p.s. I've ever experienced this problem when I got the laptop first, so I don't know that it's happened in the past 6 months - 1 year.

I managed to sucesfully (at least temporarily) fix the slow connection error by uninstalling my network adapter (I left her uninstall driver box unchecked during this operation) in devices, reboot and then Connection Manager. It is connected to the normal speed. I have not yet tested to see if the same problem has been resolved, but I'll come back to that when I test it later.

I understand, it is possible to uncheck auto connect once a network has a profile, but I would prefer that there is no option to auto connect at all and if there must be than the defult do not do self rather than auto connect by defult?

    Hello

There is an easy way to start the computer disconnected with wireless.

    1. Command line opened as administrator by right click on CMD Run As Administrator
    2. This command to type: sc config Wlansvc start = demand
    3. This will set the service WLAN to the on demand service which means user must initiate the connection after the start
    4. You can then create BEATS with this command, the user can activate/wireless:sc start Wlansvc
Let me know the results and if this is the solution you need. You can set it back to the original of the application settings to replace withauto

  • What is the number of attempts to "Auto-connect" in MSDS.

    Hello

I would like to know, how many times a TMS would attempt a point of termination/MCU while trying to send shout information - before you say

'Allocate failed, the Conference is not automatically connected.

The type of conference is auto connect

Automatic connection: Cisco TMS will automatically connect participants to the date and time specified.

    Hello

Seems more like a first try and then try to re 3-tent after the initial report and it seems to be the same for the CHT and the MCU.

So 1 initial attempts + 3 before it says it can not it automatically connect.

  • TMS 14.3 - auto connect problem - multiple call attempts

    Hi people,

I have a client with an environment with TMS 14.3, conductor XC 2.2, VCS 7.2.2 TP Server 3.1 and CUCM 8.6.2. They have several items on VCS and several endpoints of CTS/TX registered to CUCM Cisco and Polycom endpoints. There is a trunk SIP between CUCM and VCS. Conductor is integrated with VCS by using the B2BUA deployment model. TP server is behind the driver used as multipoint resource only for conferences scheduled through TMS.

We are having problems when planning a Conference at TMS using type "Auto-connect" and setting driver to dial a number to the selected participants. For some end points when the meeting starts, conductor made several calls try to participants, even after participants answering the call. For example, conductor connects to an endpoint 3000 CTS, CTS answers the call and connect to the meeting, but a few seconds later, conductor's call another attempt at the endpoint, then endpoint answers the second call and put the first call on hold.

This problem occurs for the following parameters:

    • Endpoints of Polycom HDX series
    • CUCM items of endpoint CTS/TX
    • Outside dial participants (those selected on the tab 'External' to the planning page)

The problem does not occur for any endpoint TC registered in VCS.

As a troubleshooting step, the client was trying to configure TMS to try to connect to the participants once (using the "Attempts to connect for scheduled calls" setting value 1), but the issue still occur.

Tomorrow, I'll be on the customer's site to check if this strange behavior has been generated by TMS or by the chef himself. I really think that it is some sort of bug. I don't know that their environment has been configured properly according to the Cisco documentation, because I was the person who made the project.

I'd appreciate any suggestions really.   =)

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Paulo,

a few days back we had seen this problem and I filed the bug "CSCui90143."

Currently, we anticipate that this problem occurs because the MSD is not able to understand the message of feedback from the conductor.

I hope that clarifies. I don't have to if you want to be able to access the bug or not.

    Hi Rocamag,

Are you always encounter the same problem with your laptop?

If so, here's something else that you might want to try.
First of all, scan your computer for any virus/malware
    http://social.answers.Microsoft.com/forums/en-us/vistasecurity/thread/fa30853d-719a-4265-9e7b-9287567d31e3

Once you are sure that this computer is clean of viruses/malware, click Start, type in the search box "Services.msc".  Make a right click on the program came, choose Run as administrator, say continue in the pop-up window requesting permission.  In the Services window, locate the service 'WLAN Auto Configuration' in the list, right-click and choose Properties.  Change the Startup Type to automatic, save and restart your computer.

  • Wusb54g Auto Connect solution?

My WUSB54G WLAN Monitor V2.0 is unable to connect about 70% of the time after the start of XP. I have been looking for a solution to this for at least a year and tried to suppress, installation, reinstalling, downloading drivers etc etc. But it still fails intermittently.

After initially starting, the WLAN monitor displays in the taskbar and there is no connection. that is, it is not 'green '. If I double click on it and set up the monitor no sites show them, the button refresh and the connect buttons are opaque and do not work. Tab profiles not my show of profiles.

If I start Net Stumbler Monitor detects my network immediately and turns green. It is also all the other networks floating them around. The default profile is also visible on the Profiles tab.

I can also get the monitor to find my network by unplugging the usb cable and reconnect it in the WUSB54G.

Once connected to my network, I have no other problems. There is no indication of error.

This may be a problem of problem not a WUSB54G v2.0 WLAN monitor?

    Kind regards

    Stan

    Ok

I got it with the XP network connection. What I had to do was after you uninstall the Linksys/monitor drivers, go to Start--> Run--> % SystemRoot%\system32\services.msc/s, and then click 'Wireless Zero Configuration' and change the type of start on 'Auto' (it was set to manual). Then re - start and follow the suggested directions.

After that, the automatic Wireless Configuration has started and found different wireless radio locally. He actually found and partially connected to my WEP network, but has never asked for the key. So I had to disconnect and reconnect to enter the WEP key. After that everything seems to work and car, from my connection at startup.

    Thank you

  • How can I disable a VM pref retroactively or by substitution of policy? (for example on stop USB auto connect)

I'm using VMWare Workstation 7. We have a problem that I met in a large number of virtual machines is that they didn't 'Automatically connect new USB devices' disabled when their snapshots have been created. Although I can disable this preference in future from the virtual computer, disabling the preference power and take another cliché, it's a great nuisance. Is it possible that I can replace all the VMS I load and resume on my system basically by default that the preference off, regardless of the way in which an individual VM may be set, essentially the substitution of the individual preference?

It has become very annoying. I had all these clichés with auto USB active connect. I could disable the vmware USB cross on the host completely, but I still need USB. I just don't want to connect devices automatically.

If there is a way to replace the policy, I would also like to add something like bios.bootDelay = "5000" as a preference of substitution so that all virtual machines running snapshot would use this preference.

Thanks for any help or idea that you can offer

WoodyZ thanks for your help. I was able to stop the new devices to be autoconnectée. I looked in the vmware.log for some of my virtual machines. Workstation search three configuration files:

    DICT - USER default C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\VMware\config.ini

    DICT - C:\ProgramData\VMware\VMware Workstation\config.ini default HOST

    DICT - GLOBAL SETTINGS C:\ProgramData\VMware\VMware Workstation\settings.ini

First, I tried the HOST file. I've added:

    USB. Generic.AutoConnect = "FALSE".

It worked, but only if the vmx file does not explicitly mention the opposite (in other words, there is no substitution). AutoConnect is by default TRUE, many vmx files won't that explicitly in the file vmx is always a good solution to stop the automatic connection of new devices. But for example I put in a file vmx usb.generic.autoconnect = "TRUE" , and even with autoconnect defined in the file HOST " false", autoconnect is always enabled when I came to the virtual machine.

Then, I moved this line between the HOST and the GLOBAL configuration file:

    USB. Generic.AutoConnect = "FALSE".

That seems to work as a substitution. I tried several times to confirm, the VMWare Workstation 9 closing and reopening. Whenever I took a virtual machine, although it was usb.generic.autoconnect = "TRUE" in the vmx file, the automatic connection of new devices has been disabled. Is why it seems the correct way to override and disable usb.generic.autoconnect no matter how it is defined in a vmx file is to place the preference in the GLOBAL file. Note that changing that option prevents only against the new devices being autoconnectée; in other words, it prevents the devices that do not already have a login entry automatic explicit device in the file like usb.autoConnect.device0 vmx, usb.autoConnect.device1, etc.. Also note that when a virtual machine is interrupted the USB controller "connects automatically new USB devices" in the GUI can still see the verified, but when the virtual machine is resumed, it will be disabled.

Stop autoconnect entirely: I have experience implementing usb.autoConnect.device0 = "" global config and who can stop a device with a usb.autoConnect.device0 entry in the vmx file to be autoconnectée on the resume. " And once the virtual machine is resumed the device can still be connected manually. (Although there will be a warning on connect "the value of usb.autoConnect.device0 cannot be redefined" so maybe it's not ideal). If someone wanted to expand this idea they could add a line for each up to usb.autoConnect.deviceN with N being all that is the max. Anyone know what it is?

If someone who reads it isn't aware of any piece of data that really makes a recommended to contain malicious software on a virtual computer then this information must be added. I don't know that if many people is aware that if your virtual machine is the active window and you plugin a key USB and VMWare tools is installed on the client, then the default player is autoconnectée at the prompt.

I am also playing with adding other prefs from different files; like right now I've got bios.bootDelay = "5000" in my HOST file and that works for delaying my VMs to start in 5 seconds to make it a little easier access the BIOS.
