirements, I think.

  There is however another premature condition of the active call and the projects. The challenge with it could be the fact that a project can end up under the name of several capital or several projects of becomes an asset once completed. To meet this requirement, you may need to create a separate dimension of projects. Here is a guideline of the Capex Administrator's guide:
